on a rice dats kinda nice
i hope the mussels don't contain sand
or wat they eatin
most asian dudes don't bother remove the stomach contents just straight up eating it with cheese
Is that cum?
i am an asian dude...
I mix butter, flour, milk and cheese on top
this is one of the few times I actually said mussels for the benefit of non filipinos lol, I always just say tahong
just gotta soak them in water for them to disgorge the sand and whatever else they've eaten
least ur not joponeze....
^
yep dat works but once it's done we always double check the insides
apparently some europeans don't appreciate eating em cuz of sand
and they don't like mussels cuz it's invasive
I dont like seafood for 2 reasons
- The chance to get sick from it is enormous if you fuck something up
- We throw so much Garbage into the Water,i dont need to eat that.
Last time i ate Seafood it was in GB Years ago
more seafood for me then
Outright horrible
the benefits of living in a tropical country
feq snowy place
Garbage in seafood is as disgusting as antibiotics in farm animals
How to counter that, have your own animals
Perks of the Village life
if you live far inland, getting really fresh seafood might be difficult
I only get mine straight from the monger
Living not far from the north sea
Yet "fresh" is not the issue
Rather the microplastics
Which is even found in newborn babys since a few years
that makes sense
I do wonder how scientists can actually determine the effects of microplastics on humans
you'd need a control grup
but pretty much everyone has already built it up
Yep,it will be a problem sooner or later
It already is .
Today its just Pizza cause its lazy Saturday
it's these newfangled microplastics that are ruining this generation's stomachs. back in MY day, we got lead poisoning
and we LIKED it!
True if you grow up with all the traditions etc
I mean we eat specialy prepared raw meat
Mett
This^
Tilapia's one fish that's got a reputation here for being "dirty" and for being bottom feeders
not strictly true, but they'll do that in poorly handled tilapia farms
can't really throw them into the wild though since they'll bully other fish off of their territory
Afrikanische Buntbarsche. They look kinda fancy
so technically fish farms should be cleaner and safer for them to swim in to be farmed
Invasive assholes i see
it's on companies to actually keep them clean tho
someone shared their mett sushi
And we all know companies like to safe money
The mett sushi was disgusting
Especialy the pineapple one
We dont do that
It puts you on a black list in most German states
lmao sorry bruh
can't be that much different from kibbeh nayeh though, raw lamb on pita bread
happy to say I consider myself a pretty adventurous person when it comes to trying food, mett and kibbeh nayeh don't sound THAT bad
I try everything i get
Then i can always say i dont like it
Kibbeh nayeh sounds interesting
Atm im trying to get me some Insect burger patties they started to sell here but i couldnt find them yet
I promise that I will soon post stuff that is even more based then Mett-sushi (with Pineapple)
Also, Pineapple pizza is great, it always needs some Hollondaise or similar sauce to be truely goated with the sauce
I personally see the Tomato and Pineapple as too much in combination for sweetness/acidity
pineapple, ham and blue cheese do hit different tho
Ve piasse ncorpo a tutti
I think some Italian just died over the amount of food crimes you commited.
Guys, Guys, I'm going to make an even more cursed version of Sushi:
Instead of Rice I will take Buckwheat that i coat with a bit of vingera, salt, sugar + a bit of starch mixture and fill it with roasted Mushrooms and Porkbelly roast + roll it in seaweed
snaps spaghetti in half
I actualy do that
Not with a desert i had today
She put salt into it because it smelled sweet
Who the fuck puts salt into a DESERT?!?@
dude, every baker puts a bit of salt into every cake batter to improve the sweetness and sea salt + caramel is a popular combination, what are you talking about ?
Not like that
Imagine making a simple desert for yourself, out of strawberry and milk
And instead of sugar, you put SALT into it
well, it also could be a cultural thing tbh, slavs preserve watermelons in a jar with salt water
the result is a rather salty, kinda sweet water melon taste
Yeah, but was it at an ethnic restaurant
We are
At various different chapters right now
IT WAS 2 SPOONS OF SALT
2 fuxking spoons
Do i need to say more????
Exactly.
Buckwheat Sushi lmao
Pretty delish tbh, the home made Chilisauce and pork roast strips are great. The seaweed fits well with the taste of all ingredients
Great tbh, it's similar to regular sushi rice but with a little bit more bite and a more, savory taste. Rice is rather bland after all.
It perfectly fits with the taste of pork, chili/garlic/ginger sauce and seaweed, since the heat of the chili tames the strong taste of the seaweed
It is a legit thing to eat and japanese already use buckwheat in some soma noodles that they serve with all kinds of cooked meat
I know and I also seasoned the buckwheat + added a bit of starch so it sticks better
Yep, already heard about that stuff, i just like to have fun with japanese dishes and make weebs seethe
Tho
^^
don't wanna judge yer sushi skills but that's something
just continue ur work maybe someday u became meat sushi

YOOOOOOOO, I will make Mochi filled with mett soon 🤯
Stay tuned the next few days
I'll even put a little bit of Ananas sorbet as a core to enhance the Mett
A review of a VERY rare Scottish army ration. Carbohydrate-rich to match the Scottish diet and protect against the harsh cold environment of war and Scotland in general.
It appears to be made of all the key Scottish, Irish and Canadian food groups with the bonus of a slightly dangerous ration heater based on radioactive components also used by ...
Was reminded this existed
TLDW; using discarded nuclear fuel to cook a cup of noodles
everything I know and love will be turned into mett
I'll follow a mett recipe
and then cook the pork anyway

and turn it into tortang giniling
which is basically an omelette with ground pork and seasoning
my favorite lazy breakfast, tbh
tortang eggplant's actually a lot more common
to my surprise
ooh yeah I do that with bell peppers too
using the stove I mean
actually made some tortang talong last week, with spaghetti and meatballs
and crispy tofu
Will make the mett mochii after work tomorrow.
Also, a new Sushi Idea:
I'll take Rice but I'll season it with Hollondaise sauce powder and fill the sushi with asparagus and ham o_O
it will be this but inside a sushi roll
Oh wait, even better
Istead of rice i can cut boiled potatos into fine cubes o_O
and i could even make a greek sushi that uses those noodles that they have that look like rice some day
I still have 7 sheets of Nori left so i can try some more bizzare stuff
oh and 'll do something with beans too
tacco sushi
or something idk
maybe british sushi that uses heinz baked beans that I'll thicken up instead of rice and a sausage roll hotdog.
I'll dip it in wochester? sauce and mint sauce instead of soy sauce and wasabi
If anyone has another Idea for "cursed" Sushi or other Japanese dishes, ping me
i donno how should i say this but
dat looks like a fine dining restaurant
Boarger
I made only one mett mochi, the rest is ice-cream mochi, and yes, i realy need some more practice to master making mochi
The sushi is made with rice that is seasoned with a very thick hollandaise like sauce.
It was delicious, needed more ham tho
Food gallery
the mochi dough is based on this guide btw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTlbqr12bQk
Mochi with Oreo filling.

Join our baking group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/619047986152274/
although it is easier and fitting to nuke the raw mochi dough in a microwave, the waterbath/steaming method is better and you get a smoother mochii
if you nuke it, check it every like 30 secs and stir
dear gawd.......
Whats next? Semmelknödel filled with Mett?
why raw pork tho
Cause its specialy prepared so that you can eat it raw
German specialty
I'm gonna make the same thing but with cooked pork instead.

homemade lechon kawali
crispy friend galunggong (mackerel scad) in olive oil, from a resto I went to yesterday
This is why cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the US https://fxtwitter.com/bornakang/status/1651053285510397952?s=46&t=xqeqFjv00zpLBWGPz2VATA
I can’t tell if he is old or young
I can feel the hypertension
dude looks between 15 and 40 years old
Go ahead, then you would just have a very complicated to make pelmeni, ravioli, manti, dumplings etc... where the ingredients are cooked and combined separately. It wouldn't be a fun alliteration like mett mochi nor a fun way to showcase one of the most german things to eat
culinary shitpost for the ages
Guys, Heinz Baked Beans british Sushi is next on the list, Will post it in like 3 days or so
will skip heinz boba tho
natto sushi is a thing tho
but regardless
Yep, but i will take the baked beans to supstitue the rice and put a greggs sausage roll type hot dog in the middle.
will dip it in worchester? sauce and mit sauce because it kinda looks like wasabi / soy sauce
🇬🇧
will thicken up the baked beans so they ain't to soggy for the nori
Hah! beans and rice already go well together, my fear for the end result is only slightly lessened
nvm i forgot about the nori

🅱️ I G
🅱️ E A N
that's a wide borger
Ube halaya grilled cheese
put baby back ribs on that list
and shellfish
hard shell tacos, which are messy to eat and also just suck in general compared to soft shell
holy shit dat looks pretty good
donno wat dat is as long it's tasty
Ube is what we call purple yams here in the philippines, we boil and mash them into jam
or paste/powder/etc
made another sandwich, this time with 2 cheeses and beef mushroom melt
they're just ikea meatballs that I smushed up and made mushroom gravy out of
ahhh,,,,,,okay
I made my own "processed" cheese with a mix of diff cheese powders and some gelatin, and wow it's good
cheddar, gruyere, and parmesan
it was pretty weird at first because you taste the real cheesiness, but they melt easily, like Kraft singles
Reazione fantastica di Gino D'Acampo dopo aver sentito una particolare versione del ragù...
Fantastic reaction of Gino D'Acampo after he heard one particular version of the italian ragù...
Poggies, we got something similar here in Greece, it's called a skepasth (the h sounds like an i, we got two different ones)
when you get so angry you revert to your native language
Hey , what's the most cursed sushi / greek food mash-up you could think of as someone from Greece?
Gyros nigiri with tzatziki sauce instead of wasabi
but it's just the fatty part of the gyros
not actual meat
and not even crispy fat, just borderline undercooked fat
do not answer this man's question
he will make it
he makes cursed meals very well, tho
Fucking delivery guy dropped my salad
He thought i didnt hear it,said nothing and to bad i know his Boss personaly :/
If he said something it would be ok.
Going to be making a curry lite sauce for home made pizzas the next time.
The Mett Döner Kebap just dropped
Tasty tbh
Ping all the turks on the server pls thx
🇹🇷
I am taking notes and I will replace the rice with orzo Thx
orzo?
broski is that raw minced meat?
are you still alive?
Orzo (Italian for 'barley'; , Italian: [ˈɔrdzo]; from Latin hordeum), also known as risoni (pronounced [riˈzoːni]; 'large [grains of] rice'), is a form of short-cut pasta, shaped like a large grain of rice. Orzo is traditionally made from flour, but it can also be made of whole grain. It is often made with semolina, a type of flour made from du...

I'm not only alive, I'm thriving
stuff was good
Its funny how often Mett has to be explained here
I will Mett post until everyone will know what's up.

zased
Blueberry banana bread
Thanks
potato 50 cents
corn 25 cents
chuck eye steak $4
Vidalia onion .25 cents
bread, like $1
lol
Four bucks for chuck eye steak? Cheap!
As a fellow man from the south, I can confirm this is true
You just gotta know when to go shopping and where

The Italy Sushi just dropped, instead of rice i took gnocchi that i cut up into small pieces and put some Italian air dried ham, Parmesan and tomato as a filling.
Instead of wasabi there is pesto
Mama mia
🇮🇹
...............
watafeq im seeing is it just me or he made somethin good dis time
looks edible to me
something good this time
implying everything else was not based and meat pilled
^^
surely parma ham or prosciutto wasn't too salty
nope, i did not oversalt the gnocchi so it was fine
this food meme should be edited with my sushi posts
no no the meat part parma ham and prosciutto are salty meat
yeah I got a gas station near me aimed at long distance truckers and the food there was great. Not sure how prices are now, haven't been there for years
Life of the garlic bread continues
you may like bistek (beefsteak) here in the philippines
the philippines isn't known for good beef dishes because the quality is kinda subpar compared to our pork, so we work around relatively tough cuts
pork lechon
lechon baka (beef) is also a rarer and more expensive alternative to the pork version
Ngolo de poulet in Kigali
What's that?
Looks like a meat stew of some sort
would eat
Kinda like a Thai peanut sauce? Has chicken in it, was very good and savory
Chicken dish I made ages ago, fucken delicious
it was
i really should make it again sometime
lmao
I'm salivating just thinking about making it again

Burger I had he other day
a dish I made during the height of the pandemic, when I couldn;t go out for groceries
ground beef, sausage, rice, bacon, and herbs with bechamel sauce

chicken parm on tomato sauce?
So should I repost all my foodpics here?
might aswell, they looked real nice
Ya know a side dish ya all should make? Put feta cheese with some tomato slices on top (like 1 or 2) in a microwaveable container, cover it in plastic wrap (the see through wrapping people use to wrap foods in, dont cover it in plastic and have it melt) and put it in the microwave at like 750 for 5 minutes!
And boom, ya made greek bougiourdi
One moment
I use that with feta cheese, tomatoes and a bit of olive oil
The pics are for the container
It issss
Its my favorite side dish ever
It goes with almost every single good I've ever had
And knowing what americans eat, it would be the perfect side dish for every single barbecue
Only issue will be that not container will be big enough
You'll always wish you had a bit more
And the best thing is that if you put like, spicy peppers on top of the tomatoes the whole cheese gets spicy
If you are grilling stuff you can always just put the same ingredients in tinfoil and bake it there, just know its gonna have a lot of juices so make sure its multiple plays of tinfoil so you can grab it without it tearing
Lemme see if I can find a pic of it
couldnt find it so enjoy this three course meal i had in romania for aroudn 50 euros
i saw sink steak when i saw this
Milk steak
❤️❤️
another opportunity for me to plug Pinoy food, here's some Bananacue (fried/grilled bananas with caramelized sugar) I had yesterday which you may like
and some turon (banana in fried egg rolls) with ice cream
we use saba bananas, which are almost the same as plantains used in most African cuisines
interesting to see how two cultures can use the same ingredient very differently
I apreciate the banana posting, as a euro i rarely see stuff like that
philippine mangoes, bananas, and other fruits are things i cannot live without
well i hear philippine mangoes are the only sweetest fruit growned here unlike china and india
Yeah, had a similar dish with the carmalization! Your ice cream dish looks great too
I've always loved plantains in Latin American cooking, cool to see it expanded as well
I need me some fried plantains now
Had some this morning
Vidalia onion on bottom
Mesquite pork chop
Corn
red potato
brussel sprouts
all baked covered in foil for 1 hour at 400f(last 10 minutes uncovered)
This was a result of laziness in only having to wash one dish
Far as cost of ingredients $4
I'm gonna try to implement wild stuff growing around me with the next thing I cook
See what I come up with
Salt and pepper maxxing, those bad boys are 45cm tall and the grinding mechanism in it is made by Peugeot, vrrooom vrooom
Goat and beef kebabs
Done
Lmao, nice
Sugar, and get this, more sugar!
Fuuuuuck this looks so good!
A high quality rub and a few fresh veggies makes all the difference in the world when you're doing a roast like this
Always amazed as to how much a good rub can transform even a poor cut of meat into something mouthwatering and delicious if you can get it done right
Went to a Chinese place the other day
Same here
Local roastery in Rwanda, Question Coffee
Bought 2kg of beans to bring back heh
Best cold brew I've ever had
godamn thats a smooth coldbrew

Mmm, fork. Delicious.

interesting wrapping, in England they come in tinfoil then in an opaque plastic carrier bag unless you wanna walk out with it
Did you get "za bebsi" with that?
no ketchup…
NO KETZUP!

P H O
Holy moly the quality
where?
I made german sauerkraut soup and dressed it up as Ramen (and failed because moving the bowl to the table ruined the dekor)
100% trad german low carb food tho
but yes, the Concept of making a random soup and dressing it up as ramen is fun, if you are not a klutz
Home made fries and cheese sauce. The fried were a bit boring, but the sauce saved them.
how would this taste with ramen noodles?
"a little bacon and toast" escalated quickly.
idk, not bad I guess.
I made a mistake with putting in to much sauerkraut or not making it less sour by sqeezing/draining the juices a bit or even washing it slightly with water for even less of a sour taste.
I honestly avoid carbs as much as possible, even more so if it's noodles that are wheat based. I can only eat them when I'm doing a lot of physical activity that's not cardio.
OK 1 very important thing:
I need a clever but cursed Idea vor a Lasagne that is kinda asian.
My first impulse is to make a lasagne that is based on springroll dough sheets layered on top of each other ....
oh and yes, i will make mett springrolls
wonton wrappers instead of pasta sheets and gingery ground meat (preferably pork) for the mince
with chives
lots of green onions
maybe tofu for the layers??
I asked my brother and he suggested to make a korean lasagna based on a kind of Budae Jjigae (Korean Army Stew) and some sort of home made rice noodle to make sheets out of in order to layer it.
To top it off in a true korean manner i will take some melty processed cheese
/ buy some of that melting salt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzUAHh0csQo

Here I'm using a combination of mild cheddar and monteray jack to make american cheese at home. The cheese must be sof...
oh that's also cool
idk why I instantly thought of Chinese when I tought of asian lasagna
I would've suggested bulgogi ground beef too, lasagna has ground meat anyyway
one of my favorite lazy meals
pic not mine, just grabbed off of the internet
I've done something like this before! I made my own "processed" cheese with some salt and different kinds of cheese powder
and gelatin
it was a little weird eating it at first, it tasted like "real" cheese but with the consistency of yellow american
but I made some burgers with it and it was heaven
Me with two chopping boards
one for general purpose cutting, another for raw meat
Sometimes I raw dog it and just cut on the counter
Mf what
I'm over here with one
Just clean the mf after you cut meat
I ain't fuckin w/ cross contamination
Although whether I use 2 boards or just one really just depends on how lazy I'm feeling at the moment
Wet cloth'll do the trick
just don't use the same cutting board for veg as the raw meat before you give it a good wash
I have uuhh four? cutting boards, and just pick the board of the day depending on mood
you need to properly wash it with water and soap
I aint fucking around with salmonella risk on the table
just treat raw chicken like nuclear waste and you are good to go 👍
washing raw meat
I WOULD LIKE TO ADD that I only do this with fruits and veggies
but other than that, I was raised surrounded by professional cooks and family members that just took sanitation extremely seriously, it just stuck with me
I need to make ramen one day
I tend to avoid soy products unless it's very good fermented soy sauce.
I will make my own rice lasagna noodle.
yup, hence the korean army stew base, wich i will make very meaty and extra thicccc.
original lasagna is also just a thick meaty stew with only a little bit of tomato paste in it with fresh noodle for the layers
I don't know when i will post it tho, might take some time since my weekend will be very bussy at the yearly weeb fest in germany
https://www.japantag-duesseldorf-nrw.de/en
On May 13, Düsseldorf will once again be transformed into the site of one of Europe's largest Japanese culture festivals and will delight visitors with a spectacular Japanese firework display on the Rhine. Preparations for this year's 20th Japan-Day Düsseldorf/NRW are already in full swing. Citizens of Düsseldorf and all guests can look forward ...
i will do some research on japanese food there
garlic seasoned chicken right?
there's alot of weebfest between may and june u know
"mumbles im not a weeb don't judge me" some of mah frens wanted me to cosplay "girly" and do shopping at the stalls
oh wait is it bout food?
it's about all things japan and I'm just going to have a nice day there as a dude that just looks like the average Hipster.
i did indeed get invited to a weeb meeting tho for some reason lmao
Pork and it has salt, pepper, garlic and mustard
hell yea, thats the tried and true combo
Portion control is two people sharing one piece of lamb for dinner.
im sure it's gonna be tasty but the looks is kinda disturbin tho
Late night snack (would have been way better with potatoes)
some of the best food I've had in my life looked disgusting ngl
I feel like, the majority of the time, the worse (within reason) the food looks, (as in presentation) the best it is
Gf and I did have a salad but we ended up eating it before the lamb was ready

Our first time trying lamb at home, I think we did pretty good
Made a quarter pounder with cheese, extra rare (the patty is Mett)
cursed burger without context
would not eat that ngl
seeing that patty goes against my instincts
Holy rawness

Like putting the burger into a blender and making a sausage ? there is already a guy on youtube that does stuff like this.
I mean you can already buy something called "Mettwurst" in germany wich is just mett in a sausage skin that got smoked for example, there are like a to of different variations too.
I only use the freshest of mett straight from the local butcher and reject sausages if they are not home made.
I also rather dry my meat if i want to preserve it, sausage making ain't worth it, i tried it and it's way to much work.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mettwurst

Eating Mett is a german patriotic duty because cooking meat costs to much energy and we need to save as much gas and electricity as possible to survive the next winter as a nation.
🇩🇪

Germans have to choose between eating cold/raw food, or using coal power
a rough position to be in
Cold/raw is best cause you can actualy eat it here.In any other country you die of food poisioning when eating raw minced meat
well yeah, 'cause mett isn't just regular mincemeat, right? it's specifically very very fresh mincemeat, not something that'd sit on a cold shelf for three days before you buy it
Schmeat
Blueberry pie 😋
You will be suprised how long it holds up being kept cold
3 days aint nothing
without the burger bun lol watafeq
oh mettwurst
now dats appealing for me
dis is interesting
i heard germans go crazy on curry sauce
Give me food pls
We do we fucking do
It was soooo good
To bad my GF doesnt like it spicy so i had to make 2
A rather sweet curry sauce and a tabasko hot one for me
hey not gonna argue bout food as long it's delicious
She was suprised how i was able to negate 2 teaspoons of Tabasko
lol
The base of it is not very hot if you do it after the receipe
Today shes visiting her Grandmother while im working.Im gonna make me a good old Gulash
well have a good day cooking
Amazing pizza i cooked, my wife likes it with extra cheese
You just killed 10 Italiens
The "inventor" of Pineapple Pizza when it got popular died like 5 years ago so i cant tell him what abomination he created.
Guess what he was a Greek American
That explains absolutely everything
Oh and he had an Asian Restaurant
you should try ham pineapple blue cheese pizza bro
blue cheese balances out pineapples sweetness
goes with name "Americana" in here, fittingly
You know.
Well.
Im from this Country
Fast food disposal.
i should start cooking my Gulash if i want to east something today xD

nope, let me tell you about Mett
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mett
Mett, also known as Hackepeter (Northern Germany, Eastern Germany, Bavaria and Berlin) is a preparation of minced raw pork seasoned with salt and black pepper that is popular in Germany and Poland. Tartar is similar but something different.
its time for lil chili
you will regret that statement
cheese you want? cheese you get
🧀
off to finally eat my meal
the amount of cheese was quite good honestly, wee bit for each bite
Betrayal of the highest caliber...no cheese
Я сьогодні смачного банана навернув тєма
that is actually based af.
Work smarter not harder
it's still the same processed, carb and soybean oil loaded slob as always
I kinda give the benefit of the doubt since i know that even in europa you can buy canned beans that are ready to eat that are salted and or contain spices.
the instant the cheese sauce thing hit the counter it was over
fuck tiktok and content like this
About to spread my bread with some mettella. Amazing
hmmmmm looks kinda mashy don't u think?
its why i never cook em in big batches and always put em 3 cups of rice
apparently some of the grains aren't cooked but steamed
I did it
no need to do the dishes
Got some coffee thing at a place on the mug. Not food per-say..
It was some fine coffee.
I forgot to take a picture of the food. But it was alright, nothing special. Won't stick with me.
Brekky. banana, passion fruit chunks, blueberries, strawberries, dried apples and apricots
Since it's sunny and warm in central europe again:
I highly recommend getting a cheap camping gas stove and go on a picnic.
You can cook a fondue or an asian hot pot with those bad boys to flex on those uncreative people who only bring some sandwiches.
damn look so good
it was fantastic man, already missing it
Best kind of meal
I blame the movie I watched last night (Burnt, 2015) before sleeping
I have a much healthier relationship with food than I did when I was hardcore fasting, the guilt of eating carbs in the middle of the night is gone
I went to culinary school but dropped out once I realized it wasn't going to make me any real money and they cared more for presentation than taste and how spices mingled.
You may like the film Hunger on netflix
If its about people starving then I've seen my fair share when I was deployed to Africa lol
Nah, it's about a cook from a mom-and-pop stir fry place receiving an invitation to work in a cut throat kitchen
big message about cooking with love vs cooking for prestige
shawarma
SHAWARMA
I got a 1kg vacuum sealed pack of fresh Matjes on my Holland trip and it's unreal how amazing that stuff is.
It's just raw Herring that is slightly salted, served with mild / sweet onion cubes.
It's basically Mett but without mincing the raw meat that is fish in that case 🤔
Oh and those packs where the Herring is in a brine is usually trash compared to the "fresh" stuff.
True delicacies
🍕
Fuck, that looks delicious
This is a cursed beverage 🤢
How is this root beer ?!
Shit tastes like Bubblegum and sugar.
Took 2 small sips and the aftertaste is still lingering, my body is sending all kinds of signals to expel this fluid from my body now o_O
Nah, I just can't tolerate the high fructose corn syrup and the artificial flavouring . Authentic root beer might be a nice, powerfull thing to try out but to quote wiki:
"Since safrole, a key component of sassafras, was banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1960 due to its carcinogenicity, most commercial root beers have been flavored using artificial sassafras flavoring,[1][2] but a few (e.g. Hansen's) use a safrole-free sassafras extract.[3]"
I also confused it with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malt_beer since i thought rootbeer is the american a synonym for it for some reason
Malt beer is a sweet, low-alcohol beer (0–2.5% ABV) that is brewed like regular beer but with low or minimal fermentation. To keep the alcohol content low, one of two methods may be used: either the yeast is added at about 0 °C (resulting in an alcohol content of under 0.5% ABV) or fermentation is halted at the desired alcohol content (usually i...
It's also a hit or miss beverage because many brands are just waaaay to sugary
luv some spicy ginger beer time to time
It actualy tastes good and not like Mett
Try it with vanilla icecream
Also most American sweets and drinks taste artificial
I had Gushers and they were disgusting
their marketing is on point tho

Dear lord i love ribs
@merry glade I have red velvet cake again
en español XD
I like rice
250g beef, not best quality but decent, 100g pulled pork with bbq sauce, some cheese and raw onion
Has garlic pepper and salt, doesn't need more
Not gonna dump beef in paprika for a burger
seasoning never hurt nobody
The seasoning is mostly on the pulled pork
Don't like to overdo it on burger
Chicken ones sure but not beef
i will disagree
Understandable
i need a flavour bomb of a burger
i take a bite and i collapse from the amount of seasoning there is in it
god bless
You got good taste my guy
Sum more like this? Sadly I didn't make this one
Can't even see the meat under that cheese
looks alright
That was the best burger I had in my life
In the best nice burger place in my region
Instant ramen with egg and veggies from my garden
beachside breakfast and lunch
looks like something we have... pork giniling, one of my faves
need
Ooh bananas and egg. I wanna try that
the bananas are a bit like plantains. delicious when pan fried
red stuff on bottom left is pork tocino... and the two other bowls are filled with adobo fried rice
bruv 3rd pic on the bottom left looks like a deconstructed breakfast burrito and i'm all for it, i would consume it in all in 30 seconds
I'm glad you liked it brother
The tortilla had cheese, ham and a slice of tomato in it
close! it's pickled papaya
umami heaven
leftover ribs and some homemade potato salad
Never understood what "umami" was
savoury and deliciousness are the terms i'd use to describe umami
think of rich ramen broths, cheese, tomatoes, cheese, and soy sauce
basically, rich foods that will make you want a palate cleanser after 😆
perfect
First is shrimp with feta cheese and tomato sauce over rice, greek edition
Air fried fries with an assortment of meats and feta cheese
stealing this idea for dinner tomorrow, thx
And the last is a chicken roll with potats in the oven
delicioso
I'm waiting to get the ingredients to make my take on tacos
Do lmk if u want the receipe
I made garlic bread using this. I couldn't control myself from eating an entire half of a baguette before taking a picture.

There are many ways to make garlic bread, including easy garlic bread and difficult garlic bread. Fortunately, none of these garlic breads are particularly difficult and all of them are fairly delicious. That's because of the garlic and the bread.

you should try the EXTREME garlic bread from this vid + add fresh herbs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBnWZijMbMY
This week, once again, I'm using a mention of something in a movie or TV show to make a thing I want to eat. My bad. At least it's hot, fresh, buttery garlic bread! We're also whipping up a batch of a surprise garlic bread heavy-hitter, pan cubano, the crusty and soft Cuban loaf that loves to be squished. It's a good thing bread doesn't make you...
I can assure you that you will enter the flavourtown for real
Biscoff cheesecake, could of turned out a bit better but I don’t think it set right, either way worked out half decent in the end
holy shit biscoff mah favorite i always put on vanilla ice cream
many of mah nephews don't know anything bout biscoff is good
garlic bread yes
this one is toasted in oven so the garlic butter soaks into the bread
and then flipped so the top gets nice browning going
also helps to prevent garlic from burning
Lunch really did hit different. Warm sun, hot food, cool water and my cat coming over to cuddle.
Cheburek ?
Talk about one hell of a kidney bean.
To be specific for those interested:
cornish hen with salt pepper olive oil herb de provence with lemon inside it, salt pepper olive oil rosemary touch of thyme bit of garlic butter potato fingerlings, salt pepper lemon herb butter broccolini, garlic herb french bread
Do something with this some time this week
Good.
Ramen
Instant ramen
Looks good!
Do you use your own seasoning or the one that comes with it?
I only added on that scallion. Rest is from the package
Guda Mac n cheese with basil and bacon
Made ramen with katsu and egg. Yes i love noodles

Very estern europian
I will make a Vegan Bolognese today

Decided to make smth lite for once
Thin sliced bacon, eggs, big bowl of salad and a pint of cider
A sort of TF2 sandvich.

would demolish this so quick the steam would still be coming off it
Bastard, you made hungry before going to the gym.
I've done it. TF2 sandvich
Sandvich
I came in here because I've got nothing to do
Now I've got a recommendation for y'all:
Plov (Russian rice)
Or alternatively
Borsch (Ukrainian beetroot soup)
I would honestly recommend the 2nd one, I ate it just today with some sour cream and it was delicious
mussels, dijon msutard chicken, and cacio e pepe
Plov is middle eastern dish lmao

Spicy miso ramen
Based

bro I had those in romania when I visited for my grandpa, they where amaying, such a strong meaty taste tho
couldn't eat too many at a time
First time with fried duck, damn it is good.
Protein powder drink that's not like a milkshake
More like juice
Oh that kinda stuff.
High protein juice, it's really good
I can absolutely recommend it if you have the money for it
Yea, I got some amino powder stuff that works similarly.
Amino powder? What's the macros?
This would be a good time to mention I am simply using whatever my brothers get and recommend me. I simply have no idea what "the macros" mean other than macro nutrients
That's what macros means
What's the use case?
If you work out, it'd be better to get protein powder imo, focus on your macros rather than your micros
show me the nutrition label bro
Hmm alright
What do you use it for?
Also here's what I drink, it's 86g protein per 100g
Uh, after workout for muscle recovery stuff?
I just put it in my water if I'm doing stuff.
Or after.
Yeah you need protein for that, you don't really need to worry about the micros
Eat good shit, work out. simple as
Yea.
Get some actual protein though, micros can't build muscle like protein
Eggs, dairy, meat, etc.
Protein powder if you want easy mode
I got a simple enough recipe that cooks quickly. Bacon and onions.
Bacon and onions is not really that good for protein
add some eggs though, then it'll be alright
I'll definitely consider it next time.
Make sure you don't eat many eggs every day though, cholesterol
Even better, add some yoghurt on the side
Now you've got a good amount of protein
I have to ask bro, does it still give you da protein farts, ive been on regular milkshake whey for so long maybe i should give it a try
It's cold as heck where I am so I made some creamy chicken vegetable soup with buttered toast. Yum!
Of course it does, it's still high in protein
i made chicken strips coated in garlic (i cannot provide pics tho because they were yum and i ate them all lol)
sike
i was in the middle of munching, if anyone wants the recipe for my garlic coated chimken strips let me know :DD
that's just mayo
but ik how to make a sauce for them too
yeppers
but the strips are also coated in fresh garlic sauce made by me
as an ingredient
you just grind it in a small cup with salt then some cooking oil to make it smoother until it turns into paste
then add a bit of water
mix and pour all over the raw chicken strips
salt, pepper, paprika
also cooking oil over the raw chicken strips
mix them all into a large plastic bowl
make sure you have the egg bath ready
and the flour
flour+ egg bath (put salt in the egg bath too) then dip them a bit in the cornflakes you put in a different plastic bowl
yep
dont dip them too much in the cornflakes they need to have like a few bits on them
otherwise you cut your mouth from inside xdd
deep fry them for 10 min
then boom, congrats you just made food
yes
i make kebabs like this too, they're so yum :DD

At some point living there I was cooking nothing but spaghetti and chicken nuggets for 3 months
thought as much
Indomie! What flavour noodles did you get?
Mi Goreng and BBQ chicken, 15 each
they were the most sold ones so I picked em
I always pan fry some chopped onions, meat and veg with my mi goreng and top it with a drizzle of sesame oil. Can't go wrong!
Indomie best. I do some hondashi and light soy sauce in the water then some grated ginger and scallions with it
Sometimes sake and mirin if I want a more gyudon-esc broth
i love the og flavor of indomie. that shits the bomb!
I tried it and woah, how is this stuff not sold in common stores at 🇫🇮
beats the snot out of any noodle in similar pricerange
just making sure but you know its dry noodles, right? just asking because i've seen some people cook it like a soup lol
if you have asians markets near you that would be the best place to find em
While it is indeed true that the authentic way to eat mi goreng as a Malay dish is as a dry stir fried noodle dish, the indomie instant noodle texture also makes it suitable for noodle soups. Chinese, Japanese, Singaporean, Malay, etc all use instant noodles as a noodle option in noodle soup
INDOMIEEEE
Which flavor did you get? I love their new tori miso flavor
the classic stir fry noodle and BBQ chicken
Malay? It's indonesian
Ooooh. Never heard of those flavors over here
