I mean, I feel like this discussion has lead to new features and increased dev time and the new features don't even solve the issue.

The issue is that class 5 and 6 armor is extremely strong. This issue only exists because high-pen ammo is hard to come by and thus, we've reverted to only a few guns being viable, which was a problem before the recoil rework. Only high rate-of-fire SMGs and the SPEAR are viable, because of headshots or 47 pen ammo being readily available.

The solution to this problem requires almost no dev time at all. BSG needs to make high pen ammo available for a variety of calibers.

But BSG just won't, which is the problem.
