BSG made the RIGHT choice making this new edition, now we can easily separate the superheroes from the bottom feeders. What this will let us do is segregate the superhero profiles and the bottom feeders, solving the cheater problem in one fell swoop. Cheaters will not and cannot spend $250 dollars on TARKOV SUPERHERO edition, and will instead flock to the bottom feeder edition. This also solves BSG money problem, as they have an infinite money source from cheaters and timmies, while keeping servers for Tarkov Superheroes peaceful. This is a move in the right direction from Nikita and BSG. This will allow the game to thrive and get better in the future. Remember guys, we must be grateful that they added such an awesome addition to the game. Nikita was generous enough to make it cost only $250 when it was clearly worth at least $400. The future of tarkov is great! Make sure you support BSG by upgrading to the Unheard edition as soon as possible!

The reality is that BSG is in some kind of desperate financial situation. The wiggle that killed Tarkov did massive damage to the brand and it is still "that game with tons of cheaters" for most people.
They needed Arena to hit to recover their situation but it didn't. So now they're beginning to monetize as much of the game as they can to generate enough revenue to keep going.
The same thing happened to Bungie. Turns out, they were monetizing the hell out of destiny 2 because Sony was about to absorb the entire studio unless they generated enough revenue to keep a clause in their contract with Sony from happening.
So, if a company inexplicably starts monetizing the shit out of their game that once was very popular, the reason is always financial
