Save files are in your Anomaly install. For example C:\Anomaly\appdata\savedgames. You can copy that folder to a backup location and then go about your fresh install, copy them back over when you're done.

Hello all, wanted to replace the a9a1 anim to blindsides one, so i disabled the 9x39 pack in gamma and the anim mod that comes with gamma ovbiously, VSK seems to work completley fine, this does not any suggestions?
so i have this weird thing that when i load into my save and its raining lets say i do not hear the rain sound i have to open debug menu and load the rain weather and press play for the sound to come back? any way to fix that ?

I only see the horizontal lines/artifacts when using texture mods like ccon or misery based terrain textures, when I use ccon the trees have lines on them, vice versa for terrain texture mods, im confused

no, after, been playing on the same file for a few hours and after trying to go from army warehouses it crashes as soon as I enter rostok or load the quick save before the transition. An older save in rostok before doing Baba Yaga loads properly

If you're experiencing crashes after updating G.A.M.M.A. from version 0.9.3.1 to 0.9.4, open MO2, locate and enable this mod:
Pre-0.9.4 Saves Fix, inside the Alternative Addons & Patches category.
If you don't have REDONE mods, this "fix" is only a temporary solution. Starting a new game is highly recommended.

Could somebody please help me. Every time i open a certain gold stash in the outskirts my game crashes. I have the relevant part of the log file showing what happened. Remember that you cannot put Anomaly or GAMMA in these locations:

May, so this is odd. So the k98 fix didnt actually fix it for me. Apparently its any weapon mods. I spent the last two hours troubleshooting but after that crash and the "empty log" issue, any weapon mods prevent my game form loading. Kmack, RWAP, and Frostys all crashes my game on startup. Do you know what could cause this?

@wide crag To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. Launcher as admin;
2. Make sure all 4 checkboxes are enabled;
3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2.
This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.
- In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type
!backupin #🤖bot-commands. - If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.

I have a feeling you prefer HD for gamma? To be honest there's a lot of grounded feeling outfits in KVMA, and I downloaded it mainly off OperatorDrewski's links. But then there's some silly stuff too. Some of the pirate bandits for example. lol

Hahah, fair enough. To be honest it's a little detracting to me too. GFY is the closest I can imagine the game being how I want it, but it's very performance heavy and it seems to break some of the model bones.

Actually pretty solid. There's a full guide for how to install it on the GFY thread page. It's based off all the HD models of Stalker 2.
And if I recall right, there is a lower poly version that makes it play nicer on performance.

This is the install instructions from ERANDIS for all the specific files and mods to disable. I do also highly recommend the texture overhaul too, it makes everything look excellent.

I'm trying to unbind V from MCM to change the way you see your laser vs scope when I change the bind to a new key it doesn't work any reason why, the key I'm binding is Z. It lets me change it but in game V still works but in the settings it shows Z but Z doesn't work in game.
I don't have anything else bound to Z, I'm trying to bind melee to V and when I do that V works for melee and laser to scope still works on V. It seems like V is hard bound to Laser/Aim down sights switch. Anyone know how to fix this?

Heyy i installed the modular attachment system for gamma and enabled black market but the scopes dont seem to be appearing on vendors or on the weapons i loot off corpses, nor are any sights for that fact, how could i potentially fix this?
The setup for all the mods was done before i started the run, so its a clean slate

you still need goodwill with factions to have their traders sell stuff
scopes and stuff are sold on traders in base gamma, better scopes need higher goodwill with the faction
as for guns certain traders dont sell them such as sidorovitch even in BM in case you were wondering

They arent selling any scopes whatsoever.

@potent dune Anomaly has a limit of a total of 65535 objects (IDs) in the game. Whenever the game engine generates a new enemy with items, it tags the object ID number to the enemy unit and its items.
The same goes for traders & their items, every time you interact with the trader and visit a new place and kill an enemy and check their loot, you make the game engine generate ID numbers. If that ID number reaches 65535, the game crashes, and you won't be able to play anymore on that same game file, unless you "free" some IDs.
You can lower the amount of used IDs by letting items despawn or by selling/donating them at any trader.
Stupid question but how can i free id's if i can't get into the game, can it be done through the game files ?

For your information, I disabled the mods: 29 Duxs Innumberable Character 30 Duxs Innumerable Characters Kit Blackjack patch 31 Fixed Vanilla Models 32 FVM Nosorog 251 Better portraits icons G.A.M.M.A. Better Mercs Voices and restarted a game. That worked, but when I arrived at Rostok, I had crash #1. I was advised to reinstall KVMA, so I tried switching to KVMA, which resolved the Rostok crash, but now when I go back to the landfill, I get crash #2... any idea what might be causing this? ...

No, nothing is disabled for the black market, but while looking through the mods just now, I just realized there's a black market tab. I had activated 'economy' because a tutorial video said to do it that way, and the Freedom vendor had a weapon for sale, so that is related as well.

I have been playing all day with no issues and took a break. Came back to see the Gamma Launcher stating it had updates. Pushed the update and when it was finished, launched the game. I was able to get to the Anomaly Launcher, but when I click Play there, I see the little Xray 64 title picture, then screen goes black like its loading and then CTD. But no error message or crash report. Appdata log file is created, but is blank. Other steps I have tried. Reinstalling my graphics driver, deleting shader cache, restoring default.ltx. The one thing that almost worked was swithing from DX11 to DX9. Then it loaded into the ingame Menu, allowed me to select a Save file and started to load it before crashing again. Switching back to DX11 reproduces the initial crash issue. No red flags are popping on any mods (I have 583 installed and have been running fine with them for the last two weeks). I also just reinstalled/reupdated everything via the Gamma Launcher with no obvious errors popping up. Original issue still happens.
based on your previous dx9 crashlog, you dont have the dx8/9 mods profile enabled
That would make sense, but I only attempted DX9 as a potential troubleshooting step. I normally play with DX11. Would that still be affected my DX9 mods not being installed

I don't want to play with DX9, it was just to rule out other issues. DX11 is what I had been playing up until todays update, so I would prefer to keep it at DX11. I can go 9 if that is the only way, but I am trying to figure out what broke today.

Yes, all with no resolution beyond swithcing to DX9 worked a little better, but still crashed on gameload. However that sounds like I dont have things set for DX9 so if I can't figure out why my current game doesnt work, I will probably go down that route.

I recently updated GAMMA (a few days ago) and the KSG-23 has a weird model where the ironsights just don't align when you look down. Scopes and reddots are also terribly misplaced, making them basically useless.

I disabled the few requested mods, then restarted a game, it suggested priority 32 to me, it works but not on all the maps...
This is what my load order looks like. I have custom separator for mods that I install myself. You need to start new game with KVMA. Old saves wont work

After deleting ALL NPC from the game game is saving 50k of A-Life objects. I defently doesnt have 50k of stashed objects (3-4k max, considering every ammo part as singular object - not stack as 1 obj, but every part of this stack, im not that stupid). So its probably some garbage stacking anywhere else? Can somebody please give me a hint about where it can be? And what may have cause it?
Items lying on the floor and in stashes are also taken into account
All my items stashed at 1 location, and its maybe 3-4k of items (around 300s for every type of shell) so around 3k for ammo and 1k for everything else (gun parts, armor parts, etc).
I just scratching my head about what may cause this. I have deleting body's enabled btw.

Well my last save not from past couple days is 2 weeks back (IRL weeks), and there is 34k obj. I guess I fucked.
Cause its was normal in midgame and now its broken and I have no clue why. Unloading mods didnt solve issue.
I will try loot and sell all stashes, but it probably still will be around 55k obj, which I guess is not OK.

If you're experiencing crashes after updating G.A.M.M.A. from version 0.9.3.1 to 0.9.4, open MO2, locate and enable this mod:
Pre-0.9.4 Saves Fix, inside the Alternative Addons & Patches category.
If you don't have REDONE mods, this "fix" is only a temporary solution. Starting a new game is highly recommended.

1 more thing. When i switch to the grenade launcher and then back to normal ammo, when I go to swap ammo types from fmj to ap, the screen shows a selection for launcher grenades even though i am not in grenade launcher mode

Howdy, there's an issue. I'm playing Anomaly on DX9. Whenever I try to attach these scopes on saiga_12s_m1 (maybe second m2 variant also crashes the game ) the game crashes. What's the reason beside 3DSS? Is there any method to fix this issue? And what model file it requires? A scope's model?
what mods did you enable other than the 536 for dx8/9 profile
I've added these mods into game
Also I enabled black market (buyable gear). Maybe those scopes are not supposed to be bought by the player...
Upd: So, I tested the game without any third-part mods installed, in a pure DX8 and DX9 - 0.9.4 profile and the problem still persists, the game still crashes upon attaching a scope. I guess this is because of how these scopes are made only for 3DSS, but hence cannot be used in DX9?
I installed Modular Attachtment system and pizzas ultimate sight collection but when using the sights its not lined up properly. Anyone knows how i can fix this?
yea I looked in the configs and these files have the 1pn93 as an equippable scope on the saiga, but that scope hud is from 3dss

I have the same issue with 65k limit - I've been playing GAMMA for about 2 years and never ever exceeded 50-51k on very long saves and few days ago I got first 65k before BS... I transferred character + stash from that save to fresh game with added around 4k objects (from 28k to 32k), played for 2 in game days and already got 42k... For comparison on my "end game" save with like +30 in game days I was also at 42k. My log is full of this "script_zone" bloat like yours. Do you use modded exes, ALAO or anomaly scripts mod?

Played for a few days and had 5 crashes top. As soon as I disable brain scorcher and start moving my gear to Yanov I get this every time I use a guide (I guess travelling by foot would do the same according to discord messages)

Enabling debug and clearing squads from the map didn't help. Slept for 72 hours, literally the next map load caused another crash.
Additional mods are: Drop/Disassemble on press, NPCs cannot see through foliage, Unlimited Stashes Weight, Autocomplete tasks v2.1.5, Better Campfire Saves disabled.

Didn't really change anything. Weird how I used to fast travel quite a lot in the past few days and this only began once larger maps got unlocked i guess

After that it just crashes silently, no error window, no crash log, nothing.
I used to travel via guides for money but it seems travelling with Fair Fast Travel by map icons crashes less. Placebo? At least it's 1 less load screen from Rostok to Skadovsk.

I have this as well, on a fairly fresh save using modded exes MT and Optimised Vanilla Anomaly Scripts. My previous save, I played longer and hoarded way more on Next Gen Engine with no issues.

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

I've only got a few days on my save, a single hideout with a 300kg chest half full and an almost full workshop bench, stalker population at 1. There's no way I should be anywhere close to the ID limit. Can you share your modlist please? I might compare yours and the other guy's above if I have a chance.

So, going to guess that it's worth asking. I'm running this mod setup - and I am getting this weird issue where TOZ34 overunder has a weirdly offset sight picture. Looking at the TOZ34 config within gamedata/configs/items/weapons, it is not being replaced by anything. It's still the config file from "G.A.M.M.A. Weapon Pack".

Later today I will try for the last time to fix it by transfering character to new save without alao and scripts. Modded MT exes are way to good because of Nvidia Smooth Motion with bumps my FPS from 90 to 150.

Yes, but it's way better than lossless scaling that I used before. I can't really feel any noticeable input lag when with LS it was very noticeable

Quick question, whenever I open my PDA my game drops to about.. 10-20 FPS. The only real PDA mods I have are "Fatal Error" and "PDA Map Location Labels and Faction Icons"

keep crashing whenever trying to enter the great swamp, although there a save that suggest transtion into it after i crash, trying to load that save will also crash, this doesnt happen anywhere else, just when trying to enter the swamp, first one when trying to teleport into swamp, second loading the autosave transitioning into the swamp

in fact it's entirely possible that a broken gun mod is causing your crash, whatever is giving you the broken configs listed at the top = introduces broken items or breaks existing items. Then if the game spawns an NPC using any broken item in Swamps -> you try to move there -> game tries to load NPC with broken item -> can't and crashes

I don't see any new script_zone objects spawning with the PDA map locations mod disabled, but they do spawn with it enabled. However, there are still 60k+ objects saved so I don't think disabling it removes them.

Okayyyyyyy... apparently turning off PDA Map Location Labels is causing my game to crash, even when I turned it on, still crashes.

I loaded the same save with it disabled & enabled and did the exact same thing. Fast travelled to a location, then transferred to a new map. Both actions spawned script_zone objects with the mod enabled but not with it disabled. I'm going to keep playing to see if I crash with it off.
Trying a new game fixed it, however I guess I just lost my saves

After doing a couple quests and talking to 5 traders, my total objects reduced to 64.3k. Hopefully it keeps going down. Lmk once you're able to test as well

there should simply not be any errors reported in the base gun config of any well-made gun mod.

I'm one hour into new save (only latest modded MT exe for smooth motion, no alao, no anomaly scripts, no PDA map locations) and so far it looks good - zero "script_zone" bloat in the logfile. Do mind I just went to Cordon for Hip, then visited doctor and cleared Agro+MM on my way back to Rostok but it looks promising. If your save is already bloated with "script_zone" use this mod to transfer character + stash, you will have to redo all main quest/labs though https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/new-game-enhanced-character-transfer-mod

Installed Klondaik the other day, was running fine 0 issues then today anomaly just wont launch. After splash screen it just silently closes itself no errors, etc
Launching DX8/9 work fine, DX10 gives a shader compilation failed error, DX11 continues to just close itself silently.
Fresh reinstall of anomaly/gamma runs fine again 0 problems, add my other mods runs fine, add Klondaik and... it wont run even if i remove the mod and delete shader cache
