has anyone had an issue where if you pick up an item while your headlamp is on, the light from the headlamp sticks to the surrounding surface of where you picked up said item?
you can even move it around, but it wont stay on your character.
I have frosty weapon pack too. I am getting on cordon and I don't know what is this
i think its looking for a weapon kit that doesn't exist maybe

I noticed that when I use the keybind for switching between the scope and ironsights (V), it only works for one cycle of scope > ironsights > scope before the keybind ceases to do anything. As you can see, I don't think I have anything drastic that affects what's going on here. I checked with the mod author for MAS for Gamma and they don't think the mod is responsible for this.

any ideas why no enemies seem to have ammo in their mags when I grab them? I'm also using one key weapon controls and the part of it which said enemies should sometimes have ammo in their mags up to 60% based on faction but It doesn't seem to be taking effect?
Update: I haven't figured it out yet but I have discovered that pressing B to lower your weapon resets the cycle once. Maybe that's related somehow, but none of the mods you see here have anything to do with that

But unfortunately, swapping attachments (like a silencer) breaks scopes all together. it doesn't even revert to a regular scope like you said. However, the save and load thing does remedy this.

You donβt need to recheck everything, launcher installs the correct patches anyway.
They are just not ticked in MO2 whenever you click reinstall.

hello anything one having this issue with scops ingame i dont know why i cant see through scops even AA is off in settings and SMAA off also
ok now my game crashes whenever I crouch, just loaded up a brand new save and yeah, I checked and its specifically my crouch because I switched it from ctrl to numpad 4 and it crashed both times

I recently added KVMA Hd models to gamma and disabled the mods needed. But my numbers for resistances and the hunger/thrist/sleep have vanished. Anyone by chance able to help?

Hi folks, I found out that the Barrett M98B gunshot doesn't play when firing. Is there a fix for this, or a way to report it to the author of the mod?
I also got the latest files of GIMP, 3DSS and Oleh's Weapon Sound Tweaks.
If it also helps, this only occurs when you have a suppressor for the sniper.

@tropic kite I've created a new game as a Merc. Dead city loaded + I tried going to limansk then back to dead city successfully. Seems the problem is with the save file. Any ideas how I can fix it? Additionally I can add that I have a base in dead city with furniture, chest, freezer, lamp and etc.. Don't know if this could be the issue
that's the problem - the older the save is, the more Things That Could Go Wrong multiply
at that point i legitimately would write off that save
it's just not feasible to pin down what's causing the crash
could be NPCs (though unlikely), could be an issue w/ the map, an issue with a changed texture in the map, an issue with literally ANY item in any of the stashes you have
and there's no way to pin it down since the log is empty/gives only a human-unreadable error
When I started playing yesterday the last save was from December. Dunno if Project inverno could've fucked up the saves. I've been to Pripyat, Outskirts, Jupiter, Limansk, Zaton and now trying Dead city since installing again. I feel sad writing off the save since I'm like geared a lot.

Not warfare, just normal playthrough. Happened once in Truck Cemetary, and then in Rostok. I wasn't doing anything in particular. Both time the error was identical. It seems like A-Life is spawning an ISG squad offline (ISG never spawns in Rostok in GAMMA).
either you added the "break your PDA" mod (linked above), OR you turned on the "PDAs break" checkbox in ZCP. In MCM -> ZCP -> Main -> disable βBroken PDAβ option

643 total, mostly mainstream mods like latest SSS, CCon, FWP. I'm trying to isolate it now. It appears like it might be related to Dux's Innemurable Character Kit

I think I found the issue. D.I.C.K female expansion is not compatible with current D.I.C.K.
SSS Alpha with DLSS from Patreon Discord. I may have reinstalled the v23 when troubleshooting another issue.
Dot marks 1.6 was newer than the GAMMA version I had.

I mean, it works. Plenty of female stalkers in the population with the mod enabled. But it apparently tries to generate female ISG stalkers that don't exist.
you can try and delete that part of scripts but it may make isg to not spawn at all

I'm assuming the reason DotMarks is disabled by default is that it sometimes stops working (fixed on reloading) and displays a white rectangular box in the top left when a companion is too close to you from behind?
mostly because of fps drops but thats kinda fixed with newer version from moddb, idk if gamma uses the one from there

Having massive fps issues with warfare.. Like within 10 minutes of a new session. anyone got ideas. I started as unisg and its spawned like 30 soldiers in that time and all warfare settings are unchanged currently

[yapyapyap. this guide is meant for people who want to enjoy air toxicity for underground only, want to enjoy 'radioactive air' mask filters without the toxicity, enjoy overground air but want to maximize your hideout experience, etc. this guide is meant to be as simple as possible, so no "am i gonna break it" is possible if you follow closely. this guide is meant for windows users, i assume there will be common sense alternatives for other OS users. yapyapyap]
first open MO2. find your 'toxic_air_v', right click it and find "open in explorer". go to gamedata> scripts> toxic_air.script
open toxic_air.script with notepad. press "ctrl" and "f" on your keyboard at the same time (ctrl+f). a search box will open.
to find the commonly known names for the levels scroll down to the section just under local toxic_level, and find "-- Display names for levels (used in item descriptions)" (good to know because cordon is called 101_escape, and so on) ALSO, "106_rostok" IS NOT ROSTOK, 106_rostok IS WILD TERRITORY. 105_bar IS ROSTOK!!!!
Adjust toxic air by level.
type "local toxic_level" then hit the button that says "find next". to adjust the air toxicity in each individual level, find the level name and the " = number," to the right of it.
change the number to set the level's air toxicity, this does NOT effect the radiation levels. make sure you arent accidentally changing the wrong one. be sure not to change anything else.
the number should look something like this when youre done with it: = 0.05,
- no toxicity; = 0,
- about 44 irl minutes to lose health from full to dead without any protection; = 0.055,
- medium toxicity; = 0.25,
- high toxicity; = 0.5,
- maximum toxicity; = 1.0,
PRESS "ctrl" AND "S" AT THE SAME TIME TO SAVE YOUR SETTINGS. (ctrl+s)
(if you delete a little bit of the gap between the level name and the number it should be fine, just try not to.)
Adjust proximity of clean air around safezones.
safezones are also adjustable, allowing you to expand or shrink the radius of breathable air around a safezone.
to find it, open up the find box again (ctrl+f) and type "local safe_smart_radius"
the numbers in this section represent the safezone breathable air radius, NOT the toxicity level. the safezones are listed by level but i have no guide to which safezone is which. you will have to figure out which is which for yourself. i recommend increasing all of these by about 20 to 25, as there are many spots where it feels like toxic air is 'leaking' inside, making some safezone hideouts half unlivable.

@lime vigil "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions, common signs include:
- Broken health HUD (all red)
- Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
- Crashing on area transition
- Can't open inventory
Highly recommend turn on412- Busyhands Detection and Blame - RavenAscendantmod to detect if it is really busy hands, and if so then which script caused it. Also keep it on to prevent further long term busy hands that make you lost a lot of progress. Noted that it can't 100% detect all busy hands, so common sense is still the best way
If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work anymore, you'll be in permanent busy hands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #βπfaq message

only mod I found in base gamma that changes weapon world positions is Frosty's NPC Weapons Reposition
His weapons are everywhere now, there is probably a leftover file. I've seen it happening on several guns. It is not isolated
Regarding the fix, if I use draggable HUD editor isn't it to fix the positioning for me? Would it extend for NPCs as well? Because the weird positioning doesn't help with me, I tested the kiparis and it is alright in my HUD.
you need to select Switch person mode to see world position
and then after you're done, hit Apply. the values are saved in Anomaly\gamedata\configs\cache_dbg.ltx

you can't just turn off 2 shader mods. you need to reinstall a lot of mods in the modlist since they depend on those
well you can also use dx8/9 modlist on dx11, thats also disable sss and a lot of other shader stuff, if you want performance but follow #β°β‘fps-optimisation first then try that

Thats why you crash! KVMA HD need a NEW SAVE. You disabled DICK armors mid playthrough and the npc spawn with DICK armors but DICK armors are disables so the game crash
so how do i fix this
Remove KVMA, re-enable DICK and te rest of the mods you diabled for KVMA and go to the SAVE before you installed KVMA
Start a NEW GAME only with KVMA
Only KVMA, not 29- Dux's Innemurable Characters Kit - DuxFortis
When you install KVMA you need to disable some mods!

Hello the dot marker mod isnt working, and as suggested before by one of the mods here i have moved the mod down the mod order list : and also in game looked through the mcm settings n keybinds and even tried this option which doesnt work either (IVE FOUND A FIX FOR FUTURE USERS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM! in the mcm, in the dot markers section under the advanced tab theres an option to "ignore anomaly's HUD state [hud_draw]" turn that on and itll work

Kept a full list of every mod I turned on, and every mod I turned off. Reset it all back to base GAMMA, its still happening.
Deleted Shader Cache, still crashing.
I thought I found one mod that caused it. It was the optional "300- blood pools" mod. Game started crashing right after that, and when I disabled it again it got back to working.
But later after enabling more mods, game kept crashing at start again lol

I'm gonna throw this one out there on the 1% chance that anyone has a clue what this is while I continue figuring it out, but for some reason my knife makes zero noise when slicing into enemies, except for when it's against psuedogiants, which plays the slashing sound just fine.

It doesn't, and that's the weird thing. I have isolated it as something in the sound folder of the Dark Signal mod, and not a script (which makes it extra surprising given the strange behavior of certain mutants still retaining knife hit sounds). I'm on the newest demonized EXEs with the alternative DLTX refractor though I don't think it's relevant, since I had been dealing with this issue even before I switched.
My first 2 suspect sound folders was for gamedata\sounds\material\knife, particularly the flesh-0X.ogg files. And also the gamedata\sounds\monsters\flesh flesh_attack_hit_0.ogg and flesh_attack_hit_1.ogg
Somehow, these were not the culprits
Any resolve on this? Just installed fresh Gamma (long time since last time) and enabled Anomaly Magz and ATHI's Mags (disabled the things I needed to disable so should work

Weird. Well, I tried to see if I could anger FDDA Redone by not enabling the original FDDA or FDDA enhanced and eating a sausage, but got nothing. It didn't even play an animation at all, let alone crash.

oh btw if anyone is having troubles with psuedogiants not having ground slam sound effects, and you use audio expansion (which requires you to turn off Oleh's miscellaneous), then be sure to take the slam sound from Oleh's mod and slap it into audio expansion (if it's silent)

olehs mod works flawlessly on base gamma tho
I'll put it in audio expansion thread just so that slam sound can come with the install instead of this cross-mod custom rigmarole

it's been so odd, cause the first day i got the game the only thing i eventually did was add that mod for the photo of an even more loved one, launched it fine that day with the mod, then the next day it just would not open

If you get the error 1364 "The application made a call that is invalid...", try the following in order until the error is resolved:
- Try restarting your PC.
- If restarting your PC does not help, try disabling the applications with overlay (Discord, MSI Afterburner, etc.) as well as applications like Wallpaper Engine etc.
- Install DirectX libraries (type
!depsin #π€bot-commands ) - If disabling software does not help, temporarily switch to DirectX 9 (use
!dxin #π€bot-commands for instructions on how to switch).
After a certain amount of time, you can try to revert the changes and switch to DirectX 11. The bug may be fixed.

Dx9 is last resort but if none of the things mentioned help then yeah thatβs the only option afaik.

3. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A. and wait for the install process to be done;
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make sure that you have #π577-mods-in-mo2.
This procedure does not remove saves, you're not going to re-download everything from scratch and it will not delete your progress, your saves are safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall or fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated - will be updated.
- In case you want to save your in-game settings and modlist (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type
!backupin #π€bot-commands. - If you wish to keep Reshade, disable the last checkbox before clicking

Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.
Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

there are so many flaws in your modlist that i would just recommended you to start reading at first and then delete your custom mods and try again
