To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:
- Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
- Uncheck every box EXCEPT
Delete Reshade DLLs - Click on
Install / Update G.A.M.M.A
Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.

Why would a psy-storm seemingly last a very long time and halfway through it make the screen go pitch black even when near a fire or with flashlight/nvg on? Psy-storms seemed shorter and worked fine before, but this particular one glitches the screen every time, eventually ends, and the screen stays perma-black.
I reactivated "Unjam Reload on the same key" but now my reload key is F10 and I can't find the keybind to put it back on R, I didn't find it in the normal settings or in MCM.

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.
If you are playing with MAGAZINE MODS:
- Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
- Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Reload Weapon & Put PDA Away") and the Unjam command ("Reload weapon/Unjam Weapon/PDA away")
- Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")
- Make sure your outfit actually has a slot that fits the mag (hint: PPSh drum mag is Large, the starting Sunrise suit has no Large mag slots)

Yo dude. I figured it out. Turns out I didn't need the files that the mod page said was required and I just had the mod load as mod 408. I also did the RWAP 3DSS and the patch and magically everything worked just fine. Weird shit. Thanks again, sir. You were in fact a big help. You at least directed me to get the 3DSS files which clearly I did need and after trial and error on both our part I was able to figure it out. You did good man. You steered me in the right direction and were patient enough to deal with my ignorance on a few things. Don't feel down, and hey I didn't even have to re-download any base files from the launcher, so win, win. Again, you were awesome 🙂

Video quality aside, when I move the camera, It'll do this stutter jump affect, even with fps sitting at ~60 (screen recording made it worse). Is there any known fixes for this in particular? I've installed "Turn this on if you stutter" And turned off Core 0 for affinity

It also causes lag. Problem is there is no point in polling rate above 250hz, cause that is already 250 times per second
and it can fuck with the game engines and cause massive lag/stutter or low fps

How do I make their headlamps less bright? It looks like a beacon. When there's more than one zombie, it becomes impossible to kill them. If they look in my direction while I'm using night vision, it looks like a flashbang. Even without night vision, it's VERY bright, I can see them hundreds of meters away at night.

Hey friends, I'm having some trouble with the "Arrival" mod. Is there any reason why the "training day" quest won't progress when fanatic is meant to tell you to grab the jellyfish artefact at the start of a loner playthrough? I go to the anomaly site but I can't get fanatic to have the dialogue option to progress. It works just fine if I boot up a new save with Arrival disabled.
EDIT: Never mind, I just kept disabling and reenabling the mod while starting a new game each time and eventually it just started working 🤷♀️

Well no idea besides checking your install, don´t use the mods so the only tip I can give is to check your installation.
I just enabled Mags mod and AOE but its not because of AOE cus Ive tried running the game without AOE and textures was still bugged

there is no "eft gun mod" that comes with GAMMA - this is something you must have installed previously.
Uhm maybe it´s a problem with "Maids HD Icons"?
But I am also confused why you would need to activate the "EFT gun mod" the only ones with "EFT" I see are the ones in the screenshot and they should be activated by default

updates do not delete existing custom mods, they only disable them and put it to the end of the order. if you had previously installed mods, they will still be there unless you delete EVERYTHING in the GAMMA/mods folder

Hey guys, so i installed Re:Done collection (both parts) and Re:Done combat ai mid-playthrough, and now when i load a save i get all of these errors, but the game doesn't actually crash, and i cant save at all, is there any way to resolve this?
all i did was load myself back to my last save and game just crashed

1). Go inside your Anomaly folder
2). Open the appdata/ folder
3). Backup the folder called savedgames
i have never used arrival, its up to you, balance it however you think is good
im not worried about my saves right now, mainly just trying to get mods sorted out before i start a playthrough

Well, like I said, it isn't even running unless I manually start it(which I haven't done in months already) and it has all the active security features disabled on top of it so I doubt that's the issue
I still doubt my dormitory's wifi because they censor some of the gaming related sites and that could mess with the entirety of downloads during update when I've done it. Could MD5 check with the extraction options unticked help me on a different wifi if I tried to run the update again and check for all the potentially corrupted addons?

It could be internet issues, Some corrupted files need you to redownload the downloads folder or the entire github assembly , that depend on the crash you get. right now you can try the fix i sent and hope it doesnt crash anymore

Did someone had this problem, after playing around with some mods, there is no dialogue for recruiting a companion. If I force-recruit through the debug menu I can talk to them and give them instructions. But there is no option to recruit someone through regular dialogue. When I start a new game, everything works. Is there a way to fix my save?

To recruit random stalkers as companions:
- Talk to the leader of the squad.
- The size of the squad must be within your limit (by default you can't have more than one companion at the time).
- Your rank value must be at least 1.5 times higher than that of the squad leader.
- Squad leader must consider you friendly (depends on your rank, reputation, faction relations and more).
Requirements 3 and 4 don't apply to paid companions, but they are rarer overall and can only be found among Loners, Bandits, Mercenaries and Freedom.
If you wish to be able to recruit more stalkers, in-game, open Mod Configuration Menu > Custom Companion Squad Size, and drag the sliders found within to the right.
Not sure but try to load arrival after weather expansion?
And clear the shader cache again.
Oh and just in case: did you install the weather expansion patch in the Atmos install?

Nope. I had once one on this save file (paid), then I let him go. I tried recruiting one through the debug menu, just to see if its a bug and if i force recruit a new companion and let him go it will reset everything... but no luck.
i mean the mechanism is plausible enough, the logic is sound, proving that this is in fact the exact reason why is tricky, takes a while, and is frankly kind of unnecessary - we can observe easily that this crash almost always happens if the user 1) has an anomaly measurement task and 2) an emission occurs. we can fix it, we don't need to know 100% that the emission caused it. does that make sense?

Okay I can confirm I did not have that patch installed, I reinstalled it with that option turned off just to make sure. But it turns out what it seemed to be, at least in part, was some edits I had made in my Anomaly user.ltx. I removed it and created a fresh one from the Anomaly Launcher and there has consistently now not been any weird colors. So Im *fairly * confident this has been fixed now
Debug can screw with shit really badly as veer already explained so as they said you can search the EGUI thread for "companion" see if that turns up with something.
It finally runs without crushing now but in fps so little I can get an eyebleed. Gotta run the Md5 anyways, perhaps some other mod is corrupted that causes this

Launching results in a black screen for a split second and then the game closes. Logs are empty. I've installed the enables mods in the screenshot. The game worked last night with all these mods enabled, and the only thing changed is me installing ReShade because the launcher hasn't been installing reshade lately. I uninstalled ReShade but the game still won't launch.
The only mod removed/disabled is Dynamic Anomalies Overhaul due to conflicts with Arrival

also, pretty sure the issue is to do with the S2 icons mod
Yeah, just so you know this only appears with world render distance at 0-1 ticks from the left of the slider.
At 2+ ticks it goes away. I assume it has something to do with the fog/haze the game generates to hide the culled rendering

reinstall s2 icon mod, only select that option ("armors"), then press "replace" when it asks
I installed new icon's framework and MartinMore icon mod. Disabled other preinstalled icon mods as instructions suggested.

can anyone tell me how to make it so npcs shoot me if I loot their kills? I enabled the mod "211- NPC Loot Claim (NPCs will kill you if you loot what they killed) - Vintar0 & Nullblank" and "231- More Aggressive NPC Looting (harder game, do not use with NPC Loot Claim) - Demonized" but it doesn't do what it says. I even tried downloading the original versions of the mod and it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how I would be able to enable that feature/script/setting?

@cunning ermine "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions, common signs include:
- Broken health HUD (all red)
- Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
- Crashing on area transition
- Can't open inventory
Highly recommend turn on412- Busyhands Detection and Blame - RavenAscendantmod to detect if it is really busy hands, and if so then which script caused it. Also keep it on to prevent further long term busy hands that make you lost a lot of progress. Noted that it can't 100% detect all busy hands, so common sense is still the best way
If you have it, reload an older save. Eventually this may not work anymore, you'll be in permanent busy hands, then it's time to start a new game. Read more here: #╭📖faq message

Im using this weapon with a grenade launcher, but rebinding the under barrel key does not work, no matter what key I use. (ive tried ones that dont conflict with anything and yes, i do have a fitting grenade in my inv)
check Settings -> Modded exes, I think there's an option to combine the canted sight/UGL keybind again. Try re-merging that keybind and see if it works if you do that

my theory, which i'm pretty sure was right, is that your original crash was caused either by missing/corrupted weapon files provided by 3DSS or the 3DSS weapon patches (disabling 3DSS would mean none of the weapon patches get used, so disabling 3DSS for GAMMA would appear to "fix" the issue)

I had the same error with the dump, but after playing around with the order of the New Level mod, it seemed to help.
so i had project inverno and i deleted it and i keep seeing this is there anyway to fix it or the only solution is to reinstall gamma (when its up again)

- Bring your modlist back to default (type

Turn this on if you stuttermod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS - Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm
- In game, go to
Settings > Modded Exes > Optimization > Lua Garbage Collectorand increase this bit by bit until microstutters/freezes stop. Default value is 300, people seem to find that 750-800 is the sweet spot, this will depend on your hardware
**DON`T DO **1.Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in 🤖bot-commands ) though.
"!default" includes using the launcher and that will fuck your game since its dead.

FWP should not interact with artefacts, lass 100% does not so I guess its talker?

yeah nothing, tried disabling a bunch of shit to no avail, even older modded exes didnt do much, seems like these saves are just corrupted, just gotta load a earlier one and hope it doesn't happen again

Im having a problem where my game will crash on launch when i enable a 3rd party mod that goes by "modular attachment system (for gamma)" and all the error is, is just "unhandled exception" and all thats in the log is this

I'm having a problem happen during The Living Fire task where I get to the ending and have to shoot Prometheus with the Gauss rifle, as soon as the shot lands, the game crashes with no description as to why. Is the mission not completeable or something?
The only added mods I have are for non Copyrighted music and Weapons don't Jam on Full condition
I haven't tried it myself, but from the other mentions of the quest I've seen, I believe it's bugged to always crash at that point.

I'm not 100% certain on it, so you may want to wait for someone to confirm, I just know that it definitely has had issues in the past. I did see someone when I searched that said they were able to do it without crashes by spawning in a fresh gauss rifle. #🔨base-gamma-support message

I see that it mentioned to not use the No62 rifle and use Gauss Rifle, which is the one I chose for the job, so it's not due to the No62 I imagine
