Restarted my game to a previous save before I 1) Killed some important NPCs from bandit faction and 2) Set an NPC as waypoint on the PDA and then ran up to them. But my NPC map markers are still disappearing, so it's probably not that.

This definitely happened after I crossed the treshold into the north, because I hung around a little around Rostok and Dead city after turning off BS and none of the NPCs there had their icons disappear.

Try any one of these at a time (in no particular order) to see if it helps:

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

I receive this error when starting a new save as Freedom, unless I spawn at truck cemetary. I'm not using any disabled mods, but I do have Blackmarket enabled, and I disabled the player-character voice mods listed in the FAQ. I've received a few other errors before this, but they went away on their own, although I doubt they just magically fixed themselves and I assume I just haven't triggered them again... somehow 🤷‍♀️

It's AO (ambient occlusion) which you can adjust or turn off here:

reinstall whichever mod was supposed to provide your wpn_l96_firebreath_hud_animation.omf file. since you don't HAVE that file, you either have to pray that someone else in here happens to remember somehow, which mod has that exact file, OR you can guess based on your own list of mods you added.

It is not disabled, but those files are not present there. They are present in the Gamma Economy mod folder though (but not the "G.A.M.M.A. Economy (don't disable, turn on Black Market to buy gear)" mod folder.)

Something is wrong with your installation, as these files should be in this folder.
The Gamma Economy mod which is in the custom section is **not enabled **by default.

Here are these two files, you can put them into mods\G.A.M.M.A. Economy (don't disable, turn on Black Market to buy gear)\gamedata\configs\items\trade\presets next to trade_presets.ltx.

It should work, but since your installation was missing these two files, I wonder how many more files you are missing in other mods.

I hope this is the right channel. I am having a weird issue both with GAMMA and Anomaly. The game freezes during loading. I can get to the point where the game tells you to press any key, but never shows the prompt. I have found that if I delete the shader cache, the gamedata folder, or change mods in the load order, I can successfully load the game once. Then any subsequent loads, the game continues with the same issue. I am unsure what the problem is and I have completely reinstalled both GAMMA and Anomaly from scratch, tried troubleshooting to see if its being caused by a mod or not, and the issue persists. I am running an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X and a AMD RX 7900XTX with 64 gigs of ram.

Okay so I added those files before, and it did make the error go away, but then this new error showed up (I had this error before when I first installed the mod, but it randomly went away, but now it's back I guess 🤷‍♀️ ). hey, I'm running GAMMA + EXP + a couple other unimportant mods and for some reason when I press caps lock with a pistol I take out my detector

caps lock is my lower weapon button and it works fine on weapons that can't have the detector out with it, i.e. almost anything other than a pistol or small smg, but it takes out the detector if I have a pistol or small smg, knife, or nothing held

also, i don't even think this is possible, but my detector is not set to the same button as my lower weapon bind. There are also no conflicts in MCM with the caps lock button. my detector is set to the default bind, 6

Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Hello again, I got this problem That keeps happening and I don't know what's the cause. Game just fails to launch after one day.

Got the game reinstalled, got exes updated with reshade enabled, game ran fine until today.

gets past anomaly x64 image and small black screen, then the game just closes.

shader cache is not made, and log file is 0 byte without words.

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.
If you are playing with MAGS REDUX:

1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
2. Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Put away PDA or reload") and the Unjam command
3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

• Make sure your outfit actually has a slot that fits the mag (hint: PPSh drum mag is Large, the starting Sunrise suit has no Large mag slots)

Hey, I'm having this little problem. I enabled the loot anomaly. There's no crash or anything. However, when I open a loot box, the main HUD disappears, and I have to reload again for it to reappear. This crash happens whenever I save in Agroprom, quit the game, and then come back and load a save from Agroprom.

If I start from earlier, when I'm in garbage for example, everything works A-OK, but IF i quit game and come back, it will not load.

P.S. -- As the log mentions, I was able to identify where the 'm_controller_normal77764690' is mentioned -- It's in the 'GAMMA Mutants Overhaul' mod.

Im trying to troubleshoot a Crash I've been having by disabling my mods one by one, I only have a couple mods installed, after disabling BHS Realistic Overhaul I get this error. I've tried reinstalling a Clean Gamma, but my safe file still errors on load.

The ID number listed will change, So Parent ID, Entity ID, and the Frame number will change. I've had it crash before with the same empty stack trace, I left the area and it was fine. Its something with being in combat, it always crashes right as I kill someone

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering, and set Low Latency Mode to Ultra in NVIDIA control panel
4. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
5. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)
6. Activate the Turn this on if you stutter mod to alleviate stutters while losing some FPS
7. Consider looking at #╰⚡fps-optimisation for a performance boost, if that channel is locked go here to unlock: #⏩start-confirm

No no, what I was saying was I only had the crashing issue when I was recording. Now that I’m not recording I can’t reproduce the issue. So I think the OBS software running in the background tanked gamma and made it crash during my travels at times

So, I have this mod called 'without decrease reputation', which I assumed let me take on jobs for opposing factions without any impact in reputation.

So i disguised myself as Military, and met Col. Kuznetsov and took a bunch of jobs from him, and immediately finished his 7 Bandit Patches job.

But then I got this message on my PDA, saying that ecologists didn't take that information well. First off, who even went and told the ecologists 😛 hehehehe

Right so here's what I did:
I enabled Anomaly Magazines Redux, disabled the Unjam thingi, booted up Gamma and started a new game, the error happened
I disabled Magazines Redux, enabled ATHI's Mags Redux, did the same thing but it worked even tho there weren't any mags in the game at all
I re-enabled Anomaly Magazines Redux, left ATHI's on and now it works perfectly!

What could f*ck up some guns aim and hand position ? Hey so this is gonna be a bit of a big one, I really appreciate any help anyone can offer. But I've been trying to get Stalker Gamma to run for the better part of 4 hours. I had a build that worked but I wanted to try to add some texture mods and reshade stuff to make it look better. I ended up on a super long cycle of reinstalling the game several times over completely wiping the files in both my Anomaly and GAMMA folders. I've reinstalled both Anomaly and GAMMA. But now every time I try to boot GAMMA I get "Shader Compilation failure". However, I can load Anomaly normally just fine without GAMMA

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I think mine is bugged, when in rain/cloudy condition done and switch to clear weather its change instantly, not like IRL slowly change.

I'm no expert..but Gamma has it's own health system. You installed another one on top of that? Did you make sure it's compatible and if not, did you disable the correct ones?

Yes. This mod redesigns the GAMMA health system and makes it similar to the EFT health system. It seems that I have installed everything that was necessary for their compatibility. At least I followed the instructions.

Try turning down your memory intensive settings like texture or prefetcher. Memory errors is pain because it doesnt show why or how it crashed so you cant debug it

@sullen ridge To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Turn your anti virus and firewall off (Defender, McAfee, Norton, etc) temporarily to just update / download the GAMMA mods and when done, turn it back on.

When turning off your anti-virus and firewall it should look like this:

To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

1. Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
2. Uncheck every box EXCEPT Delete Reshade DLLs

Protip for the future: use profiles to easily revert to the default modlist. There is a button above the mod list. When you have a working 518 mods profile, save it as GAMMA. After that go to Profiles > Manage > copy the GAMMA profile and rename it to GAMMA Custom or something like that. Start adding mods only in this new profile.

You can try running the game in debug mode, open the debug map (F2 in the main menu), hit F7 and 1, pull the AUG 9mm, see if aim position is still wrong. If it is, hit F7 and 5, make a screenshot of the coordinates. I will compare them with mine.
