Hello guys, I'm getting this error everytime I try to load into my save. Any ideas? (Pre 9.3 save) Someone said it's because 207-Mags Redux is enabled but it's not. Anomaly Magazines is. But I think 207 Mags was enabled a while ago on this save?! Maybe it's because of that?

Anyone know about a bug that causes a crash when entering a specific map? I've been getting this since the update. Any time I go into the swamps the game crashes. Looking around online, others have had the exact same bug, with the exception of the specific location being different. One guy can't enter Limansk, another can't get to Yantar, etc. Can anyone help at all? I'd appreciate any advice/suggestions. My home base is set up in the swamps and now all my shit is off limits because I can't even enter the map. This is the error that we've all been getting:

I haven't tried that yet, but I think I might have to try. I hadn't done it yet because some of the other folks who have had the same problem have reinstalled it and didn't fix it. I might get lucky? hi guys i want to play stalker again but dx11 is little bit too laggy for me. last time i have run it on DX9 everything was fine but in very late game when I had lot of stuff and everything, i couldn't get into Pripyat east. Some error was jumping out. that something is miising. and someone from here told me that it is because i was playing on Dx9.
All my commitment to the game has been ruined. And now the question is: Is it fixed or is there no point on playing on dx9? I have to but new computer so i can play on dx11 or what

Ok. So after working this through I've determined enough about my issue to post in here and ask for help.

issue: Once the radiation grain affects appears on screen it never goes away. It gets weaker. or stronger. But it stays on screen and never dissapears when moving to new areas, quick travelling, resetting settings, restarted the game, etc. Once the radiation affect appears. It stays for good. The only thing that removes it is starting a new save. I didn't realize the first time that it was doing this until I started a new character. The game looked much much better to me. And then I got to a radiation affect zone. It started. and then that was it. it never stopped. I had that weird pixellation that happens but its much more subtle. It makes distant areas look absolutely terrible. And it simply wont go away.

I have done the no radiation affects fix. I have undone it. I have installed a no radiation grain fx mod. And run it with and without it. So that fix does nothing. Currently the line postprocess = postprocess.rad is commented out as such ;postprocess =postprocess.rad in my ltx file for gamma radiation dynamic areas. I have just checked it right now. It's still commented out.
(the couple of times I have mentioned this issue someone inevitably posts that despite me putting in my text that I have it disabled already. sometimes more than once lol. It's bold this time.)

I have tried disabling the radiation mods. But this doesnt fix it. The issue seems to just stack so that the screen looks absolutely terrible and ruins my pretty graphics. And its like that way forever after the save encounters the radiation affect. I have no idea why this happens or how to fix it. Does anybody have any ideas?

@hollow vapor hey imma just reinstall gamma and everything else. i think its better to do that instead of trying to updating gamma, as the anomaly game is outdated by 1 version. and wouldve created more problems than it would fix. im currently writing down all my mods on a notepad to make it easier to install all my previous mods. thanks for your help though, i got my ltx file copied down so i will have all of my settings saved

It's ambient occlusion. but specifically. there ssome kind of problem with I think sss settings here. After lots of testing the thing that has minimized it to prety much go away is using specifically hbao on high in the settings.

When I have it off. its pretty much gone but there a little but. but the worse lighting makes it still kinda obvious.
SSDO and HDAO make it far worse. HBAO has very little. and turning the settings up makes it basically not really noticable. in addition using atmosR++ helps smooth it out more as well. I guess the only real way to remove would be to possibly remove sss settings because it has ao settings that seem to just stay on. But I cant be 100 percent sure and I'm not testing it.

DId someone encounter this crash before? Just crafted fridge so my meat doesn't spoil, placed it. You can put food inside it, but every time you close the menu, it crashes the game. After relaunching (I have crash saves on), items are still in the fridge, so idk wtf is it. Log and modlist included, even tho I don't think any of it should interact with hideout furniture, except for ammobox fix which worked fine on previous gamma update.

@smoky fern To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

So, the gamedata folder in ANOMALY isn't the true gamedata folder ...

Go into your GAMMA folder and go into mods .. you'll see that THAT'S where ALL the GAMMA MODPACK mods are actually stored ...

These get cross-loaded onto the ANOMALY game (using its base files of course) .. and what MO2 does, is basically loads the mods one-by-one into the game ..

That's why if it sees any file in let's say mod 20 for example, that is also there in mod 40, then it will load the LATEST one from mod 40.

Has anyone ever encountered this weird grass bug? When I first load into the game it appears fine, but once I travel back from another map (ex. Dead City > Army Warehouses as pictured), it does...this. I've noticed it only seems to occur in Army Warehouses and Yantar but there are possibly other locations

I've even gone as far as doing a fresh reinstall of the game because it's plagued my game since before the December patch, and it's been driving me nuts lol

@austere sphinx HOLY SHIT I FIGURED IT OUT. Hilariously enough, it was caused by the "anomalous plant" decoration from the hideout furniture mod lmao

I donated all of my plant decorations to a trader, slept until the trader's stock reset (picking them up in my inventory alone didn't fix it), and then deleted the shader cache each time I restarted. Narrowed it down to the anomalous plant and voila, no more ugly grass!

hi, im using the aek and the scope is offset, i've tried clearing the shader cache and restarting my game and pc, anyone know how to fix this?

sooooooo i waited for the shops to reload and now theres no mags XD do i have to enable the add mags to traders mod?

my guess is that it overwrote the mags being added as its a different script for trader inventory in comparison to GAMMA's Original no?

@wise osprey "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions, common signs include:

  • Broken health HUD (all red)
  • Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
  • Crashing on area transition
  • Can't open inventory
