Encountered a very strange bug when interacting with the weapon shelf. When I hold F, the weapons I put on the shelf are shown and then I hear sounds like if I put pick up ammo. I not only dupe the items in the shelf. I also fully repair them.

The placed items are then no longer visible in game ... but still inside the shelf when I opening the stash UI for it.

I can take out the items and place the ... broken items inside again. And repeat .... to infinitely repair and dupe all my broken weapons.

... Okay tested this again. It seems like the "dupe" only happens in the UI and the weapons are actually not duplicated. Probably because of the unique IDs weapons have. The weapons are however fully repaired. This bug also works with the pistol shelf.

Hey guys. I'm comming back to gamma after 8 months. As far as I know, my last update was the second anniversary one (still use the old launcher).
If I understand correctly, I'll need to "remod" my gamma install if I update with the new launcher? As far as I remember the only extras i've added is ADEGA and reinstalled Aydin's to change the season.

Is it really that simple? Am I missing something? Kinda scared of fucking my save up...

actually just realized you are probably using UGP with 3DSS? idk how compatible they are, I use 3DSS but not UGP, but I think you might want to check if 3DSS is higher priority than UGP (aka 3DSS is lower than UGP and therefore overwriting)

Guys, i've got an issue. Yesterday game all good, woke up this morning, no windows updates or anything. Opened the game and every save has this (hp bars and all red and won't update even with H button and blurry PDA).
Game crashed when a grenade i threw exploded near an npc with the error in first screenshot.
If i try to teleport to another map, it takes the money but doesn't tp, if i use the normal map change via green zones to move from a map to another, game crashes.

Also second playthrough with same mods and all, without changing a thing, around 100h total and only got this issue now, so really can't tell what issue might be.

@broken mortar "Busyhands" is the name of a bug that softlocks your game by preventing you from performing basic game functions. Common signs include:

  • Broken health HUD (all red)
  • Can't do any animated actions (use meds, eat food)
  • Crashing on area transition
  • Can't open inventory

Only use after trying other common fixes, like running another install in the launcher.

  1. Go to \Anomaly\appdata and open user.ltx with a text editor.
  2. Search for snd_cache_size and snd_targets then reduce their value from 256 to 128
  3. Launch the game and open the settings.
  4. Click Visual then Advanced.
  5. Slightly reduce Texture detail and Object detail.

Crashes at startup. Installed a bunch of addons, all according to the instructions, but it crashes. I can assume that this is because I accidentally deleted the shader cache when running through the launcher. Help fix it please

I can start the game just fine but whether I remove the mods I added onto gamma or not once I try starting a new game (After choosing my loadout) and going through the loading screen, the game crashes and gives me this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Side note. I also deleted the shader cache as per instruction of another mod. Brand new game/save as well.

So, after playing a while I started to notice that I don't receive any snork hands after killing them to complete Hip quest. I enabled debug mode, checked every mutant part I can spawn, but there were only snork mask and snork leg. After that I decided maybe I can bypass her quest using something like task_manager.get_task_manager():give_task("") and checked scripts for Hip's quests and found out that there is no script for second quest (third quest comes right after first). I created new character, completed toz part, she gives a few replicas, but no continue of her quest, no marker, no quest in pda. Don't know what to do.

If your Scavenging skill level is too low, items have a chance to despawn from the bodies you loot:

  • F-1 grenades (100%)
  • Nosorog exoskeletons (85%)
  • Cz-M10 Spartan helmets (50%)
  • other items except weapons and armor (0.25-4%)
    To avoid the despawn your Scavenging skill has to be level 17 or higher.

Additionally, in order to loot an outfit or a helmet from a body a certain rank value is required. The requirement is almost negligible, rank value as small as 7000 is enough to meet a rank requirement for any equipment.

Who knows how to fix this problem with 3DSS? Add-ons put, modified exes also put, but the game still crashes when taking weapons from debug mode.

With addons on weapons only standard Boomstick and repositions of automatic rifles from IWP, animations of AK rifles from Gunslinger, and animations of pistols.

DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Squads Extended (Mod 44). It has been disabled due to a multitude of bugs. Also DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Kill UNLESS TOLD TO, even if when it's disabled and you see a crash and the error references "bounty squads" or "bounty squads" is in the log.

If you meet one of those two follow these steps:

  1. Enable GAMMA Bounty Kill (under GAMMA Fixes)
  2. Launch GAMMA (You may get an immediate crash, this is fine, relaunch)
  3. Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value.
  4. Disable GAMMA Bounty Kill.

Is there a way to fix my guns position? The gun is Mangun's SR-2M SMG and whenever I have the gun at my hip it is super far back, where I can barely even see the barrel. I think gun is part of UGP

So I have 2 issues:

  1. Some scope just bugged, the red dot is off the scope for some reason. I also include what scope has this issue
  2. VSS Vintorez "Venal" is broken, crashes the game upon firing. I remember RD-939 is also broken, but maybe got fixed I dunno

Have some other mods and disabled mod installed but they are unrelated, thought I should mention that

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  1. Download the mod from #πŸ”¨base-gamma-support message
  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
  3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.
  4. Click β€œOK”. Name it however you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
  5. Enable this mod.

Some of my icons are HD but others are extremely low res. Patches and a lot of misc crafting stuff are really low res, I'm using UGP and KVMAS/Azetrix models, could these be a factor?

Whats going on with the scopes here? ive been trying to fix this for a little while but i cant figure it out. This only happens with the pso1m and the 1p "tulip" scopes which certain guns only allow these sights. every other scope is 2d and works fine but these are the only 3d scopes for some reason and obviously i cant really use them, not a huge issue as i can just use other guns but just wondering if anyone can help me out here. Using kvmas/azetrix, arrival, retrogues weapon pack, adega textures, and black market mod.

@ruby pulsar Anomaly has a limit of a total of 65535 objects (IDs) in the game. Whenever the game engine generates a new enemy with items, it tags the object ID number to the enemy unit and its items.
The same goes for traders & their items, every time you interact with the trader and visit a new place and kill an enemy and check their loot, you make the game engine generate ID numbers. If that ID number reaches 65535, the game crashes, and you won't be able to play anymore on that same game file, unless you "free" some IDs.
You can lower the amount of used IDs by letting items despawn or by selling/donating them at any trader.

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.

If you are playing with MAGS REDUX:

  1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
  2. Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Put away PDA or reload") and the Unjam command
  3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

1.) Go to your GAMMA\downloads folder and delete ScreenSpaceShaders_Updatex.x.zip (x.x. means version number, and yes delete them all if you have multiple of those zip files)

DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Squads Extended (Mod 44). It has been disabled due to a multitude of bugs. Also DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Kill UNLESS TOLD TO, even if when it's disabled and you see a crash and the error references "bounty squads" or "bounty squads" is in the log.

If you meet one of those two follow these steps:

  1. Enable GAMMA Bounty Kill (under GAMMA Fixes)
  2. Launch GAMMA (You may get an immediate crash, this is fine, relaunch)
  3. Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value.
  4. Disable GAMMA Bounty Kill.

2) the launcher shows version 6.2.0.0.

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with Beef's NVG (Before you ask, yes, I'm using DX11) in that the animation of the NVG turning on and the sounds are there but the screen remains unchanged. Anyone know what might be causing this? (Checked and no other mod is overwriting Beef's except "Massive Text Overhaul Project")
