Trying to use the most recent github version of Mags Redux to fix some issues I was having with juan's guns but I can't seem to fix this error upon game launch, I had already followed a !command I saw prior about replacing some anomaly folders with gamma's and some .dll but it didn't do anything

translating all the similar issues I've found in the russian support channel seems to have a trader related mod enabled but I don't have mags buyable from traders on shrug

To bring your mod list, settings and keybinds back to default, inverting any changes made by you:

  1. Open the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher with admin rights
  2. Uncheck every box EXCEPT Delete Reshade DLLs
  3. Click on Install / Update G.A.M.M.A

Note: If you wish to keep your keybinds and graphical settings, go to Anomaly\appdata and backup user.ltx.

Hi there, for me Sid has no buy stash coordinates option.
yes, i have 450 mods active,
have added Carry weight slider, Xenotech protects cordon base, Companion carry weight tweak, Unlimited stash weight, Turn this on if you stutter, Npcs cannot see through foliage, 2D scopes 32-9 resolution, No npc friendly fire, Personal adjustable waypoint, Mcm values(2x my own and the default).
I turned off Fair fast travel and No trade with random stalkers, Npc loot claim remade. I think thats it, was LSZ AI tweaks on by default?

Have you updated your launcher to V6?
The launcher is updated if:
1) in [YOUR GAMMA FOLDER\.Grok's Modpack Installer\resources] the same folder and file structure as in the screenshot below.
2) the launcher shows version 6.0.0.0.

should be in the anomaly or gamma files and its normally named with numbers indicating date and time or it will be labled log. it will be a long text file with time stamps mainly ones that say failed/failure near the bottom

Don't verify stuff with the Anomaly Launcher, you're using Mod Organizer 2 to launch the game and to manage the mods used in GAMMA.
The error you'll get is harmless and doesn't mean anything, that's not the problem you have with your game.

@ornate zealot To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

althoughhhhh I only use my own version of the trader profiles from Shine + Awry's fixes because I read somewhere that they were incompatible with latest Mags Redux. That was probably before the fix you linked was made. Do you know if it fixes the bug when extendo mags turn into regular ones?

If you don't know what caused a crash, don't just reinstall gamma and load up your mods on it immediately make sure gamma runs first after your install and then slowly add mods back

Hey, just trying to set up the optional magazine's mod, I've enabled and unabled the required mods ( i hope ), started a fresh save, binded the reload button to the correct button, and yeeeeeet whenever I hit the reload bind, all it does is just holster and unholster the weapon I have equipped. Any pointers on what could be the issue? In the meantime, I'm gonna try to figure this shit out.

If you are playing vanilla GAMMA: your unjam key = your reload key.

If you are playing with MAGS REDUX:

  1. Make sure you disabled the "GAMMA Unjam reload on the same key" mod
  2. Make sure you separately rebind the Reload command ("Put away PDA or reload") and the Unjam command
  3. Make sure you added magazines to your loadout (alt-click or right click -> "add to loadout")

Glossy hands can't be really fixed because it's caused by new weather presets in the atmospherics addon

you will need to untick the large files - team and tick the GAMMA large Files

On another note, the fact that so many mods seem to not be loaded on your installation is pointing towards doing a install fix, you are likely to keep running into issues as it appears your base GAMMA is set up wrong.

You can try to do this, be aware it will reset items

We are on v6 now, and the older launchers cannot update gamma properly. So get the new launcher then just run it as admin, leave options on default, and click "Install/Update"

Instead, do this:

1) Go to GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata

3) Go to Anomaly\appdata and paste the user.ltx there, and replace it.

Hi! I have a little problem. Whenever I try to get to Pripyat from Jupiter, my game crashes and I get this error. I'm not sure if the problem is related to some kind of mod. Hello fellow stalkers, may the zone be merciful on our souls. So, I am writing here because of the mp7. Recently I fixed an mp7 that I got from the Brain Scorcher (Best level in the game <3) and I was kinda weirded out because it didn't had a foregrip (Also because the foregrip shows in the weapon icon,so my brain was like,damm).So, I went out to try to mess with the mod organizer options related to the mp7 in the search bar. Didn't quite work, but I found in moddb a mod that kinda was what I was looking: "MP7 REPLACEMENT - ANOMALY 1.5.1" by PYP. I disabled the other mp7 mods and just enabled this one after instalation. Kinda worked,but the mp7 was kinda small in the FOV, so I tried installing "MP7 REPLACEMENT REPOSITIONED" by Zazquatch and it looked now great. Even got to have the stock extended. The only thing was that the gun couldn't be equiped in the melee or vision slots and was rechambered to 9mm. I fixed it opening the weapons files and manually changing the size number to 1 and change the ammo type to 5.7. Now is kinda the real problem that I came here to ask for help, because I kinda hit a wall. The gun reload sound is not synched. The sound timing on the magazine pull is right, but the magazine insert is desynched. Where can I find the Mp7 reload sound file so I can replace It? If someone has the original reload soundfile for the "MP7 REPLACEMENT - ANOMALY 1.5.1" I will be deeply thankfull. Thanks for the attention, good hunting Stalkers.

Another busy hands crash related to tasks_guide.script from GAMMA causing busy hands during Last Dawn quest. Was looting a dead military soldier at the time. Just a report I don't think theres a solve for this.

YAWM in general is a old addon that isn't supported anymore, we don't even have proper list to disable in order to work with GAMMA without any issues

i ran default gamma everything fine. followed all instructions ive downloadedit before. Then i installed kvmas and sss following all the instructions on sss desc installed the anomaly version of atmos and then then when enabling the mods i followed the instructions and read the info on the different options on every mod i enabled and now i disabled campfire slowly heals mod and it seems to be fixed since i was trying to look at previous messages with same problem

i havent installed any other mods after my messages only thing ive done was disabling the campfire healing mod and it seems to have fixed it but its kind of extremely confusing trying to follow instrutions on posts made years ago with fixed linking to wbesites and convos that dont exists referencing different versions of mods that i can still find so thats why i was asking here trying to understand how to fix this kind of stuff.

Why do we have these mods in the mod list if we can't activate them?

Because G.A.M.M.A. is STILL IN BETA.
NO, Grok can't simply remove these mods. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.

If you really want to use stuff that is disabled by default, forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

  • "Turn this on if you stutter" is obsolete and actually ironically increases stutter (theoretically). At best it does nothing for you
  • Black Market is already in GAMMA, don't double-download, just use the one that comes in GAMMA (and is guaranteed to work with it)
  • YACS is always enabled so... I'm kind of confused why you had to re-enable it? Same with Area transition without confirmation, and NPCs Stop Looting Dead Bodies, they should already be on
  • Minimalist Companion UI is entirely overwritten by GAMMA Minimalist HUD (also should already be on)

Did you make this modlist using an up-to-date default GAMMA modlist as the basis or have you been reusing the same custom mod preset for a couple different GAMMA versions? This also causes issues, best to redo your custom modlist every time there's a major update that changes mod load order in GAMMA (i.e. when the #📍577-mods-in-mo2 number changes)

DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Squads Extended (Mod 44). It has been disabled due to a multitude of bugs. Also DO NOT ENABLE Bounty Kill UNLESS TOLD TO, even if when it's disabled and you see a crash and the error references "bounty squads" or "bounty squads" is in the log.

If you meet one of those two follow these steps:

  1. Enable GAMMA Bounty Kill (under GAMMA Fixes)
  2. Launch GAMMA (You may get an immediate crash, this is fine, relaunch)
  3. Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value.
  4. Disable GAMMA Bounty Kill.

hi there. i'm experiencing a crash upon attempting to drag and drop an artifact onto an LLMC to seal it. i added two mods, (Outfit Animations and Helmet Animations by lizzardman) enabled a few unchecked mods, (Compass instead of minimap, NPCs cannot see through foliage, Blindside's knife animations, mags buyable at traders, ammo check, demonized death animations and mag redux.) and disabled two enabled mods. (GAMMA Unjam Reload, GAMMA Reliable Animation Settings)

You need to locate the file "icon_override.ltx" and edit it with notepad or something, then search for the "adrenalin" section, then make the suggested edit.

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:

  1. First try to close the Gamma launcher, and run it as administrator again, click install/update and see if the error is gone.
  2. If it doesn’t work, close Gamma launcher and go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and run git-bash.exe as administrator.
  3. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter. (picture for reference below.)
  • Note: Pay attention to what you copy, if the line has spaces in-front, or is missing characters at the end, the fix will not work.
  1. Now close the git-bash and run GAMMA Launcher as administrator again and click install.
  2. You might have to repeat these steps for the next 2 git folders, aka:
  • gamma_large_files_v2
  • teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger
