i've updated my game today to read 444 mods and its working great. But my problem is that everytime i try to load into or transition to Jupiter it crashs and tells me to check the game logs for details. The log file is extensive with details and not sure where exactly it is capturing the info of the crash.

if you're finding the crash log in your anomaly folder > app data > logs > "xray_save game file name here"

scrolling all the way down in that text file you can find the FATAL ERROR section with the actual crash log

What does this mean: I save, I play, and after a while I realize that I cannot load the save because it crashes. I have to load some previous save, sometimes I have to go back quit a bit to find one that doesn't crash...

I don't think your crash is related to the DLTX errors. I get those even in default GAMMA and it doesn't affect the game for me. What I would do is use something that can search inside files (e.g. VSCode) for "collection_far" and the mod folder it's in is your culprit. I did that just now in my copy and "collection_far" doesn't appear anywhere, so it's def a custom mod's fault IMO

Well for me it's caused by Weather Revised mod which probably in conflict with another shader mod (I find it mostly due to Soundscape Overhaul, reported by other people), so I disabled and it works fine

I probably won't be much help but while I'm in here... That says utils_ui.script is trying to do something with a on line 1225 but a isn't a thing. Here's what that looks like. It's in a function called UICellItem:Reset. That's for UI stuff like icons (e.g. for the inventory) and such. So if you were doing something in a UI when it crashed, or you recently installed a mod that's UI related, that would narrow down the cause. At least that's where I'd start.

Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

I'm using Mags redux, and I'm trying to use the 60 round 5.45 AK mag on the AK-74M "Venom", but whenever I reload to another mag in my loadout the 60 round mag gets converted into a 45 round RPK magazine. It makes sense as to why it's happening since the base magazine size for the venom is 45 rounds, but I don't know if this is intended behavior since it kind of defeats the purpose of the Mags mod.

this includes Night Mutants ok that one isn't down there any more, but my point stands, don't enable stuff in Disabled category

nah sorry double checked. the version of Night Mutants under 'Newly added addons' is on by default, and doesn't generally (generally) cause that error

it's also extremely hard to diagnose crashes without knowing what you changed about the modlist, so... what did you change about the modlist

ok. well... right now either you try to figure out one by one what's causing the crash. or, you reset your modlist to default with the possibility that this causes your save to not load (because it depends on items added by mods that are now disabled)

(Maybe this is an easy question and just requires someone who understands codes/languages) I'm looking for someone who uses the ANUS mod (Gamma Modpack) in combination with this mod -- https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/anomaly-151-track-stalkers-using-their-name-v10

I've been using the Track Stalkers mod throughout my game, but combining it with the ANUS mod makes some names (like the single-name Renegades) unfindable. Does anybody know why this is/how this works? Figured I can always ask. If I look up a Renegade named 'Blight' for example it will give me 'No stalkers found with this name' even though it's in my name lists in ANUS. It can find dual names easily. Seemingly ANUS' mod author used the STX sign to 'give' stalkers just one singular name, but I have no way of replicating that STX sign ingame itself to find them. Anybody any ideas? (OG mod author hasn't been active in a while, so no dice there)

Single names (at least by default) usually have a main story purpose and are not counted fully as roaming stalkers you can find. I'd say ask elsewhere as people who are actually playing the game aren't in modded support

The weird thing is -- I can find the single-named story purpose stalkers like Wolf, Sidorovich, Noah, and so forth. But the ANUS mod gives Renegades a single name as well by adding STX text protocols to make their first names 'blank' -- and this translates ingame to them having a singular name. The problem with this is, is when I type in their names in the search box for the Tracking mod it comes back as 'nothing found under this name'

I've asked both mod authors but neither have responded thusfar which leaves me in quite a bind sadly. Newbies-chat also isn't the solution to questions like this 😦

I do think that is the exact issue the mod is facing -- as it does not recognise non-story stalkers with 'single names'. I think you've hit the nail on the head. Since the space is 'empty' (rather than a space typed by spacebar or an ALT+numbers combo) I don't think the game knows how to register it. I've tried patching it myself, but my coding knowledge fails me which is why I as hoping to see if anybody had any ideas haha. I'll try fidgeting around some more and see if I can try to solve this. There might be another way to give them singular names.

@modest nexus To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

hello everyone! So i've updated my game today to read 444 mods and its working great. But my problem is that everytime i try to load into or transition to Jupiter it crashs and tells me to check the game logs for details. The log file is extensive with details and not sure where exactly it is capturing the info of the crash.

i couldnt find the Fatal text in the log. I was pointed out before that its at the end of the log for my crash details.

Sorry I couldn't answer or give more info at the time. My resolution ingame at the time was 1280x720, I tried increasing to 1440x900 but no luck, it's still bugged. (this is a response to the post I made about the "Compass without minimap" not working as intended, answering it now because I couldn't at the time, sorry for the very late response)

I managed to fix it

It seems the version in GAMMA is outdated, the most up-to-date version is called "RAVEN800'S ENHANCED COMPASS" (don't know if I can link it). But both this version and the one in GAMMA aren't compatible with Dx8 and 9

But there is a version that is compatible, it's called "RAVEN800'S COMPASS OVERLAY V2.0.2 FOR DX8 & 9"

I tested it and it's working although the Body Health Hud doesn't work at first, I quicksaved then loaded the save and the BHS Hud started working again.

Also, my monitor is 1440x900 but I use the 1280x720 (only ingame lol) resolution which is 16:9 so it should have worked the first time no? I am also using Dx9 so that may be why the version included in GAMMA didn't work at first

yeah these error numbers don't really mean anything. to be able to help a custom modlist, we need the full modlist/list of changes and the actual error message, or ideally the Anomaly crash log, at minimum

Alright, so I followed the instructions correctly, and also installed Shine's Mag Fixes mod, but still no luck. And after playing a bit more, it's not just the 60-round 5.45 mag either, but I also lost one of my fast-loading 5.45 magazines as well. Really weird, tempted to just go through the process of getting rid of the mags mod completely .

It also might just be the venom AK that's affected, so I might try to fix up a different AK and see what happens.
