the only workarounds I know to simulate what UGPB offered right now is for vendors to not sell weapons like GAMMA intended with Trade Destockifier (disabled on MO2 by default)

Grok doesnt really care for compatibility without some mods, unlike most modders. you could just add checks to NOT crash your game when you dont have PBA. It was not done at all

before I go digging into my plugins and such to investigate if its a conflict. has anyone ever had a total system crash when starting a new game as monolith? this happened to me once before and I can't quite remember what I did but Im fairly certain both times, I started a new game as monolith, and I was in the outskirts region, I'd spawn, get to play for about 10 seconds, and then I'd hear the windows warning sound and my screens would completely freeze and I'd have to power cycle the PC

Having an extra slot for a sub compact gun can be useful when you're carrying guns with expensive ammo and just need a mutant dumper this works in regular GAMMA even without UGP.

Google says it should be the "home" key. That isn't working for me though. Has anyone experienced this issue? So, In the waste processing station in Zaton, there is a merc mechanic named Kolin. I brought him all the crafting kits, but as of today he is Supply lvl.1 and does not hang around by his vice anymore, and instead patrols a part of the station. Refreshing the trade inventory doesn't do anything, neither does respawning, which just results in him having a few bullest to trade. Can't really figure it out. Does anybody have an idea on what's up?

yup, that is the problem, i have met that error once before
so all you have to do is
1: Enter your save.
2: Go to the "Skills Expansion" MCM menu, check "purge_ut_skills" and click apply. The game makes a new save for you (this mean you will lost all Skill Expansion level).
3: Exit the game. Uninstall the addon files.
4: Enter the game and load the "purged_skills_expansion" save.

After uninstall it, you can reinstall the skill expansion mod again but this time without the lockpicking trait, then load to the purged_skills_expansion save and it should do the trick

I just had to power cycle my PC because of this fucking bug I get every time I'm Jupiter or Zaton. I don't even know anymore if it's busyhands because that would at least be caused by a mod, but this only happens in Jupiter or Zaton. PDA gets blurry. NVG stops working, screen just gets blurry. Can't save anymore. I try to reload a save, the game crashes. I don't even know what else happens, because it usually crashes by the time I notice this stuff. It's like walking on fucking eggshells. It doesn't even start when I load in anymore, sometimes it just comes out of nowhere, and I have no clue how to fix it. I went through my modlist to find mods that could break it, I check the crashlogs but I have no fucking clue what I'm looking at. Does anybody know what is going on? Like, I just played in Jupiter for 30 blissfull minutes straight without trouble. Then I go fetch a yellow stash in Kopachy and keep going towards the easter part, the game freezes, my PC freezes, I have to powercycle it. Second attempt I don't even make it to Kopachy. Third attempt the same. Fourth attempt the same. And it's not just there, it happens all over the place. Can anybody make sense of this?

How to change fast travel settings (cost, time passing, etc.):
When in game, go to Mod Configuration Menu -> Fair Fast Travel and tweak settings there. By default, fast travel costs money and causes hunger/thirst to rise while guided fast travel allows you to travel while overencumbered, and does not cause hunger/thirst to rise.

P.S.: with debug mode enabled, you can teleport to stashes, level transitions and other map spots by right clicking on them when you check the map on your PDA. You will have to enable Travel to map debug spots in Fair Fast Travel's settings first. This can be deadly, use with caution.

Ive got an armsel protecta aimpoint with an integrated red dot sight and the red dot isnt there anymore. I havent disabled any mods or added any mods before this happened. I tweaked some options when turning the graphics down a bit, are there any settings that could have broken this?

An interesting point to add is I can see the red dot a little if I swing my mouse side to side fast enough. I think its just been forced off center somehow?

  • Increase texture detail to 3/4 or 4/4, or enter texture_lod 0 in the in-game console, and then restart the game.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

  2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod

If you have "dubious ownership" error, do the following:
0. First try to close the launcher, and launch it as admin and click install/update and see if the error is gone.

  1. If it doesn’t work. Go to GAMMA/Grok's modpack installer/resources and launch git-bash.exe
  2. Copy and paste the indicated command line from the gamma launcher black window ('git config --global --add ...') to the git-bash.exe window and press enter.
  3. Launch GAMMA Launcher again and click install.
  4. You might have to do this for the 3 git folders, aka Stalker_GAMMA, gamma_large_files_v2 and teivaz_anomaly_gunslinger

I keep getting a bug where sometimes when looting stalkers game crashes with a text saying get_enemy, second bug I get is sometimes after looting or interacting with nvgs they don't work, pda is blurred, and game crashes upom saving, is the first one solvable and is the second one the dreaded busy hands?

anyone use the unlock companion inventory mod? realized one of my longtime companions stole my armor when i moved it from my character UI, and once I saw thier whole inventories realized they were hoarding gun parts, which i have passed a lot of to them in the past. What I'm wondering is, are these gun parts "mine" which I tossed them and for some reason the game thinks they should keep them? Or is it normla for NPCS to have a ton of guns parts in their hidden inventories.

i notice in my logs, this it not breaks the game but a bunch of these:

I manually installed the newest versions of Atmos and SSR, as when I installed GAMMA tonight it downloaded older versions of each. I believe I did this right and the game is functioning properly so far, but will the GAMMA launcher β€œrecognize” them for update purposes in the future?

reveal in explore
and it will open up where the file is located
if it is grayed out then its hidden
