Uhh keep getting this error when I kill stalkers sometimes
happens when you kill mechanics. don't know what causes it, only that it's common but not 100% guaranteed

I don't think a mechanic is even there
then /shrug no clue. errors that reference vanilla scripts are nearly impossible to diagnose.
I might have fixed it, might. Think an older version of mags redux was being mixed with a newer version

right, so now it's back to the DAO thing, the Gunslinger command wasn't someone helping you, it was some random person trying to see the bot command for themselves
so I'm asking again - did you install any mods that would interfere with DAO? Like the Arrivals mod in #1035807043933720576
I haven't touched this game in ages but thought I'd boot it up again all I've done it fully update my game, I did download the gunsliger mod that was posted by that bot command

Looking for guidance on safe removal of some mods starting with the Black Jack Mod.
Safe to Remove?
Fire-mode switcher = Doesnt work.
Doom-like weapons = (stalls reloading weapons either new or idle).
Auto-Looter = Disabled in-game by default, but tied to PDA taskboard which I use.
Immersive Skinning = Doesn't work or I have the wrong knife? I can loot, but no animations.
Ishmaeel's kill tracker = No minimap dots but has more options than just icons. Unsure all it modifies.

Right. I'm simply looking for anyone that has modified these and could tell me. I'm patient as I test the spawn settings still so instead of adding more to the mix by just clicking things on and off, I asked. But thanks for responding with the tips. what mods you got enabled or disabled??? one of the things for this channel is to specify all of the overwrites that could be there
if you running a default modlist with no changes to mcm or other specific game settings, jus copy n paste yo user ltx from the appdata in anomaly folder to your desktop and then just do a install/update. after all that paste the ltx to your anomaly folder

There is a mod called Ammo Check I think needs to be on too.
It says not to have it on unless you have MagRedux IIRC.
I wanted it but realized I didnt want the whole magazine thing, just wanted to knwo max ammo left easier than the radius wheel pop-up thingy.

I don't know exactly how the mod works but from what I'm understanding this ammo check tells you how much ammo you still have with a text

i enabled RAW weathers, and it was working fine, then i change my sun ray mode, and its been non stop white, and i tried changing it back, deleting shader cache, etc.. nothings working
weird. if it was dx8-9 then understandable why your nvg doesnt work.

NVG's work after I quit game (not exit to windows) and reloaded the save.
I also use the deault AtmosGAMMA shader. havent dove into that section of the game just yet.

because on dx8 campfires are always lit up
Mine were not lit (stormy) but I know I can ignite them even when raining.

Alrighty. Beef's NVG's tweaks are awesome. Got them just the way I like...still being able to use flashlights for a nice clean but slightly horror-esque look too. So nice.
Not sure what caused them to stop working and the campfires but I can't reproduce it.
Although the Infinite Battery Glitch was a sad find.

Hello, I was previously getting the Shaders compilation error, disabled Atmospherics shaders, now I'm getting this error before loading into the main menu. Have HD models Lite and Mags on. Have updated three times, deleted and downloaded large files

anyone know why my minimap isnt working? Im using dynahud too
I updated the other night after seeing one was available in the launcher, but then my save crashes on load, with a popup like the attached. i followed the !largefiles instruction, restored my backed up mod settings, and relaunched - I still crash on load UNLESS I have '314 - Retrogue's Additional Weapons' mod enabled in mo2 (even though I've never had this enabled). I'd rather not introduce this additional mod if i don't have to - any suggestions?

Hi, so basically i installed gamma and it works fine on new games, but when i try to go back to my previous saves from anomaly 1.5.1 (no patch) i get errors which seems to be caused by previous mod i was using before gamma.
I looked at faq and bot channels but i didn't see a way for my saves to become compatible with gamma. Any clue ?
you can't use Anomaly saves on GAMMA, and you definitely can't use Anomaly 1.5.1 saves on GAMMA
You aren't even supposed to install GAMMA on a modified version of Anomaly, leads to many errors

Hey guys. Has anyone encountered weird shading like this on the ground? It's no big deal, but I wanna know if there's a solution to it yet. It's been there for a while, since I started playing Gamma months ago.
I'm guessing it's because I have an AMD GPU and it's glitching out with Anomaly.
Modlist modifications: disabled Gamma economy and Gamma Economy BaS Injections. AKA, it's vanilla economy. That's it.
I keep getting this crash when killing enemies, regardless of faction. I don't even know what kind fo problem it is from the log, does anyone recognize it?
Also, has anyone here tried bodycam mod with Gamma? I'm curious how it'll look. I think it's a reshade preset, but I wonder if it's possible to combine it with Gamma's current Reshade setup.

Looks pretty neat! The UI is skewed a bit due to the fish-eye effect, but it's still readable. The shader somewhat fucks the performance for me though. Not unplayable, but noticeable.

I think there's a mod to make mags visible in the HUD. It might even just be a setting in MCM.
Should I simply use ZCP Stalker population or A-Life Overhaul's Stalker population sliders to reduce the amount of squads spawning in? My frames are being murdered right now because the game is spawning obscene amounts of NPCs and squads.

Okay, I started a new game after messing with population settings and it seemed to fix the issue.

I had a similar problem if i'm not wrong it you may be using the updated new BaS with the old gamma magazines, i fixed it by getting the latest one on github. don't know if that will fix your problem but it may be worth a shot

G.A.M.M.A. Reliable Animation Settings disables those as well as skinning and backpack animations. But they are not recommended to use since they cause busyhands.

i do not think so, since mask overlay mods tend to interfere with the BHS HUD
im not worried about it, i can just disable and enable BHS overlay by pressing H so its no big deal

Question, I'm using the GAMMA ultimate gun pack, and it seems traders are only selling moddes scopes that aren't compatible with most guns. Is this a bug, or what should I do

Yes, I'm clicking details and checking the compatible attachments, which are standard NATO optics, and the trader is selling a modpack version of that same optic which is not compatible
did you install Gamma UGP properly or did you just install the zip and check the box and just hope it worked

I think it's \ for Mini-map and there is a keybind in Settings > Control > Keybinds > General > Toggle HUD that allow you to toggle HUD options.
I'm told that setting has been overiden. You can make adjustments in your mod config in pause menu. The bottom one "ZCP"
Press the right side enter key or the fwrd slash next to the right shift key.
Got a problem at random my game will completely freeze, stop responding and doesnt allow me to do anything on my computer.
yeah thats basically just a crash, you need to press the windows key so that the task bar comes up, and then you need to click the "task view" button, then open a new desktop at the top, open task manager, and you can force close anomaly.
if you dont have the button, right click on your task bar and enable the "show task view button"
I was having that issue randomly but recently its been a lot better. these are the non "oem gamma" mods im using for reference. I noticed that the weapon part durability color mod will crash your game if you open the workbench to swap parts out of a gun so I have it disabled. otherwise, perfect mod.
right ill try that next time, it only crashs after a certain period of time ingame and when it does I can only alt-tab into a black screen that allows me to close anything except Gamma
Have you tried pressing start tab to create another desktop when this happens? From there you can possibly get into task manager and regain main desktop functions. If it'll let you.
How do I get my old compass back? I've selected for it in MO2 but I still have the disk map in bottom right.

Not sure if anyone knows a fix for this, using HD models and I have Dux and all the other vanilla texture mods associated like that disabled, and when spawning in most locations, it crashes telling me that It cant find models specifically from Dux. Yes you should check the faq for any questions you might have. It amazing. Also, you have to manually add your magazines to your loadout with LeftAlt+LEft click and drag ammo onto them to load them.

It didn't crash before because it's the first instance when treasure manager or whatever else calls for 3-use kerosene

it's not that "it suddenly crashed from nowhere", it's that your modlist had a ticking time bomb and it finally went off

It was exactly that. I didn't realized there was an error on this mod in MO2. Delete the dynamic anomaly overhaul and relaunched the updater. Now it works juste fine. Big thank you @tropic kite !

How to automatically set process priority to high and disable cpu 0 with affinity for G.A.M.M.A. without tools:
1) Using Mod Organizer, create a shortcut for the desired DX version (click on Shortcut button below Run and then click Desktop).
2) Edit the shortcut (right click -> properties) and in the target box, prepend the following %ComSpec% /c start /high /affinity fffe.
3) Delete the quotes and path modifying "[YOUR DISK]/[YOUR GAMMA FOLDER]/ModOrganizer.exe" to just ModOrganizer.exe.
4) Click OK, launch G.A.M.M.A. with this shortcut, Profit!

The stutter is a long one, frozen screen, no audio. Then, the audio comes back, I can hear what's going on around me, the sound of my character walking, switching guns, etc. If I try to pause, the game fully crashes. I usually just end task in the manager. Don't know for how much longer I can last. The game is all but a Save Game Simulator.

Anyone know why the kar98k won't sight in after I take a shot? I have to hipfire in order to aim down the iron sights for its 3rd shot. However, if I stay sighted in after the first shot, it seems fine.
Wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if it's something just on my end.
I've also tested where I'll shoot one round with the Kar98k, swap to a different gun, and I can't sight in with it either until I hipfire a round. Really weird.

ZCP is populations and A-life is how many stalker/mutant interact i think
but take it with a grain of salt since i never messed with zcp/a life settings
Army Warehouses keeps spawning way too many Freedom squads and my frames drop below 20
Respawn time is 1 day and ZCP population is 0.4
also need to change stalker population factor in the general setting

Offline combat to off, dynamic anomalies off. and minimise stalker population factor
I'd prefer Offline combat to be on to add some extra chaos
But before I had GAMMA, I've never had an issue with too many squads spawning
it's because gamma were never meant for warfare and doing warfare mode is basically like creating your own mod
I reduced population before already and made a new game, seemingly worked, and then I came back to Army Warehouses after being in Wild Territory, and the squads spawning are obscene

there should be a setting to decrease how many spawn in a zone, check warfare tab in setting
Have you checked #β°β‘fps-optimisation ? and also check cheeki breeki youtube on framerate optimisation too
Use default preset if you have changed warfare settings
i added mags redux, turn this if stutter, and inventory weight revised and added my own music. Is there a good reason as to why im crashing?
forgot to add i also changed the condition of how much efficiency an artefact condition have after i picked it up

Settings mostly affect how new stalkers spawn, so you'll have to delete existing squads, start a new game or just wait some time to see the difference.

Almost certain you can adjust weight values in MCM in GAMMA. Maybe I am wrong though.
This addon gives ability to use repair tools more attempts of usage. Like if normally there is 5 it gives like idk 30 attempts with that addon
Hmmmm, thats interesting. I believe GAMMA sadly has that ability packed into the economy mod if I am not mistaken, (I could be) there MIGHT be a way to change it in game, or perhaps a .txt in the mods could be altered.
I would need to sit and research that one sadly.
And there is another similar addon but its called better sharpening kit. It gives ability to use grindstone more times than usual.

Got it again. Everything has been very smooth in testing and tweaking but all of a sudden Im getting this error. I can't figure out what it is other than the Extra NPC Loot which I turned down from 100 because I was done testing it. Unsure what else related to UI, inventory and NPC. It happened breaking open a metal container with a knife and now it happened going to loot a mutant.
The values change could be causing an error. It might be a stretch, but try reverting the setting change and reattempting
I put it back to 100 (Find extra items on NPCs). I try to keep track of all my changes and right now Im only testing Anomaly, Mutant, Stalker spawns and NPC extra item loot. Both times this occured during a phase of looting.

I looked up ui_inventory on discord and saw people talking about Better Stats and possibly the keybinds related to Toggle Minimap and using a keybind that is not default to the program.
Wild, so the crash is coming from a conflict of operation? Potentially. I still think it could be an error on the values side of things, but I am not a programmer by any means haha

Yeah, I kinda steered away from some of those fast options in my ironman plays, just felt like it could arise with an issue. Ill have to try all the cool QOL stuff someday.

Ok so I Installed both addons. And Idk if anything changed doeπ Like I entered game and it looks like those addons didnt work. Or maybe im tripping. I will keep them for now cuz maybe Im tweakin and they work.
