So is Mags Redux compatible with the Kriss Vector? I installed it and Vector's mag was all glitched. It was a drum mag too, while it had 30 bullets. Weird.
Regular 9x19 USP mags don't work, even the 30rd ones.

Reverted back to saves without Mags Redux mod. I don't think I'd be able to use the Kriss Vector and P90 as a Loner with it enabled, since I probably can't buy mags for them anyway.

Suggestion: right click on the mod, reinstall and choose the "colorful" version, it goes well with Old Dog
If you don't like it you can do the same procedure choosing the "B&W" version again

I have disabled "turn this on if you stutter" and did a test with shooting at freedom from 85m. They do not react. On the screenshot you can see that a guy that I shot (but not killed like his friend) prefers to loot that aggro on me. In the corner there is even "help us" message from Freedom
I could clear entire freedom base at army warehouses and no one shot back. Only when I was next to them they pointed their guns at me after getting shot but didn't pull the trigger despite having time to do that.

in settings I have "Enable silent kills" unchecked and I don't think I have ever experimented with it before
Maybe it's just that since you're so far away and are neutral with them it doesn't register as you attacking them
But later when I was clearing whole their base I was murdering them from a couple of meters. Not one by one but groups (so they definitely should notice and react)
Moved to rostok and started shooting at Duty - same. Moved to Cordon and started shooting at rookies - same. Started new game in rookie village and shot at a stalker and after 1-2 sec delay ("WFT is going on" moment) he shot back at me and whole village aggroed on me too. So this is something with my save.

For Hippo Atmospherics we're supposed to use the custom EXEs from Github, right? I'm wondering if the EXEs that are coming with GAMMA contain additional changes besides the splash screen logo? Or do these now work with Amospherics without the need to use the ones from Github?

From changelog:
- New exes with a bunch of fixes and new features. For instance, adjustable scopes now work for guns having a grenade launcher after the cycling between scope (> alt sight ) > grenade launcher > scope.

Are you also using the Duty expansion mod? It crashes with the Duty expansion mod on
If not, try reinstalling the HD models mod, or try moving its position in the modlist to the highest priority (furthest down in Mod Organizer)
Does GTR texture mod work well with Gamma and can it be installed with MO?
i think the gun has position values set for third person in it's .ltx file
you would need to tinker it until the weapon looks good in the npc
each change requires a game restart i think
It can probably be installed with MO2, and since it's a texture rework it's unlikely to have issues, but there's always the posibility
so you will need to reboot until it sets good X)

I'm crashing in the southwest corner of darkscape near one of the modded anomalies (red sky lasers) after I kill one of the guys that look like little burers that run around really fast
I have the sleep rework disabled (including the others you need to disable with it)
NPC Loot claim disabled
Area transition no confirmation disabled
Aggressive NPC looting disabled
Dead zone (and corresponding) disabled
unlimited stash weight enabled
I found a solution to the large scopes problem with a mod (named Tacticool Scopes Remade, that is confusingly a remake of a different Tacticool Scopes mod that isn't the one that GAMMA has) but I still don't have a solution to make NVGs smaller on the screen

idk where else to ask for help finding a way to fix the sky box for my game, its way to bright to a point where there is no diffrentce from storms and clear skys apart from some bright clouds that light shines threw, i installed the Atmospherics shader mod and it mees to work fine but the coulds are still vanila.

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #π¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #π¨modded-gamma-support.

can anyone help me ID what is causing this error message and the acompanying crash to desktop?! i just went from Rostok to Garbage and got into a gun fight at the traders right there but after like 3 or 4 shots it crashes eveytime with this error. and when i open anomaly-1.5.1.2/gamedata there is no "scripts" folder. the only mods other than defaults im running is mags redux, and i turned off limited fast travel and area transitions without confirmation. any help would be appreciated or point me to the right place for help if this is the wrong spot cause i dont really ever use discord

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

That's due to DLTX attempting to load configs to override items that haven't been loaded/defined before. Or better saying, some DLTX mod you're using is trying to modify non-existing items. Depending on the log I can say it's about weapons ad ammo. Did you install any other weapon pack? Or did you change the default GAMMA load order? If you have an idea what mod that might be (recently installed?), you might want to check for its depedencies/requirements and make sure that those are installed properly AND loaded BEFORE that DLTX mod that relies on it.
Also check for compatibility notes of that mod

Why then you're here in the custom modlist channel? If you absolutely did not change anything and only use default Gamma, I'd reset the mod list and try a Full installation from the installer. Also post issues in #π¨base-gamma-support

It's part of default Gamma. Custom modlist means that you add additional mods that have not been added by the Gamma installer. Mags Redux is already included, but by default disabled. If I'm not mistaken, then this should still be part of default modlist. And if you enabled Mags, did you disable "unjam Reload"?

About the DLTX related log, it's odd. I cannot find any of these entries in my entire Gamma modlist (I mean definitions in all existing scripts, configs, etc). Don't know where this comes from. If it's still happening, maybe ask someone from the default modlist channel, since they know much better about it

I had this problem too, a bunch of the files that are supposed to override aren't labelled as override in the LTX file, I have one I fixed myself by just going in and adding the override mark in the file
Open the mod in explorer, go to the configs and replace the ltx file

Cheers, I'll need a little help pls. I had a very advanced playthrough, I played it on vanilla Gamma (afaik). In another profile in MO I added Boomsticks_and_Sharpsticks_02-Oct-2022 mod but it was disabled in the Gamma as I remember (I made it because I had another vanilla Anomaly Playthrough which I wanted to make working in the Gamma instance, but it had this mod and I made the saves with it, so it was obvious then, I installed it only for the Anomaly save, and it worked).
I played Gamma with no serious issues at all (100-150 hours)
Yesterday I started to mess with Hippo's, I tried to make a third profile, so I installed it into that. Hippo's worked, but then the vanilla Gamma looked sh!t. So I deleted everything, but I forgot to check before the modlist, and now I cannot restore them. I have the save files, but not the config files.
Now if I load the old vanilla Gamma saves into the freshly installed Gamma it gives these errors and does not load:
I'd like to finish this playthorugh, I put way too much effort in it, anyone had similar issues? I'm pretty sure it's BAS related, I tried to mess with mod setting, adding that OCt-2022 mod, enabling/disabling them, but didn't help.

So, I am trying to get MagRedux to work. But I'm getting an error on 'getJamStatus' which crashes the game when I load up a new game.
I have Enabled the MagRedux, Disabled Unjam Reload, Enabled Ammo Check and checked keybinds to make sure everything is good.
Additionally I have AndTheHeroIs' weapon mod on)
(Update: I have removed those mods and went back to normal/base Gamma mode and am still seeing the error)

how do i disable artifact condition?
i keep crashing at the bandit base randomly , the only mods i installed was Atmospherics shaders. the game ran without problems for a whole 5 hours before. its only happening now. as soon as i enter or get close to the bandit base at Dark Valley
also i liike to add that apparently it got better when i enabled the stutter mod, to a point where i can walk around dark valley, but it still crashes after like a few min in there.

Encountered an issue with the zoom functionality on sniper rifles. Tested with the L96 and SV78 sniper rifles with adjustable sight mods installed. Works fine on ARs, but not on the snipers. Instead I am stuck at one level of zoom [fully zoomed in at present. Not sure if that might be relevant or not].
Currently running GAMMA default modset in addition to:
- Unlimited Stash Weight
- Stutter fix
- Mystery of the Zone quest mod
- Body Dots on Minimap
- Anomaly's Name Update for Stalkers
- Optional Modern UI font.

I have attempted spawning in and modifying new guns post-update just in case it was a case of pre-update gun mods being corrupted or something. No luck. The new guns are also broken. I have tested it with two sniper rifles, one the same as my pre-update gun [the L96 AWSM] and the other completely separate. I have also tested going between different areas [since that used to fix the adjustable zoom on ARs with multiple scopes + GL prior to the patch that fixed that]. Nothing has worked so far

So ive enabled the mag mod in the files and disabled the unjam reload mod. I have the mags in the game but I cant reload with them unless i manually eject them and drag them onto the gun. I have already added them to the loadout.

Thanks for your kind help! The thing is that I managed to load Anomaly saves in Gamma! Only I think I disabled EVERYTHING. I know, this way, only the shaders remained I presume.
The problem is, that on the go I added some mods to this Anomaly in Gamma, first of all some BAS, since the Anomaly save was done on a modded Anomaly, but it was in a different profile in MO. In the Gamma profile the mods were disabled. So afaik I played vanilla Gamma in the second run (the first was the Anomaly), but maybe some issue slipped in, therefore the saves were not vanilla anymore, even if the installed mods were deactivated.

So what then?! Am I insistent to finish the first two runs? Hmm, seems not really... I already started a new run in the morning, 'Just in case' π . And the thing is, You know what? I enjoy it a 100X more that the first time! On the first run, after Anomaly it was hard AF. As I remember, the first ~50 hours (realtime hours, so idk two weeks in game?) was a fricking nightmare... I think I started to enjoy it, and craft after around 100 hours (realtime). Now I'm much more professional, and I enjoy it from the first minute without suffer!
Fuck, this game is AWESOME, and You know what? Though it may look weird first, and compared to other mods, but I start to really like Gamma's visuals. Plain vanilla this time of course!!!

Having a minor issue with Mags Redux where mags I have in my loadout and set as favorite show up with a green highlight rather than the color I have set for magazines in my loadout. Previously, it would be highlighted with whatever color you have set for your loadout mags, in my case orange, even if it was favorited. But for some reason now the favorite color is overriding the load out mag color, making it harder for me to tell what mags are in my loadout at a glance since I have all my magazines for my current guns set as favorite.

as far as the game is concerned, "Gun A" and "Scope A" and "Gun A + Scope A" are 3 separate items

so if a modder creates a gun, makes it compatible with scope A, they are the ones who also then have to enable the variable zoom functionality for "modded gun + scope A"
The gun in question is a fixed scope gun. L96. Another member of the community reported the same issue with the SV98.

I mean I am encountering a bug at the moment where a fixed-scope sniper rifle [meaning, one that you can't detach the scope from] with the adjustable sight modification installed, cannot zoom in and out as it normally should. I'm trying to figure out which mod is causing the conflict that's preventing the zoom from working, but have no idea which one it might be.

As to mods - i honestly didn't bother to remember, so i reverted it all back to default 358 mods. And slider is exactly in the middle

I don't think hippo and inverno should be. As far as I know they are just textures,weather and shaders. And if you want them gone just turn them off again in mo2. Turn on what you turned off when you installed Hippo. And here in appdata, delete the "shader cache" folder : Anomaly\appdata
Or if you want play just default gamma you can try backup your saves and do complete instalation in gamma instaler. It should make verification and repair of your files i guess π But if you played already with some added mods you will have probably crash again because some addons have data in your save file unfortunately π

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #π¨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #π¨modded-gamma-support.

I have the problem that i drop ammo when i load again and again with full mags. That happened only when i have more ammo with me. And its special for my pistol (lebedev) and its only by one of the mags. Example: i have 3 pistol mags then i reload,reload,reload, drop ammo, reload,reload

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#πold-mods-posting message>

Like, some parts are normal, then you move around and most of them are this creamy, low texture. I've had this for a while. Clean install, no extra mods - all the same

It is not pitch black, not on my screen at least pal. You can see it if you look closely in the middle. It has that dull effect. It's not just nights that are issue, it starts after sunset somewhere from 19:00. It's really dull even when sun is still present. Well... I've disabled the "Skies Redux" and its still the same... I dont know is the issue at this point. Did not play with any settings in game apart from turning the grass slider all the way down, and disabled campfire saves, rest is same as when you clean install the mod

I donβt know if using trader overhaul would help. I consider this to be bug if there is no other requirement for Sakharov supplying the recipes than supply lvl 5. I could probably just use debug menu to spawn the recipe I want.
I'm unsure as to what has happened, I installed a newer version of HD Models in order to see if this would fix the issue with the mod changing the dialog options (Blackjack and Uniform trading which I have found out this is the root cause) However I seem to be getting this error:

I brought this up in the default list channel yesterday, but in my game the reload weapon keybind has disappeared from the menu and been set as F10. It wasn't like that from the start, happened at some point along the way. I was in the process of tuning the game to my liking, disabled the autumn mods, enabled stutter fix, disabled through the in-game menu the scope blur mod. However today I re-ran a full install and then install ad-ons in the hopes that a reset to default mods would fix it. Deleted my old saves, started a new game, and no joy, reload is still missing. Any thoughts?

G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list to make sure everyone has the same things, everything goes back to default when you update or you do a complete installation, it's normal.

thanks for the help. That was the only issue I was having after adding some mods. The remaining issue which is fixable was I added Atmospherics Gamma and changed SSS to update water into ice. But on Swamps, AW, and Garbage I had a crash on load in and it could not find a certain water.vs or Water_ryaska.vs and the fix I found was to disable Atmospherics, load into the map then turn Atmospherics back on and all is good. Be nice if I could figure another way especially if I need to clear my cache again.

why is it that when i click R to reload it inspects my gun...
Oh crap, silly me, I was stupid AF. I started a new gameplay, and after a few hours, errors started to come (crash). I was suspicious, stated to refresh the files... turned out that two important files were corrupted, the 'dots and reticles...' and 'gamma large files'. I deleted them, reloaded, and rechecked everything... now not just works, but my old 150 hours gameplay is restored too!!!
I'm super happy... thanks anyway, it could not be easy with all of us, lame users... maybe lots of the issues are because of this, probably the servers are full, and the install cannot be completed well, though it's cannot be seen.
As I seethe servers are/were down either, so I'm super lucky to do this job last night! Maybe it's time to make a backup of the full Gamma install or game dir, so that I'd have it in a safe separate place for scarce times... π

i changed the ltx file and now times passes 1-1 i was able to do a full playtrough last year (on efp 3.0) but had to remove some mods like the healing items and health system as they didnt scale with the slower time,healed too slow. Im actually surprised not many people care for this. As most of these mods are about immersion. And times moving so fast really messes with mine xD Still i hope it works fine now.

- Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
- SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)
