Temporary fix for β€œgrok_spawn_lights.script:59: attempt to index global 'placeable_furniture' (a nil value)” error.

  • Download the file somewhere you'll remember
  • In MO2, go to File -> Install mod...
  • Select the file
  • Press "Yes" on the message prompt that asks yo about BAIN installer
  • Select these options:
    00 - Main
    02 - Anomaly Radios Extended
    03 - Props
  • Rename it to in the top box Hideout Furnitures OLD
  • This mod should now appear under that name at the end of your modlist in the G.A.M.M.A. Disabled category.
  • Make sure your modlist is sorted by priority if it's not click on the priority tab so the arrow on it is facing up like this " ^ ", then drag-and-drop it just below 245- Hideout Furniture - Aoldri
  • Enable Hideout Furnitures OLD
  • Disable 245- Hideout Furniture - Aoldri
  • Play

If you end up with an error saying "Can't find model file 'dynamics\placeable\gas_lamp.ogf'" you applied the fix wrong

Hi I'm having a problem with Project INVERNO, My ground textures are still grass and dirt, but everything else seems to be active. I've disabled Gardener of the Zone, Simple Autumn Leaves, and Grulag's Dead Bushes, updated and ScreenSpaceShaders. I've deleted the Shader Cache for every time I've loaded in all morning and nothing changes. Moving SSS above INVERNO causes a Shader Compilation Crash. I'm Not running Atmospheric currently.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#πŸ–‡old-mods-posting message>

When is it necessary to have multiple installs of a mod in mod Organizer 2?
Example: Grok's Ballistic Overhaul instructs you to install it twice (one for the core, one for compatibility patches).

Is this necessary for any mod with patches and optionals, or should BAIN installers allow you to cover all optional files at once? Trader Overhaul is making me paranoid.

if you really want to do it safely, reinstall TRO via its BAIN installer with the options you like, save it as a separate mod with a separate name, place it after all the other Trader Overhaul files so it's last in load order, and disable the others

Seems like they changed how the portable workbench worked aswell. If I replace it, i can access the blue box and the vice seperately by aiming at them when interacting. Old workbench needs to go through the menus for stash :>

So hopefully this is a rather easy fix and I'm just overthinking it. Haven't played in a while and now after updating suddenly BaS is in the disabled category and the game wont launch without it. Enabling BaS allows the game to launch just fine, but when I go to enable the optional mods I normally play with, the one in question being Mags Redux, I get this error when launching the game:

I still have the problem that my raindrops are no longer displayed on the mask. Have now also looked at the water there are everywhere geometric shapes to recognize and the whole surface is covered by a reflection. This all happened after hippos reshade and aydins grass tweak. does anyone have an idea where to start looking exactly which things are responsible for this? Game runs normally has no crash after 16 days ingame time.

SOLVED, fix for those having the same error when installing - don't do a manual install like the mod page says. Add the file to MO2 and set the 01 Core folder as the anomaly directory. Once installed, right click the mod in MO2 and open file location. Open bin/reshade-shaders and place the Film Workshop folder in there

on the top left of your MO2 there's a button to install mods from zip files, there's the default way to package them, where it just has the proper paths and folders, or the modder may use a BAIN or FOMOD installer, in other words it depends on the mod you're installing and how it's packaged, nothing to do on your end

Question: does Gamma support without any particular edits mods working for Anomaly 1.5.2?

I've made/edited work of others in the past, rebalancing stuff like more expensive, but much longer lasting tools (what kind of crappy file it is that it just stops working after being used a couple of times or a pot that cannot handle being used regularly for a few months) and helmets that can be disassembled/fixed up the same as armors and weapons and I'd like to know if there's any specific steps I'd need to take to port them for Gamma

@cursive sleet gamma is basically heavily modded anomaly, just make sure your load order is right and your mods dont overwrite something important. Smaller mods like you mention longer lasting tools or increased prices better made via DLTX

3. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #πŸ€–bot-commands.

I have an issue with my sound. I know it's kinda my sound card's fault, but I get audio cutouts randomly, because of certain ambient sounds. I have disabled the Soundscape Overhaul and Horror Overhaul mods, but I still get those audio glitches. In some maps I get them frequently, and in other maps not at all.
I've already tried a different alsoft.ini and to check the Sound Problem Workaround and Prefetch sounds options in the launcher, but it didnt help.
If I disable Smart Volume Management from my sound card's control panel, then the audio issue immediately goes away. But without SVM on, the sound volume is all over the place, so it is not a viable option for me.
The thing is, I never had this issue with vanilla Anomaly, so I know its something that Gamma changed, but I dont know what that is.

Can someone pls help? Its been a long time I've had this issue now, and I dont know what else to try.

It went fine except for one thing, the tufts of grass are normal colors. Is this intended? I tried installing just the Project Inverno "Snow Grass" addon, but it didn't seem to do anything. Hey guys so I have a save issue on my current run which has otherwise been functioning completely fine until something happened today and now f5 doesn’t save my game.
When I press f5 in an appropriate area for saving I.e a campfire or home base etc the game will freeze for a split second as it normally would to save the game except when this happens no text stating a save has been made appears and no save is made

I’ve tried remapping my save button to no avail, I’ve tried disabling and re enabling the yacs mod and that doesn’t work, I’ve tried restarting stalker and my pc which didn’t work. Hello, people, i have a weird CTD on saving issue when "Unlimited Stashes Weight" is enabled. Otherwise my modlist is vanilla (358 mods). Interestingly, it only started happening last time i saved when arrived in Jupiter. Other weird stuff that happens: PDA is blurry, nightvision goggles dont work, and my status bars on bottom left are red/read 0%.

hey, I have a problem with gatekeeper. He wasn't there so I went and did everything in the faq to restore him but it doesn't seems to work. I spawn him, I set his logic and he goes to his place. then I remove the dead status.

after i leave AW to go to barkeep to get the mission back, he doesn't gives it to me (neither does aslan) and when i go back to check on gatekeeper, he's normally no longer there, today I caught him just wandering off.

Ok so I caught him wandering again, i target him to check what logic he is using and it appears as though that his logic doesn't sticks. When you set it, it seem fine, even after reloading it show that he is using the correct logic. but after leaving AW and re-entering and finding him, his logic has reset. Yes I did save and load.

confirmed again, gatekeeper always loses the logic when the player transitions the zone. So I know what's going wrong with the whole thing since when I get to barkeep, gatekeeper no longer has the gatekeeper logic therefore the mission won't re-trigger, what I don't know is how to force the logic to stick.

So, after issues with the default modlist, GAMMA haphazard stability (sometimes working for hours, sometimes crashing every few minutes) and long loading times I've decided for last try to play this thing, went through #old-framerate-optimisation and disabled some mods mentioned there as well as unchecked stuff in the shaders overlay.

The result is that now, even with animations disabled, I apparently get "busy hands" regularly (1 in 3 times some consumable is used?), some sounds from dialogue boxes are out (log mentions many lines beginning with Invalid ogg-comment version, file or Can't find sound but after the crash, once the game is restarted, some of them may work again... for a time), crashes with unexpected exception are a norm. So, not much of a success there.

Also, I couldn't disable "Shaders cumulative pack for GAMMA" because that one crashes the whole game upon an attempt to load a save file, claiming shaders couldn't be compiled. The channel should probably mention that the optimization measures work only for the new games or, if it should be possible, something's broken even deeper.

If anyone has any idea how to make GAMMA stable while trimming down loading times, I am interested. I am afraid I simply cannot spend more time on this thing otherwise.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#πŸ–‡old-mods-posting message>

@zealous cedar i left the roguelite mod on and than dropped everything that i owned into a stash to save the missing scout. roguelite procedeed to count every single item seperatly including the massive stacks of ammo, which filled the memory. than poof crash.

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

The busyhands is the name of a bug that among other things prevents the player from interacting with objects or the weapons player holds.

If you can't:

  • use your weapon or reload
  • open your inventory
  • drink/eat/sleep or otherwise interact with items you have
  • correctly see your HUD in the bottom left corner, and it appears like everything is at 0 and it's all red
  • transition between locations

Then it means your save file is affected by busyhands. The only known way to fix this is by loading an earlier save that was made before any of the things mentioned above started happening.
It is believed that the most common causes of this bug happening in the first place are:

  • Enabling mod Turn this on if you stutter in Mod Organizer (or auto_switch_distance_start value being manually changed).

You have to start a new game for HD models because your current save is looking for a model from Dux's, not finding it, and crashing

You can get around this by going into hd models folder, duplicating one of the files and renaming it + placing it as what the game expects, but you will have to do this every time you get a similar crash

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#πŸ–‡old-mods-posting message>

Another crash report I was asked to drop, happens pretty much always whenever I want to save by a campfire, though not always with that fatal error. If anyone can help - it's welcome, but I have little expectations by now.

Modlist altered minimally, mostly just following steps as per #old-framerate-optimisation (again, with exception of Shaders cumulative pack for GAMMA as that makes loading save impossible, with game claiming shader compilation couldn't be done, something @whole jungle may want to check to confirm and warn people of)

This command is specific for a specific kind of crash, but it's good in any case to remember an important lesson:

If you enabled ANY FDDA animation, turn them all off.
Yes I'm talking about backpack, crouch, mutant loot and items pick up. It's causing your crash. I don't care what you think it is, it's FDDA. Turn that shit off.

The only thing you can keep enabled is the first option: Enable FDDA animations

anyone knows why I'm stuttering like crazy in Pripyat. all other places work except it. fps drops to like 5 to 10 when in Pripyat. I enabled the "if you stutter" addon and it didn't fix it. I lowered graphics to min and still didn't fix it.. anyone know the possible issue. A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

  1. Open your G.A.M.M.A. folder and ONLY delete the "mods" folder you'll find inside. Leave the rest untouched, you don't need to delete anything else
  2. Move your G.A.M.M.A. folder to the new location

When you have finished moving everything to the new location:

  1. Run the installer as admin
  2. Click on 1. Allow Powershell scripts
  3. Click on 2. Launch MO2
  4. Select your Anomaly folder
  5. Click on Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then click on Full G.A.M.M.A. installation

Hi. I think I have some bug that causes friendly stalkers not to aggro on me after I shoot at them or ever kill theirs friends. It is also strange for me (but not sure if bug or a feature) that when I snipe enemies from long distances they do not care, their friends loot their bodies but do not go into "combat mode" at all as long I'm not getting close. I have 3 mods changes: 1. enabled "Turn this on if you stutter" 2. enabled "Unlimited Stashes Weight" 3. disabled "Areas transition without confirmation" (but this I have recently changed, after noticed mentioned behaviour so it shouldn't matter). Any idea what may cause this? I've asked on this discord and people states that stalkers aggo on them when they shoot them so it is not default behaviour I guess

  1. Download the old BaS version:

3) Copy the gamedata folder you'll find inside
4) Open your GAMMA RC3 folder and go to GAMMA RC3/Grok's Modpack Installer/GAMMA/modpack_addons
5) Create a new folder exactly named 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich
6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Launch the GAMMA installer with admin rights, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

If your issue isn't solved, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Full GAMMA Installation in the installer.

you are getting a FATAL Error on the Raptr weapon, which if you haven't updated in a while will cause the crash - i would suspect/guess there is a NPC spawning in with this weapon and it's causing the crash. As Moddb is down it'll be tricky to update the game at this point in time if that is the case as well haha
