alright, if you want to disable that mod
first make a save if anything goes wrong
then load that zip/script in MO2, open the game
LOAD your save
once you are in game quicksave and the game will probably freeze 1-2 seconds
then a message will appear saying X items were removed
then save again with a different name like "food removed", close the game, then disable the food addon and the script addon, then open game, load the "food removed" save and play normally
if anything goes wrong, then you enable back the food addon and go back to the save you made before applying the script

Only visual setting I changed in game was upping the resolution to 2560x1440. Got the game running with DX11. Not quite sure what other information is relevant to this.
I enabled the following mods:
Trader Overhaul
Mags Redux
Mags buyable at traders
I disabled the following mods:
No trade with Random Stalkers
Unjam Reload on the same key
Okay nevermind, turns out switching to DX10 fixed the issue.
Guess I'll just add some words like sidorovich white lighting graphics glitch DirectX, so someone might have an easier time Ctrl+Fing this in the future

Whenever I try to start the game, it loads in a weird resolution where I can't move my mouse, and using the arrow keys to get to settings causes it to crash
Does this happen when you don't add or remove any of the mods that the game starts you with? Like, when you did the steps to set up GAMMA, did you have 359 mods active?
I have some different mods enabled, (maid's and meg redux off the top of my head) but I was able to play just fine before today even when they were enabled.

Yeah so I actually had a custom mod list, of somewhere around 380 mods active but then i ran into this problem one day, and so i went to go do a add on only reinstall and now im 2 mods short of where its supposed to be so im tryin a full install to see if that fixes the issue

Evenin' everyone. I've encountered an odd issue where when I perform a reload with a weapon with Mags Redux enabled, I drop a unit (15 rounds/1 box) of ammo when I change magazines.

Stalker and GAMMA should both be on the same drive, and not in any deep and/or weird directories.

Hope that works. I don't know how this was coded, but when you went through the process of getting the mods and game set up, that might have implanted the directories for parts of the application. You might have to start from where you unzipped GAMMA and stuff. Or maybe restart from the beginning.

also, you shouldn't have any red X in ANY mod
it means that the installation went wrong
either by bad internet, internet got down for a moment, bad moddb servers, or something is blocking the downloads/install

We'll be here if any more issues arise. Although, def recommend #🔨base-gamma-support, since that's where issues of not everything being properly downloaded and for some reason, missing some mods usually goes.
I use the latest B&S and Mags Redux and have just noticed the ONLY two guns without magazines are the AK-105 Shakal and the 105 Swamp Thing. I tried the moddb Mags Redux as well as the latest from Github with no luck. Anyone else ever notice or encounter and fix this?.

i remember having that crashlog when i installed a mod about slower raindrop on masks
the only file it modifed uncommented some sections about spawning those particles in certain weathers
but the particles aren't part of vanilla anomaly even, so they will be missing and game crashe

I've tried !default, I've downloaded a clean install of DICK's character kit from mod.db, I've tried editing the xml in the mod to change the called visual from _1 to _2, I've replaced _1 with a duplicated/renamed _2 in it's place, and I've tried creating a new "mod" with only the called ogf file and put it last in the load order. But so far no success and it still crashes.
And interestingly enough it is only crashing in Dark Valley at the large bandit camp in the North and ONLY when I shoot a bandit. I have 2 companions with me and they can shoot and kill them all day, the bandits can shoot at me no problem and I can hang around in GM for as long as I like, but as soon as I pull the trigger aiming at a bandit it black screens.
Any help would be VERY appreciated because I'm at my wits end!

Hi, does anyone encounter standing still enemy? For example, in swamp zone I see few bandits around campfire, they see me, 1 of them runs to cover and 2 of them stand up and freeze. Doing nothing. Fixed my own issue but had to do a complete reinstall of both ANOMALY and the GAMMA installer/modpacks. The bug didn't return even after restoring a MO2 backup after the reinstall so best guess was an installation issue. While very time consuming it fixed the bug and didn't lose my save so it worked out in the end I suppose.

or if it appears, it's probably a empty folder

i enabled duxs kit and hunger thirst sleep ui one but i cannot find the remade animations one im guessing this is because the hotfix like you said
would strongly advise you follow #old-how-to-install from step 5 onwards, and download the new downloads.7z file - this contains all of the mods that GAMMA uses by default. make sure you can start a new game with default modlist first before you start trying to customize the modlist and posting in here
well that file literally has the RemadeAnimations zip in it
open up downloads.7z, extract the file REMADE_ANIMATIONS.4.rar into GAMMA\downloads, run full install again
you will likely have to do the same for the Hideout Furnitures mod seeing as that one causes your original error message
which is why you can see I am slightly suspicious that you extracted that file properly
because that's a copy of grok's working install of gamma

In weapon mod configuration, there’s the toggle scope mod. If you go to change the bind, press esc. It will leave it unbound.

weird, but there are no conflict keybindings in mcm... But I know that the issue is in custom key 25 and it's used in both BulletTime mod and I think in BaS, so maybe the way out is just bind the scope button to another one (e.g. custom 24) and bulletTime to the 25...

the crash only started showing up recently
only thing weapon wise that i have is Rust and Wild weapons. just retextures and spawns variants of weapons
but in my mo2 i see that the unjam_motion_mark.script is overwritten by something already in gamma called the tommy gun
let me double check my logs to narrow it down
i guess its the tommy gun and vss mods that gamma adds that conflict with the old wpo, bc i gave my companion a tommy gun thats prob triggering the script while he shoots

My BHS hud shows as all red even though I am healthy, I cannot activate my NVG, removing batteries from NVG/detector/pda does not actually remove them but keeps adding batteries to my inventory infinitely, I cannot eat or take any meds, cannot talk to NPCs, and generally the game is broken for me.
I keep reloading earlier saves where everything works fine, but this keeps happening after an emission. Every time only after emission.
Which one are those?

Anybody seeking a solution to "attempt to call field 'get_jammed' (a nil value)" or similar CTD error, I recommend checking your mod order. After a bit of troubleshooting and comparing my custom modlist to the vanilla GAMMA one (which was loading fine, it bears mention) I found that my extra addons weren't crashing the game, but the order of essential GAMMA addons got mixed up over multiple updates. Comparing my custom list with a vanilla list and rearranging them resolved the issue.
Is it save to add Mags Redux, Ammo Check and Mags buy at traders to an existing save?

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Hi, I wonder if something is wrong with my draw distance or the GAMMA weathers are just missing fog ? I have mostly default GAMMA install with reshade mods disabled and Graupel added (afaik Graupel only adds like 3 weathers)

Hello, I wanted to be able to save anytime anywhere and as far as I know the settings for that are from YACS, so on MCM I disabled everything, I'm able to do manual saves whenever I want, but I can't do quicksaves anymore, when I try to do that, my game freezes for half a second, like a normal quicksave but when I pause and on the menu go to load games, my quicksaves are not there, please (NVM it had something to do with my character name, I made a new game with another name and it works, idk why but ok)

I have an audio issue; when I'm around Yanov station, some audios are played several times rapidly. I havent installed any audio mods. I have tried saving restarting the game, rollback to an earlier save, but every time I come back to Yanov it's the samne audio issue.

I disabled the FDDA rework, and it solved the error message. but it still crashes on loading the save. it crashes before a loading image pops up if that helps. no fatal error either

I have stutter and random crashes on warfare so should I open these
used to play efp but gamma i think is the way to go
you enabled a bunch of shit under the Disabled category that will 100% crash you out again
or cause a lot of gameplay bugs
warfare mode is just always unstable on gamma
you can try the stutter fix mod but idk if that warfare patch will actually do anything

Well, then I think latter might be the case. I did disassemble few things on dead bandid and tried to shift-transfer to my inventory. That's when it crashed.

Someone else has report seeing the issue on the mods page, however the author dismissed it as he says there is no code on that line in his version, however I can see the line perfectly fine in the version I have installed that came with GAMMA, ima see if theres an update to this mod that should be applied.
Hello everyone, when I launched a new game after updating gamma, I forgot to disable mags redux, and I wanted to remove the mod from my game, so I used the remove mags redux mod, it removed the mags in my game according to the pda message, but when I tried some weapons like the mp5 I could not reload my weapon, I suppose that my weapon still needed a mag. I tried to test again on multiple new games and I still have the same problem, as far as I know some weapons don't need a mag but other weapons need them, can anyone help please? (looks like there are weapons that don't need mags anymore and weapons that still need mags)
Ype sure enough, if anyone gets the above crash mentioning "guards_spawner" the fix is to update the xcvbs guard spawner mod, the one in GAMMA is outdated.

go into MCM and into 'better stats' tab, then there's a option called GAMMA UI and EFP UI patch
disable gamma and enable EFP one
or disable EFP one and activate GAMMA, i don't remember, try to see if it fixes with one of them
open Mod Config Menu > Better Stats > make sure “GAMMA UI Compatibility” is checked.

hello i found a little bug i upgraded my ak 12 with kit that allows u to use 2 sights one short range and one long to mid range adjustable scope when i use underbarrel grenadelauncher i can no longer zoom in with long to mid range scope i tested this on another gun that allows u to use adjustable scope and grenadelauncher and with same result using granadelauncher disables your scope zoom

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

figured it out, (at least for me) unticking the read-only property in both Anomaly and GAMMA folders solved the issue

I disabled all mods that are written in the google drive and placed it above "Particles Cinematic VFX3.5" as it says in the custom-textures channel and also deleted shader cache when starting anomaly

awesome this worked. i have one more issue if you could help me with it. no one responded to my messages yesterday. i tried to do the framerate optimisation and for one this file was empty 4. Be sure to copy paste the GAMMA RC3/.Grok's Modpack Installer/modpack_patches/appdata/user.ltx to the Anomaly/appdata folder. Delete Anomaly/appdata/shader_cache folder. it only went to modpack_patches with no appdata. also i did 3. Disable the following addons: and got error i will post pic

Didn't do anything specific, was on my way to Clear Sky camp and didn't interact with anything when crash happened. 5 extra mods installed:
- Companions carry weight tweak,
- Optional Modern UI font,
- DNPCAV
- Turn this on if you stutter
- custom mod - recipe for craftable grenades on workbench (literally 3 lines ltx file)
Since script has something to do with task (at least I think so), I might actually have an idea. I took eco with me (hunt type of task) but at some point he just detached from my squad on his own. About 5-10 mins later crashed on my way to CS camp.

1) Check you aren't blocked on moddb (go to https://moddb.com, if you don't have a giant red screen you are OK)
If you are blocked, wait out the timer + 40 minutes or use vpn.

2) Visit this link and download downloads.7z: https://gofile.io/d/mpDnsO. Use a VPN if you can't access it.
3) Open your G.A.M.M.A. RC3 folder, move the archive in there, right click it and choose "extract here", using 7zip. It will create a folder called downloads, which will now be filled with zip archives. DO NOT unzip those.
4) Launch the GAMMA installer as ADMIN, click "Download GAMMA Data", click "Full GAMMA Installation"
You can try to use the !mirror command in #🤖bot-commands to figure out which mirror is least busy for the installer.
5) Try to play

guys, nimble does not upgrade guns for me. i'm using moddb's mags redux (not the one included in gamma). i'm trying to get the mp5 frasier, have a fully repaired mp5 with full fmj mag in and over 500k moneys. nimble keeps demanding a gun to exchange ... EDIT: nevermind, no vendor sells the mp5 .45 acp mags anyway, and retooling 9x19 mags turns them into 9x18 ... would have to either debug spawn the mags or bring multiple stock mp5's to nimble to convert, but since the latter doesn't work ...
Doing a second full install of gamma to see if that solves my problem, hopefully it does. If successful then I shouldn't see any red boxes, right ?

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.
