yeah i had it happen once
anyone experience frame drops and stutters with mags redux? in the inventory?
and with looting
im getting 10-15 fps and everytime i transfer an item to my inventory it stutters for half a second
How do I update screen space shaders for gamma looking at the game mod files in gamma I realise it doesn't use Screen space shadows which I want to use. Its missing settings_screenspace_SSS.h
I think the fps drops are caused by the mag redux highlight of the mags that are in your loadout
anyone know how I can remove that? in the its mcm you can only lower opacity and I dont think that helps cause the highlight is still rendered in the inventory

Hey, I am getting a crash to desktop like 50% of the time whenever I open up a stash. When I looked in my error log, I dont see any errors after a CTD. The changes I have from the origional modlist is that I enabled unlimited stash weight, and added a mod that gives yadulin 5 uses.
Alternate ADS for laser sights and canted collimators is linked to the underbarrel grenade launcher key, right? I'm using the ak74 beard and hitting that key and it isn't changing the aim style so it's uncomfortable to use with NVG.

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

npcs don't aggro on me when i shoot thier friends or even shoot them. for example when i assassinate a guy in 100 bar noone gives a damn. only way i can get aggroed is to get seen by a stalker from enemy faction and im not even sure if that works

Hey guys, i noticed that when going to sleep on this new save and sleeping for like 10 hours that my sleep bar went from half way full to about half way full. So i disabled !sleep stuff went back into my save slept for 8 hours and noticed my sleep bar actually move quite a bit. However when i woke up my sleep bar still wasnt full. So i tried another 8 hrs immediately, sleep bar still aint full. Any ideas what to adjust or why it would bug out like that?
im honestly still surprised by how much i have to eat/drink too, i guess the MRE isnt really all that much in terms of calories but i get unrealistic visual sway when my food bar is still half full or my water gets half empty w.e
its funny how you can identify busyhands, yet still ask questions like that
as mentioned in !busyhands, the only fix is loading earlier save

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

occasionally, without any notable cause i've found, nor any form of log, my game will freeze, then cause my entire screen except my taskbar to go black, and i'm still able to see the taskbar, but not anything else (for example the screen won't change if i maximize something)
i can't close gamma through any program-closing keybind, and i can't see task manager to end it
it appears everything still functions in the background, for example if i select to move a window i'd be able to, but i just can't see it at all, and i need to completely restart my computer to fix this
as for changes, i've literally changed 4 MCM settings from base gamma, of which i forgot 3 of, however i know i changed artefact degradation rate (not through the one that tells you not to touch it) and some animations
i don't know how to identify versions using gamma (i'm still very new to this lmao), but i know i'm using a moderately outdated version and i was considering updating to try to fix this, but thought i should ask here first

I was able to whittle it back down to 340. But with that. the games crashes on loading of game. Or trying to start a new one. If someone can help that would be great! thanks!

I found another one I believe was on. a Bounty squad remake. I turned it off. it is down to 337. i checked it and it seems to be working. I can load my game and so far it has not crashed. so I think yay?

5) Now launch MO2 again

simple question, im trying to install a custom texture pack, and since i dont have alot of experience with mo2, it says im suppos the texture mod below Particles Cinematic VFX3.5 1.1.2 BOTZ YAWM, but how do put my new mod bellow it?
make sure MO2 is sorted by Priority (click the "Priority" tab, should be ordered lowest on top and highest number on bottom), then drag and drop the texture mod to be ABOVE "Particles Cinematic VFX"

Quick Question: I'm using HD Models now, so I needed to disable some mods. Now the Problem: If you start as Clear Sky, Snow gives you 2 Quests: 1. Give XY Patches. 2. Clear the swamp and shake up the Renegades. Well... 2. Quest is not there anymore. Tried New Game and so on. Doesnt work. Anyone of you guys know with what Mod I can bring that Quests back in?
Does anyone have some recommendations for increasing fps with eden's melting winters
So i've been crashing a lot lately and it's been happening while i do simple things like putting stuff in a stash or just walking around. I spent most of my playthrough not crashing but once i hit army warehouses i started crashed often to the point where i'm starting to spend more time crashing then playing. Is there a reason for this? I can dig up my latest crash log if needed (i'm asking here because i added a couple of mods that weren't a part of the default list) but it's annoying having a run be ruined like this all because i went to a area that i had to go to for tasks.

I tried setting up the core 0 fix affinity shortcut, but whenever I start the game from it it's incredibly buggy and unstable. Nightvision doesn't work the limb health bars never fill and I crash when attempting to save

I disabled Perk Based Artefacts because, frankly, I don't like them or the fact that artefacts can degrade because of it. However, disabling this mod makes it so that I can't attack any human characters at all without the game instantly crashing.

Then it's up to you to "up" their condition with the melter
The perk artifacts are basically "fuel" for the melter, if you don't want to use them
Same goes for radioactive artifacts if you don't plan to use that specific artifact(s)

The degrade is in place because there are already better artifacts
The perks one are basically garbage artifacts
They have perks because otherwise they would just be garbage/sellable (from what I remember)

Hence the "you can't sell artifacts right away but you need to do the long ass crafting thing if you really want to sell them"
Making money/being rich isn't even a problem, you can become rich in a short amount of time by just doing quests, because that's the main gameplay loop after all

I've adjusted some repair item stats utilizing the Gamma Guns Easier Cleaning Mod as a template. Everything seems to be working except the tooltip number highlighted on the icon which shows at what minimum condition level the repair item is usable. Is there another step I need to take or another file I need to edit/reference to have the icon show the correct min condition number?
if you started with HD moedls and still have a missing dux character kit model, 100% a .xml has defined a npc visual section with one from dux character
two solutions:
1- find that .XML and replace the visual section line with one model .ogf that HD model has
2- copy any random HD model mesh file, and paste it into the path where the crashlog is searching for, then rename the file to the one the game wants

ok, i looked at the log and it appears the crash was due to the game trying to find the camo version of the lr300 which should not happen unless the mod is placed before another mod that overwrites the lr300 config file.

sry no clue about an immortal addon, but gamma comes with a tougher companions and important npcs thing i think, at the very least i know it does those important npcs and i havent had them die on me yet

I just tried the p220 in game. I couldn't get the problem you were getting maybe if you have mags redux on, and you only have say hydro shock mags left, it will just switch to hydroshock even if you were on FMJ.

u want the middle value i have my positions 16x9 middle value at -0.07 which i think brings it down a bit so u may wanna go to lower negative value? so like potentially .1 or something ud have to fiddle with it or id have to download and fiddle to get it just right

yeah so idk if ill be able to help cuz im pretty sure the instructions i gave u before were correct in terms of fixing, lemme find u some exact values to try but if u cant get the adjustments to stick idk whats wrong cuz that would be hte fix, i did right click pda reanimated and then the info option and in conflicts i found items_anim.ltx and in there i looked for hud_base and then the aim hud offset stuff is what i adjusted, i had to make sure i was doing the 16x9 options since im running 16x9

When I try to set my refresh rate to 75hz my game flickers to a black screen in some spots, and in some trader inventories but this gets fixed when I'm back to 60hz. Anyone know what's going on? someone told me that there is a small fix to how warfare behaves, so that enemy factions wouldn't swarm your faction HQ and kill off the main NPC's when you get there

Instructions to update SSS mod to update 12:
- Download most recent SSS mod files off moddb. Install SSS mod in MO2. Disable old SSS mod. Check all ticks when installing except manual install and experimental UNLESS you are going to use experimental shadows EXE, then check experimental. (Idk why this matters but someone pointed out it wont work if you check manual installation, what it normally does is extracts the exe's im going to talk about below in to the mod folder so they are always easily accessible and you don't have to keep the downloaded archive.)
- Open your downloaded archive and got to either MANUAL INSTALLATION or EXPERIMENTAL and put the exe you use(AVX or Non-AVX) to launch GAMMA in D:\Anomaly\bin. Experimental is better shadows, less performance(didnt hurt 3060 ti), crucial imo though. Back up old exe's by putting them in a folder of their own called old exe or whatever.
- clear shader cache in C:\Anomaly\appdata
- replace D:\STALKER\appdata\user.itx with file located here D:\STALKER GAMMA.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata\user.itx
- replace D:\STALKER\gamedata\configs\cache_dbg.ltx with file located here D:\STALKER GAMMA.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\gamedata\configs\cache_dbg.ltx

For context, I'm running the HD Stalkers mod along with the MAIDS Icon mod. This is causing a CTD every time I enter Rostok. Seems like an model is missing for this Dolg fellow.
if you started with HD moedls and still have a missing dux character kit model, 100% a .xml has defined a npc visual section with one from dux character
two solutions:
1- find that .XML and replace the visual section line with one model .ogf that HD model has
2- copy any random HD model mesh file, and paste it into the path where the crashlog is searching for, then rename the file to the one the game wants

Hey all, I have a problem with the Magazine Mod. While everything seems to be working, I noticed that the P220 12-round magazine don't work for the modded version of the P220. All magazines for the P220 are 7-round capped, even though the description says 12-round magazine. Does anyone know how to fix this?

logically, if i go just by how things are overwritten when you activate the patch, i think the warfare patch is only for normal warfare since it patches stuff on the list that would otherwise not work in that mode. Also, its not called "warfare overhaul patch".

Hey guys , not sure if this aleady counts as custom modlist if I enabled stuff like mags etc that came with the modpack but I guess it does so.... Just about an hour ago my Nvg randomly stopped working after turning it off to check my pda and then back on - it still does the animation but no effect - i just reloaded a save ad it works again - kept playing and the same thing happened again so i saved via console , reloaded and same thing - shortly after my game crashes when i tried turning it back off/on. This keeps getting more and more frequent now same goes for the crashes - any help?

Yeah it's the resound for all of them. They work of dltx so they're gonna override Daron signal which also uses a dltx to change the sounds

So uh, I've explored Agroprom undergrounds a bit and took things from Streloks hideout.. now when I've actually went for the quest to the Doctor, I seem to can't proceed with it. Nothing changes when I enter the underground, neither when I read the notebook or anything else.
I know there are commands to proceed with quests, could somebody help me with it?

What worked for me was dragging the "[apply to main files]" manually into the "[Main File]" after extracting the zipped folder
I havent installed it yet, I didnt press ok, so what happened
afterwards, i converted the [choose one] folders and optional folders into zips and installed them into MO2
nvm I missed one item

I'm installing Dark signal audio mod and I need some help on the process of installation
Inside the .rar it contains several folders wich in the readme says that I can install trough MO2
I never put folders in MO2 before. So
- Wich folders should I extract for gamma?
- How do I put them in MO2?
So what I did was extract the [main file], went through and applied all the [apply to main file] folders to the main file, replacing everything when it asked. I then applied the BaS 2022 patch to the main file since I'm using the new BaS. I didn't install any of the bonus stuff. I then zippied it and installed it in MO2, and disabled 79- Better silenced BAS shotguns - Karlack and 105- Re-sound for BAS snipers and pistols - Rex1534

not really, just installing SSS last in MO2 with the correct patches + installing the BIN files manually and deleting shader cache on launcher should be enough to get new DOF effect + the rest of shader effectws

it also could be that one of the files corrupted start the base game launcher don't start it just have it chech the version it wi8ll tell you if one of the base game files is broke

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.
The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.
We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

I found the issue I think but no solution for this bug I'm having where I have to hold L to keep my flashlight on. If the weapon doesn't have a laser I have to hold it, but if it does then it works normally by just clicking and not holding or holding and double pressing the esc key to keep it on. not sure what mod could be doing this but is a bit annoying if I don't have equipped a weapon with a laser.

This is weird, I installed EFP because I heard there are no shadow problems in that mod, I launched it, played it, got to the same spot where the shadows wouldn't render in GAMMA and it's all good in EFP, no issues.
After checking it again, I gotta say that I was wrong.

Thanks, now i can examine what is crashing my game
The only fix (that actually works) is reducing the FOV to around 42-43, a high price to pay for good shadows on the edges of the screen.
I've even tried Screen Space Shaders with the exe and experimental files on a fresh Anomaly copy.
Did you try replacing your user.ltx with the default one?

I'll be back in a moment, got a fresh install of Anomaly and GAMMA always saved up in a zip file with 0 compression.
I replaced both files, the one in GAMMA and Anomaly with a fresh, untouched user.ltx file with all of the default setting, no effect, same things is happening as on the vids I shared.
The shadows on the side of my screen just don't look right, can be on the right, can be on the left, never in the center.
I have no idea then. And I assume you already cleared shader cache?
Several times, tried most shared fixes. It always happens in the exact same spots under the exact same conditions, got fog? Even a bit of it? You'll never notice it, is the sky clear? You'll find it 100%
But just set the FOV to 43 and everything is fine, the FOV is meh... but the shadows look as they should.
I've also tried r2_sun_near_border 1 and I think all of the sun stuff via console.
That's really bizarre, never seen that. Wish I could help

Turning off sun shadows fixes everything, it's just that you don't have any shadows cast by sunlight anymore.
A lot of the time I had foggy weather so I just didn't see it but the moment Cordon cleared up, I had the same issue you can see on that vid.
