by default it looks like there should still be ammo on dropped mags
look for npc_mag_loadouts.ltx and delete the gamma one overwriting the mags redux one
only have the base ltx file, nothing gamma related

Faced such problem: When I make a shot from a weapon with a scope - it is removed, another shot and reappears. Previously, restarting the save helped, but now even restarting GAMMA does not solve the problem.
Good afternoon everyone! So I disabled “GAMMA Economy” and “GAMMA Economy No BAS Injection.” I read that “Trader Overhaul” Is a part of GAMMA’s mod list, but it’s inactive. If I activate it will it still convert the economy to the “Trader Overhaul” Economy without issue? Or can I install Trader Overhaul on top of GAMMA with no problems? I want to be able to buy and sell guns but with an enhanced economy.

Hey, I get this crash when talking to Spore in the Clear Sky base. I have Compass instead of minimap, Death Animations, New Item Highlight, 2D Scope 21:9 Res Patch, Ammo Check, Barry's Knives Animations, Mags Buyable at Traders and Unlimited Stashes Weight.
Anyone know what could be the issue?

What does "operacia_monolith" translate to?
I did have the game running on an slightly older version that was on 333 mods, so I'll check it now that I've updated.
I'm not familiar with what script calls on "operacia_monolith" but yeah it's not there where expected.

Weird, yeah that's the only thing I can think of that would reference "Monolith". That being said, it could also be referencing something related to the Monolithx64 engine, which means it could be anything. @rose heart

idk the specific issue, but if it were me I would go back to vanilla and then enable things one by one until I found the culprit and then go from there

Hey everyone. So I activated “Warfare ALife Overhaul” and the “Warfare Patch.” The game and mod booted fine but MO2 said there was a conflict with “GAMMA UI” and “Better Spawns.” Do these both need to be deactivated? Or just “Better Spawns”?

Anyone know how to install the aggressor reshade? I activate it in the Mod Organizer and the default GAMMA reshade is still on.
you have to download the Agressor reshade and drop the reshade files inside the Bin folder of your Anomaly Game
then download the reshade setup
and when it's open browse you anomaly folder again, select bin and select the Direct X you're using and after that it will ask you which reshade would you like to install so select the Agressor Reshade.ini

ive been having crashes from time to time when shooting but oddly enough that didnt happen after installing the update prior to the last one posted, the only major change i have in my mod list is that i updated bas

I disabled the body health system mod and everything works fine, except the positioning of the status icons is still where it was when body health was enabled. Is there a way to adjust it back to vanilla?

AND if there's a way to either remove or simplify APART safely. But I probably missed some settings while I was tired.

If I understood correctly, what that does is affect the individual spawned magazines, which works fine right now.
But the weapon that spawns when the NPC dies still has 0 ammunition in its own mag

Well, did nothing because he was right xD
- You have to go to: Gamma\mods\207- Mags Redux\gamedata\configs\items\settings\npc_mag_loadouts.ltx
- In the file, modify all mag_fill_max variables to any value between 0 and 100 (percentile of maximum mag capacity)
What this does is essentially apply that to all spawned mags, even those inside the guns.
If you set it too high you'll later find you have too much ammo and then money seriously becomes worthless
I think I've set masters to drop with a max of 20% ammo and down to 5% for rookies
does mo2 have a button or something to auto sort priorities of mods

Is it possible to run the Trader overhaul/Destockifier without turning off G.A.M.M.A. Economy? About to try it but just wondering if it will end up causing issues.
The Trade Destockifier seems to work with basically everything
I don't know about Trader Overhaul though that seems much more likely to have conflicts when touching it
I run Trade Destockifier before everything in all my modlists and it works as intended

@raven roost if you mean just filling them in general in player inventory, its drag and drop the ammo onto the appropriate magazine. If not sorry for the ping.
Thats from FDDA but be careful, it causes busy hands bug which can brick your save

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

in the anomaly folder, go to gamedata > configs > inside you'll see localization.ltx, this issue is solved by deleted this file, if the problem persists you'll have to wait for someone from the gamma team or use the search function

What mod makes the R key lower the PDA? I deactivated some and activated others, now i can't lower it, pretty annoying

alright, figured it out, messed around with the "GAMMA unjam reload", changed a command line on the configs for the ui keybinds, kept the scripts for the unjam on but no way to activate them, now the PDA goes down by pressing R

Did you delete shader cache? If it doesn't work after that it's because the shaders in gamma aren't compatible with expedition anymore

yeah, normally when it comes up with an error like that i delete the cache and reload the ltx file and it works fine for the next 5 hours of gameplay but here it was consistently crashing in the same locations

I played a game without Warfare ALife Overhaul, and selected a Warfare game and there was a plethora of Stalkers everywhere. Dozens everywhere. Now, after I activated the mod and started a game under “Story” and “Warfare” it’s like vanilla Stalker. Very barren. Just want to make sure I activated it right because I love the warfare idea.

Look in the settings menu under the warfare tab. Should be "money on kill"

It's crashing because you have two mods using the same section now. You have to deactivate the other icon pack
working again, I selected two modules the first time within maids that conflicted, cheers 👍

At the moment I've been playing for many hours with HD models. The game works well, there were crashes on Yantar, but I'm not sure if it's because of the HD models or not.
The mcm setting regulates the chance of finding more or less ammo in the mag
Yantar crashes are non-critical, because I was able to bypass them in the end.

It's 100%. 100% artifacts get rerolled to lower condition once they hit your inventory
I told you i could sell it for 40k,it acted like 100% and it rerolled only when i moved it to and from a stash

The efficiency changed for some reason to 100%

I woke up this morning and anomaly told me to screw myself by crashing on load. This wasn't a problem last night and I didn't change anything. Dropped my load order back to default gamma and reactivated everything I had on before and now it magically works again.
Sometimes you just have to flip the switches on and off a few times and things will jiggle themselves back into place
for thap rework to work I need to install that DLTX addon or I can bypass that? I'm not sure because that addon is outdated...

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support and #old-bugs, in these two channels the support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla and are also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

I use skill expansion and that doesn't change icons and if it's the mini gun mod I made then that's totally compatible

That indicates something is being overwritten, either a winning or losing file
then its the snipe scopes

i don't recommend doing it but i think you have to install those shaders inside the folder of Stalker Anomaly > Bin > reshade shaders

yeah but when you download that mod, some addons like the water addon contain the following folders
those go inside the gamedata folder, since they are shadesr and textures loaded by the game and not a external app

hey guys. I wanted to ask if there are any alternate progression mods? I usually play on hard difficulty and progression, which i like. what I don't like is getting a bunch of advanced guns in starter areas (like from military in swamp), even if theyre completely broken. Is there a mod where I can lower the tech level of npc weapons in starter areas, but slightly increase the chance of finding functional historic weapons?
i've upgraded my sr-2m for increase firerate and accuracy but the value not changing above certain value, like 88% for accuracy, and 900 rpm for fire rate. Same for recoil. It's normal? EDIT: it's a BaS weapon, maybe it does upgrade the text value for this reason.
EDIT SUPER EDIT: Ok, fixed simply by saving and reloading.

my last playthrough was on EFP where you could see this happen alot even on 3x damage
sometimes bullets don't get perfect contact, bouncing or deflecting off a helmet, if they're not wearing a helmet then you could raise the bullet damage slider
I have this problem where my PSY bar disappears and my Satiety/ Thirst pop ups no longer appear. The only extra mod I'm running is "click this if you stutter" and I've messed with the setting, but that was mainly animations and some visuals.
The only way I have been able to fix this is by loading a older save before this has happened and continue from there. Does anyone know any other fix? Nvm doesn't work, also no closing and opening the game again does not work.

Did anyone notice an increase in the amount of enemies after updating the game? I swear the amount of bandits and zombies has drastically increased

The number of enemies and how powerful they are increases each in-game day
So you probably just got one of the unlucky big skips
i know i know but this save only has around 3 days of game time and fully equipped enemies are spawning

is there a mod thats overriding the shotgun shooting sounds? they all sound the same despite the BaS files showing otherwise, I noticed this the most with the ks-23 sounding like the toz. it doesn't list any conflicts but listening to the sound files they're clearly not being used

That's a skill issue cause a dog only takes one knife hit to kill

You could game logic it. The pseudodog takes more because of psy ability to slow things coming at it down, so the damage of the bullet is lessened. But it's a stretch.

Guys, couldn’t get a response in the normal support so here I am. I’ve followed all the steps outlined in the frame rate optimization and I’m playing on DX 8. My beefs nvg won’t work, the sound plays but no nightvision appears, only the headlamp works

Is there something I can do if my GPU is reaching 100% usage? I get some annoying frame drops by this
I have a RX 580 8gb for GPU and a Ryzen 5 5600x for CPU
Even lowering the game to "potato preset", 100% GPU most of the time
If you just don't want it to reach 100 percent then I have found that using v sync or the frame limiter helps. I don't know about increasing performance though. Most graphics cards will run at 100 percent without a frame limiter cause its trying to crank out as many frames as possible. at least that's how it works to my understanding.

Since I have a 3070, I use the no AVX DX

AVX allows the CPU to process calculations normally handled by the GPU. Although in most cases this is a performance boost, since you are often using the GPU to its fullest to get frames and not touching a good portion of the multi-core CPU, X-Ray uses only ONE core.
So, in plain english, if you have a beefy GPU, it's better to NOT use AVX.

This "switch" to the no AVX was a game changer, the game is more smooth now, I basically have 90 FPS everywhere all the time
But again I also had to make some changes
I turned off many things that IMHO didn't made a huge difference

Hey all, I've been playing Gamma for a few days and I've come to the conclusion that I really, really, really don't like the weapon parts and armor parts overhauls, but I still vastly prefer gamma to base anomaly. I've tried to disable all the WPO relevant mods in the launcher but even though I can start a new game and walk around, the moment I fire a weapon the game crashes. I'm pretty sure it's due to durability loss trying to affect the now absent parts of the mod, I don't know how to fix it, and I've given up trying to mod Anomaly to the level of Gamma just for this one change.

GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches - Copy these three folders (check pic)
- Go to your Anomaly folder
- Paste these three folders (check pic)
- Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

Hey, I am struggling to get "disable burnt Fuzz" to work. Is it incompatible with the body health system?
I'm partially color blind and am having a really hard time seeing the red quest marker arrow on the minimap. I'm asking here because I manually installed some of SquareDOV's addons(Blind Dog theme, Grey theme) to check if any of those looked better. I made a backup of SquareDOV's gamedata folder and used it to test out each version. They were all installed fine, and I've gone through each map variant, but they're all about the same. There are no changes to the arrow, or the ground colors, and I just can barely see the arrow... I checked for any other mods in the GAMMA MO2 instance, and I checked the Mod Configuration menu, but there doesn't seem to be any way to change it. Anyone know of a way to just change the color of that red arrow?

That arrow is in a ui texture file that contains a bunch of other ui elements. I don't know it off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure that's a default texture that nothing else touches. If that's the case you'd have to unpack anomaly's base files and modify it yourself

Go into base anomaly and there should be a folder called tools. Open that and you'll see two unpackers. You want to use unpack_all
Then it's just a matter of sifting through textures/ui

if you meant the vanila portrait icons, go to the mod and there will be 2 lines for each outfit section declared
one is for the portrait, and other is for the model, which is actor_visual
Okay so this was the only file in log
put a ;
before the line so it doesn't get loaded by the game, thus ignoring the forced visual on the outfit
yeah, missing .ogf model
best quickfix would be to copy any other duty .ogf, and paste it in the place the game searches it for, then rename that .ogf to the one the game wants

After disabling Weapon Parts Overhaul and its accompanying patches for other mods, my character is unable to reload their weapon. Is there any other mod that is linked to WPO that I should disable?
can someone please help me with settings for using warfare mode? I adjusted the stalker spawns in the regular options and in the modded a-life options. There are still like 100 stalkers on each area and I get like 10 fps. Any way to have a reasonable spawn rate in warfare mode?

Some of those overwrite really critical things so they can cause cascading, unrelated problems

Reinstall BaS and then the fix from Andtheherois, and make sure that the NEW BaS is in the same spot in the load order as the GAMMA version (old), make sure that the old version is not checked. Load the fix last in your load order

what is the best way to get anomaly magazines to work? currently its active on mo2 but in game i cannot reload even with the mags in loadout i only selected the BAS patch as that is the only one im aware of

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

dick is dux's innumerable character kit, it changes most unique named npcs to have an equally unique character model. anus is anomaly name updater for stalkers. It changes the name of stalkers so it's not as linear as vanilla. The names are just finny abbreviations, nothing else.

Nope. The model you see on npcs is the world model associated with that gun. If it doesn't show a scope that means it's defaulting to the overall world model for the gun and not a specific one for the scope

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

Personally, I haven't tried it, so my opinion here is hardly expert. Most likely, attempts to access models binded to Dux will cause a crash on trying to load a save. But you can try.
I haven't noticed any impact on perfomance. But my rig is pretty good.

If the HD models are in such high demand, maybe the dev team should really consider adding them to the modpack officially.

I downloaded the fillable canteens mod from moddb and installed in mo2 through the 'install a new mod from an archive' option and its working fine. Now when I finish drinking a canteen the empty canteen is deposited in my inventory. Should work for you

Hey all! Are there any mods that I can add to gamma that would add more storyline stuff? I have only played Shadow of Chernobyl for about 2 hours when it FIRST got released.

i believe it’s caused by me launching the game after having (unintentionally and unknowingly) disabled 190- screen space shaders
but re-enabling it, deleting shader cache, etc, has not fixed it

I have it enabled, made a new save, reloaded and tried just about anything I can think of but nothing has worked. I know this looted exosuit is better than what they have but they refuse to wear it. Put new bas where old bas was and turn off the old patch. Put the gamma bas patch at the end of your load order. If you're using my smol ak for gamma patch load that after the gamma bas patch
it definitely isn't being caused by reshade or dx
it was working fine, then i accidnetally disabled screen space shaders, then it stopped working even after re-enabling
ah, i knew i was missing something about that. the smol ak patch im using is packed with your weapon pack in DLTX so hopefully it should still work?
