not like that, i guess mods are a little annoyed cuz everyone is having problems with moddb servers since it gets overloaded? in downloads, and have some errors in the game, most of those errors are explained in the install or announcements pins, but people don't read and they keep answering the same question over and over

Oh, and cfg_load grading_vanilla in console. Then press home > change to Edens reshade

a few months ago I tried to install gamma and ended up disabling some mods from the list because I didn't like some of them, so from 333 it went to 249 active mods, today I installed it again, I followed the video step by step right and the 249 active mods remain , just yesterday I tried the complete install button but it still does the same thing and my game crashes when loading the new game...
Moddb is a bit fucked currently so you may want to wait until it stabilizes. Or try again and again.
i dont have a 'Shaders_cache' folder. does that present a problem? or do i just now OMIT the deletion of it

If you have less that 333 active mods, run full install again. Moddb servers are breaking right now and you will likely have to try multiple times.
To avoid getting flagged as a bot and blocked by Moddb, only run full install up to two times per hour

When i use Anomaly Season and Golden Autumn Redux, shooting my Shotgun crashes the Game. Does anybody know how to fix that? I disabled the other Mods i had to disable. And i also copied over the other Stuff into Anomaly's gamedata and bin folder. Appreciated.

Generally speaking, whenever I've encountered an issue with a specific mod, the crashlog displays whatever file had an error

Seriously, I'm almost giving up.
I've already done a complete GAMMA installation, I've already updated GAMMA add-ons and I still have the game crashing when I start a new game with any faction, no error message appears, it just closes and that's it. I know it's because in MO2 it doesn't have 333 active mods, only 253 and I don't know which others I should select. I have all the addons downloaded in their proper folders correctly. I just need the correct MO2 profile with the right addons selected for me to play, but no one can send me this, it's a simple thing to solve

No one can fix that unless you have several spare servers handy to donate and the staff to set them up for moddb

I installed everything correctly, but I ended up unchecking some addons that I didn't like in the game, but when I did that I didn't know it would cause the game to crash, you know? Now that my game is crashing I don't remember what the pre-active mods are when we install the game, you know? This is resolved if I have the MO2 profile with the correct addons selected, no manual changes.
If I uninstall and install all over again the addons I unchecked are still unchecked, because of the saved MO2 profile

I wanted to ask about something. Is there a way to fuse the two IUs together? I like the labeling from the minimalist UI but I miss getting to see my hotkey items and the ammo. My eyes aren't that great so it's hard to see the ammo in the minimalist UI. I also noticed that my ammo and status symbols overlap on the normal gamma ui. I have been searching all day on the discord but I can't figure it out.

I checked it, it just doesnt specify if it need to change load order cause yestarday grok told me to move it at the bottom of my load order but if I do that Gun appear in my shop. and if i just activate it. the shop is the same as if it was not activated. (without change the load order of it)

I’m in need of assistance. My game keeps crashing every time I try to enter army warehouses from radar.
When I try to load the auto save it makes in army warehouses it crashes too. But I can still load the save I made right before.
I was able to sleep and then fast travel back to my base in dead city. So in a minute I’m going to Try getting to the army warehouses again.

if you mean each time you equip a outfit/helmet the inventory closes and a 'camera animation' plays, you rpobably enabled vanilla camera animations

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support and #old-bugs, in these two channels the support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla and are also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.
for some reason I cannot remove the scope, even tho there an option to detach it. it does nothing and I cant use another scope on it. scope suck and id like a refund type of deal

I have three questions: 1. can I install the mods on the modlist after I've already started a game? I'm 20 hours in and just found out that there are optional mods. 2. there is an anomaly mod that autocompletes quests as soon as you have the items or assassinate your target etc. so that you don't have to run back across the zone for 800 roubles, does anyone know the name of that mod? 3. Would that mod be compatible with this mod pack?
DLTX minimod pack has an Autocomplete which is probably your best bet

That is, the standard settings for dropping arts do not work. For example, I put 10% there, but there are still many of them. Tell me how to turn it off if you know. Yes as long as nothing important is overwritten by that mod or if you can do the merge yourself

I don't know that mod pack but as veerserif said it's not recommended to stack modpacks
basically adds more animations like backpack opening more stats more like a tarkov health kinda system

can someone tell me why or give me a rough idea why the mags system stops working all of a sudden and refuses to reload the weapon

Do you have loose ammo in your Inventory and ate you trying to do something in the middle of the reload?
mags are loaded, in my loadout but everytime i try and reload it, it refuses to replay the reload animation but instead acting as if there isn't a mag to put in it with ammo
and thats while standing still

Make sure you have the mod unjam/reload on same button disabled and you can remind the reload to r
You'll have to rebind unjam though
Unjam is also in default settings
i just assumed it was having issues when the weapon state was fully empty or the mag was out and the slide cocked back that when you tried reloading for whatever reason it just wouldn't play nice

Hey gamers, is there any mod in particular I should enable/disable in the pack if I want a simpler repairs system? What would the changes be from enabling/disabling? I find the current system a bit tedious and confusing
by simple repair system, you mean something like enable tech npc to repair everything?

I'm not sure. I've been trying to repair a part on my pistol, it said to get a multi tool and I did but the part doesn't show up in the multi tool repair menu. Not sure where to go from there but I did some googling and it seems like there's a lot of tedium in hoping to find the right repair kits for your specific gear and such
there's a manual in game PDA, and theres also the channel manual here or faq i don't remember
theres a minimum % condition that the part requires to be repaired by the Multitool
for example, iirc you can't repair a gas system part if it's 1% or 10%
it needs to be higher than 50% or 60& i dont remember
so everytime you loot a dead enemy, check the 'details' tab of the weapon, and see if the parts are in good condition and are useful for you
then you dissasemble the gun completely or you grab it into your inventory, and then you click on extract parts so you extract a certain one, instead of destroying it to get a chance to obtain the barrel + other parts

@severe jayi disabled simple autumns, gardener of the zone, dead bushes, gamma economy, gamma economy bas and thats it and installed expedition and golden autumns as the only extra addons have played over 8 hours then it randomly starts that shader compilation error constantly

In order to update your Anomaly 1.5.1 to 1.5.2, follow this:
- Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
- Extract the zip, you'll have a folder
- Open the folder
- Copy the content of this folder
- Paste the content of this folder inside your Anomaly folder
- Overwrite everything when asked to do so
- Open the installer with admin rights

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.
If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:
- interact with objects or people
- use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
- open your inventory
- drink/eat/sleep
- check your HUD in the bottom left corner
If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.
The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.
Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:
- Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
- Animation for skinning mutants
- Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
- Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement
your save probably got bricked
try loading a previous save a day or two before, in game

things were working fine but the shaders ran into an issue where it couldn't find certain textures and caused the game to crash, after troubleshooting i've only seemed to make the issue worse

G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
- After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

If you have 10 mods and the list goes (for example) from 0 to 10, starting from 0:
Stuff on the top, like 0, 1, 2... is loaded last
Stuff on the bottom like 10, 9, 8... is loaded first
So basically, the mod 10 will be loaded first and it's on the bottom
The mod 0 will be loaded last
right so
lower priority = overwrites other stuff

G.A.M.M.A. isn't built with Warfare in mind and Warfare, per se, have bad perfomance, bugs, issues, etc., this is why it isn't recommended.
You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support and #old-bugs, in these two channels the support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla and are also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

I just solved a similar issue for myself a few moments ago by disabling R3zy's Detectors Enhanced Shaders Patch. Not sure if it will fix your issue but its worth a shot.

Hey guys. I just updated my game, launched the mod launcher, and only showed 156 mods enabled. Bunch not checked. I'd like to play as GAMMA's default (read it's somewhere around 330+ mods). All I can find is a way to enable/disable all. All is around 600+.
How do I get it back to default?
I don't know which ones to enable
not sure if this counts as custom modlist b/c it's still mods built into GAMMA and not enabled by default, but I enabled the magazine redux stuff (as per instructions shown to me here, disabled the unjam reload mod option first) and it seems I crash when talking to shops that have mags available (probably the "mags buyable at traders" addon). Not sure if there's anything I can do other than turn mags at traders off? error attached

Is there tree/bush mods in gamma? Cause I've tried the frame optimization stuff, which brings me to 25 to 45 fps, but if I get close to bushes my fps tank hard.
I switched over to the current modded Anomaly EXEs from demonized and now it seems like shadows are gone. Am I tripping or is there something I did wrong?

Not sure, but I play 1440p and the font is fine for me, I have this optional addon turned on to change the font and that makes it perfect for me

I tried this one yesterday but I don't like it and prefer the vanilla fonts. I have no real problem, the fonts without scaling to 1440p are just too small in some occasions. 🙂

I want to disable 37- Dynamic Tonemap Extended because the whacky lighting on certain weather conditions is driving me crazy but I notice it's overwriting/underwriting/whatever lots of other mods in the pack - will it screw anything up if I just disable it?

not sure if this counts as custom, but I disabled DICK and enabled HD models instead, works perfectly fine until I try to get in Rostok, then the game crashes with the fatal error being
Can't find model file 'actors\stalker_dolg\stalker_dolg_voronin.ogf'.
(also happens with Petrenko if I somehow try to place a placeholder for Voronin.)
I managed to run GAMMA with HD models in the previous update with Rostok working perfectly fine. Any ideas on how I could fix this?

Actually works. I had to go through multiple stalkers in duty (even the guide there was affected for some reason). Apparently, the newer version of one of the mods has a config that changes the default names of these stalkers, since the DICK models have the exact same names after looking through the files there.
anyone know if ZCP and Warfare are compatible? game "works" just "fine" although for some reasons mutants don't spawn. (tried 1x Default 2x Fast in warfare) also played with the mutants sliders, no change.

servers consensus: don't use hd models lol
can't really say atm cause I didn't check which mods changed the npc name reference. Honestly I'd recommend just giving up on HD models unless you're willing to go crash log after crash log and setting up new mesh models like I did. I'm sure that at some point Grok will release some sort of updated instructions on how to use it but until then it's just not really worth the effort imo

you can use character_desc_bar.xml to cross reference MOST of the Duty NPCs that cause errors but some you'll just have to wing it on

I'm not sure why it's doing that. It's giving an error from the parts but it shouldn't be. I have no problem with any of the guns. @lapis river do you have any idea what might be causing this? I've seen some other people with these errors
For now you can disable the parts match script

Hi, was prompted to ask my question here.
I tried messing with the mods not activated, interested in Agressor Reshade. But once I activate it, I loose around 50 Frames (~80 to ~30) that I wont get back even if I deactivate Agressor. Only way I get em back is via new install. I'm using the one included but deactivated by default.
Is there something I'm missing? ModDB speaks of a FPS hit around 10.
Volumetric in the options instead of screen space
The version of Aggressor in the pack isn't the reshade, it's just textures.

any way to disable reshade from even loading?, it constantly crashes the game when i come back to the window and resume the game.
reshade shouldnt crashe your game, its just a overlay
google how to uninstall reshade, but your problem is probably something else
every time, i come back to the window. click resume game. i saw the reshade notification of compiling the shaders, every time. So my educated guess is that is reshade fault.

i even had to grab pencil and paper to do some math thing for selling profits in the game, instead of using my reliable excel
To disable reshade you can remove the dxgi.dll from Anomaly's bin folder

Got eft reposition, awar, blindside's reanimation and BaS installed. All the weapons seem to be working fine, except for toz 66 sawn off. It jitters when I aim. Full seems to be working just fine tho. Any way to fix this?
When I do the fix for 204 error I get the 544 error and when I do the fix for that, I get the 204 error again.
So I am wanting to turn off the addons that make it to where all the weapons on bodies are broken. I dont want to be able to sell and buy them just be able to find them usable and have to take good care of them so they dont break. Can anyone help me with that?

@lapis river i figured it out. Gamma weathers are now tied to roadside's lens flare. That means you can't remove it without also removing gamma weathers or else the game crashes

Seems to be failing to kill an NPC when the blowout ends (Thats when it crashes) the surge manager script is part of mod 265 but this save file has like 30 hours on it and havent run into this problem yet.
I'm on a questline where I need to talk to some dude in Zaton, maybe he's essential and not dying to the emission crashes the game?

Yeah latest update, obvious path here to fix would be to disable "Npcs die for real" mod, but this might just be an oversight worth looking into? Questline NPC is out in the open and I think doesnt move even when emission is happening

I am suddenly crashing way more frequently than normal. So far happened twice in an hour, once traveling from AW to Rostok and second time using the Bar guide to travel back to AW. My game usually crashes very little. The only thing different in my modlist since today is dynamic tonemapper is ticked on, but my log is mentioning trying to use deleted objects.
When I use any scope my sensitivity increases when I exit it. I use console to fine tune my sensitivity.
How do I fix this?
I have mags redux, ammo check, mags buyable at traders, companion carry weight tweak, unlimited stash weight on
and gamma unjam reload on the same key off

Simple things like the PDA and bolt retextured, I don't know what mod that is, but I do use maids
I can suggest trying to move the mod way up in the load order, mine is at 183
Don't put new stuff in your load order 
Put it at the end, see what it overwrites, and make a merge if necessary
Putting it in the middle makes it harder to patch correctly and can cause crashes
Plus it makes it harder to get the crash to stop
tried asking this yesterday but im not so sure if the answer was correct; does lower load order = higher priority? because when something is higher load order it says in the Conflicts tab 'Winning File Conflicts', does this mean other mods are overwriting those files or this mod is overwriting those files?
Yes, lower on the list = higher priority
When it says it's winning file that means the file in the mod is overwriting something else
You can see what it's overwriting by right clicking the file, and the last file name is the next highest one it overwrites
lower on the list as in a higher Priority #? because lower on the list = higher priority number

If you have 10 mods and the list goes (for example) from 0 to 10, starting from 0:
Stuff on the top, like 0, 1, 2... is loaded last
Stuff on the bottom like 10, 9, 8... is loaded first
So basically, the mod 10 will be loaded first and it's on the bottom
The mod 0 will be loaded last

Top stuff is loaded last
and will rewrite anything higher thats loaded after...?
because by 'loaded last' it implies itll rewrite stuff already loaded

your folder structure is completely messed up for those mods. check how other mods have their folders structures and fix yours accordingly

I have an weird issue with mag redux. Realoding shortcut is ok, it is just that every 3rd reload instead of cycling back to 1st of 2 mags, it just unloads/ejects the mag from the gun without putting the 1st one in o.O has anyone encountered that?

You may be canceling the reload accidentally. This happens more when you have loose ammo in your Inventory
seems u are right, did some testing and whenever something cancels even almost 2s after reload animation is done (jump, another reload, opening inventory, etc), it cancels the reload and puts mag back into the inventory.
yup, I use it as a feature to unload the current mag and do whatever with it
wish there was a simple unload current mag hotkey
and really wish there was an unload chamber key
since the mod logic seems to work off the current round in the chamber
the functionality is there within the right click menu of a weapon. is there a way to link that to hotkeys? I don't know how everything is structured, executes, etc

How can I find this patch and is there any other advice on installing this mod? I'm afraid I am going to screw up my Gamma game if I don't do it properly, or the Alife overhaul will make the game unstable.

im not sure if i am lacking a mod i used in regular anomaly, maybe that is it, in my regular anomaly the skinning knife was always the knife you had in your melee slot
Knife skinning should be off by default anyway. It can cause the busyhands bug, which you really don’t want
also noticing a possibly unrelated issue, if i have 2 knives, one broken and one fully repaired, i have to drop the broken one before im able to skin anything, no matter what slot sthe knives are in
ah okay, i have not had the busy hands bug with gamma yet, knive anims on the whole time
I don’t like saying to turn something off, because obviously this is your custom modlist and it’s how you want your game to be, but I highly advise not taking that risk for busyhands
It comes when you least expect it, and ye… on the worst occasions, it can corrupt your entire save file

Although it’s much more common to lose only a chunk of the saves (basically anything from when you got the bug forward is screwed), sometimes the bug can mess up the entire save file
if you move the saves out of the save folder would that make a difference?

I guess I’m just used to EFT where people are carrying everything they use, instead of dropping a semi random loot table
It’s weird that I can 1 tap a guy and he’s carrying 8 rounds, but if I reload the save and fight them they have 100’s of rounds to fire full auto
in the early game you might not see it too much, but there will definitely be NPCs that survive longer in the Zone and loot a bunch of the people they kill and they will have all of their looted stuff on them. as far as finding ammo on them, yeah npcs basically have infinite ammo

Yup, seems to be a common issue now. What personally fixed it for me, but I cannot guarantee it will work: Revert back to the original gamma mod profile. Make sure you have it still, and made your custom one a copy. Make sure that your MCM settings are backed up too.
Then run the game with default mod profile, make a save, test shoot to see if it crashes. If it doesn't, go back to your mod profile and try again.
I did try all the other fixes first but the last bit got it working for me.

Did you enable all mods, or enable something that requires something else? Cause it looks to me like a mod is trying to load something else that it can't find.
can download 4k textures, or play around with your reshade settings if you want :)
this is what my game looks like with the expedition reshade and vanilla texture resolution so it's definitely worth a squizz if you're keen
I'm thinking it might be this shooting crash people have been talking about which is strange because I could shoot with my rifle just fine as soon as I try the shotgun I got the crash
