Hello. This error message has popped up multiple times and every single time, the Fracture makes itself announced. Doesn't matter if it is on screen or not. It has persisted through many updates. Not sure of a known fix

I have a problem, i disabled the mod that allows me to save only in bases and near campfires, but now whenever i try to quickload, enemies AI gets a reset, they were fighting me and then they are just walking away like nothing... Anyhelp?
I think it has something to do with the safe area around the player whenever level transitioning? (same with loads). Happens to me in vanilla as well, you can sneak by them, quickload and they auto detect you... I think its just stalker
Anyone knows if Project INVERNO 2.0 for Dead Air works for Gamma? I tried fiddling with it but I keep getting _default_18 error. Installed 1.0 as per instructions (disabled leaves + gardener + added shaders) and I still get Dirt ground textures not snow

Hey im gettetting a crash on start up i disabled gamma economy and gamma bas noinjection, ive enabled some mods that were already in the modpack but were disabled e.g: warfare patch and i added a snowy mod (yawm) Here is the crash log:

updated to 1.5.2 anomaly? i had the same error yesterday, something with winter mod, make sure you have the Main and Vanilla Redux installed as well.

anomaly 1.51 to 1.5.2 then full gamma install fixed it for me. alternatively, try to backtrack what mods you enabled and isolate the problem
I think the snowy mod has to be above the Particles Effects mods?
In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

How do you disable beefs nightvision? I have done so in the vanilla mod list but gamma is still forcing it on me
edit: I figured it out you just need to remove the scripts and vanilla nv works again

I think that’s just something that is there, my is a lot more subtle but sometimes when I’m looking at walls and surfaces at a certain time I see it, it’s like the flashlight lol
It's not reshade since the issue is still here when deactivated. I will try reseting my user.ltx to default.

i think it caused the weird "nil" quests where the markers moved from duty stalkers to the nosorog guard in rostok near the southern checkpoint
i had it disabled for a while now and i havent ran into that issue
the quest then couldnt be completed because that character is not a quest giver
Ah that issue. Yeah I thought so too, it's not sadly. Personally I think it's either zcp or something spawning an npc to fill that squad who gets replaced by gravelinko when the game goes oh wait this is supposed to be homeboy

for updating regularly you run the installer as admin > update data > only install gamma addons
sometimes grok makes an #📢announcements about an update and will specify if a full installation is needed (run as admin > update gamma data > full gamma installation)
I could say resetting user.ltx worked but the game is now entirely black with blinking epsilepsy triggering white 
I did a backup so no big deal

in game, trying to complete a task given to me by some loner, I have to kill a bandit in the truck cemetery and for some reason the location of the bandit keeps changing from one side of the cemetery to the other.

You had an issue with wpn_kriss, so whichever mod that was
Turn off kill, thats an optional mod that isnt on by default. The reason you are crashing is it is there to clean the saves screwed by bounty squad extended. Once its clean you crash with nil errors because it cleaned it all out.
yeah i did install that too, i disabled it bcus i didnt like it, then my game kept crashing, so i enabled it now it works

Honestly its not a bad idea that you ran it. Especially if it was a long save.
I literally made that thing because on saves where there was an active squad disabling it would also keep crashing you. So that was made to basically cancel out any changes the bugged script did so you can disable and keep your save.

quick question: does changing the load order in MO2 through file name change cause any conflicts with other mods? for example i'm installing the machine pistols in sidearm slot mod, and i need to put it underneath blindside's weapons reanimation in the order. do i just shove a number in the file name so its forced below, or is there a more elegant way of doing this?

there's compatibility issues with dux's mod in gamma, honestly i would recommend not using HD models since they're not actually the best, and can cause major conflicts with some of the other tweaks installed into the modpack for it. i do believe there's a guide for having hd models in gamma, but generally i would stay away from it lol

yea, stashes only have loot inside them if you have the coordinates which you get via missions rewards
I don't think I've found a reward stash with loot in it but I've not really been paying a lot of attention

It's an addon that fixes guns spawning with armor parts instead of weapon parts which is a rare bug

i have YAWM snow mod, warfare patches and few other things enabled
but the snow mod is the only mod i added that wasnt in the original modpack
i tried disabling yacs campfire saves in MO2 just now to see if it will help but now it just crashes on new game
currently i have 351 mod enabled, i disabled gamma economy and gamma no bas injection because i wanted to play around. i have turned on trader overhaul, fluid relations, a-life overhaul and few other things that shouldnt affect quick/auto saving
but it was all already in the mod pack (just unticked)
Disabling YACS has to be done through MCM only

It's not always about whether it affect save loading or not, it's about when it crashes and why, answer you can find in appdata logs

Hello, I normally try to do my own troubleshooting but this one has me stumped. I am trying to install the EFP texture pack but get an instant crash to desktop when loading. I disabled two mods I think would be incompatible: Gardener of the Zone and Simple Autumn Retexture as suggested in a previous conversation. Is there another gamma mod I should disable possibly?

YAWM works but you need to delete shader cache and place it earlier in load order, at least before particles addons, Inverno is described in #custom-textures and Graupel works great regardless

Aggressor Reshade is dope. Kind of a Tarkov based one, comes with GAMMA but is off my default
You can try simply disabling Simple Autum Retexture, Gardener of the Zone and Grulag's Dead Bushes to get back to vanilla Green, add agressor reshade as well
OR you may want to try Golden Autumn Redux

On a side note, I keep getting weird white textures/outlines on various elements - trees, grass, ground, etc. I set specular gloss factor to 0 and it helped a little. Is this a known issue or just me?

Weirdly enough, I feel like it got worse after I tried this!

I made it less noticable by bringing down the brightness and adjusting gamma and saturation settings, also disabling the no leaves on bushes adding. It kind of helped. afaik ur fix only fixes the axes from the new devices pack, i got my edited version of new devices pack that only adds the detectors and grenades so that shouldnt be it

FYI for those who are having issues with parts_type_fixer and their mods, I am currently reworking it to provide easier integration with custom modlists, and make it compatible out of the box with most.

No worries. But I figured instead of having to say either turn it off or if you have this one mod, I mind as well rework it a bit to be better XD. The new version will allow most mods to work with it, as long as they dont add any guns that dont have parts for some reason.
unfortunately this didnt fix the issue, just arrived to dead city and heard the crows but again no emission rolled in saddly, i even ticked off emission and psy storms in the options, saved and ticked them back on but it just doesnt work for some reason

DO NOT enable Bounty Squads Extended (Mod 44) it has been disabled due to a multitude of bugs. Also DO NOT enable Bounty Kill unless told to, OR If when it is disabled you see a crash and the error references bounty squads or bounty squads is in the log. If you meet one of those two follow these steps:
1 - Enable GAMMA Bounty Kill (Under GAMMA Fixes)
2 - Launch GAMMA (You may get an immediate crash, this is fine, relaunch)
3 - Play as normal until you crash with an error/log referencing a nil value
4 - Disable Bounty Kill, and enjoy GAMMA.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:
- Enable
Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload)(the mod under "Optional") - Disable
G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key(yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind) - Enable
Ammo Check(this is a mod as well) - While in game, check your keybinds for reload and unjam
Bonus) You can also enableMags Buyable at Tradersif you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

Apocolyptic blowout overhaul is overwriting all GAMMA control of emissions, that will be where your issue is.

No, we didint adjust emissions in the new update. However if you havent done a full install in a bit, its the fact that the newest version of that mod now includes what is mod 265 for us. So its possible you have a version before that didnt have that built in and wasnt completely overwriting everything.

don't worry about the launcher, you can manually delete the cache in the folder itself, and launch the game from MO2
to turn on debug you just have to open the normal launcher

so for some reason emissions are just fucked in my save, even with apocalyptic blowout addon removed i still hear the crows but no emission rolls in, also, for some reason i cant even start an emission from the debug menu, it just doesnt work, psy storms on the other hand seem to work at least from the debug menu, tried a clean save and emissions work fine from the debug menu at least so im assuming they also work naturally, i have no clue what broke

Kinda sounds like a save that happened right at the end of an emission, or during one. This can rarely break emissions.
this save file has an emission about to happen in the next 5 mins or so, if ur willing to test it out and see whats broken with it

I am getting a crash sometimes when I go for a stealth kill. Wondering if this can be solved or where I can look in my mods.

It's the assassination mod. It's trying to do something with the ai logic and whatever it's trying to do is referencing something that doesn't exist.

Well I turned off both mods that I added that might've been messing with stealth/assassination kills, but nothing changed. Still was crashing. Might have to really guess what it might be lol
Wait I think I figured out what it might be. It might be a completely different mod.
Yup it was crashing when it was trying to fail a mission I got from the Merc while disguised. Was using the "Task Giver's Demise" mod which doesn't ruin your rep when said task giver dies.

A little help, I forgot to ask about this earlier, I'm currently running a models overhaul mod that I really like, but it doesn't fully apply to all NPCs, as you can see by the provided example. I'm guessing that it's clashing with a Vanilla mod, I've disabled the Blackgrowl model mods but seem to be missing another. Anyone know which one it is?

Honestly at first it caused me to balk too. But its very easy to repair things, and frankly I end up with more armor and weapons than I do in the vanilla economy. XD Plus it feels better to loot enemies and actually fix the guns, in addition to you cant just cheese midgame by staying south and farming cash to buy a nosrog

That is honestly what I tell people when they ask about gamma. When you get used to it, it just feels right in every way. It feels like how the game would be if made 10 years later than it was.
What I do notice, is that I can't use files/ramrod/pliers to repair parts

Basically in GAMMA there is a distinction between a part that is dirty and needs some love and minor work, and something that is in such bad conditioned its actually damaged.
Kinda cool, so basically as long as it's above 60% it can be fixed. Is there a way to put that down to 50? Like, I don't want to make it like simple easy, but at leeeaaast a bit of a fairer chance?

I think Grok spent 8+ hours a day for 8 months on it. The answer is you have to know modding, and you have to edit files, or remove files and use the ones in the mod you want. Im all for custom modlists, but you cant just slap mods randomly onto 333 mods if they need to be that delicately places without spending time adjusting them

In order to update your Anomaly 1.5.1 to 1.5.2, follow this:

Go to your \GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer folder, open version.txt and write the number you can see.
Also did you remove weapon parts?
version is 634 weapon parts are enabled here's my mod list if it helps

I think it may be the lootboxes mod
This is the correctly updated one. Effectively what's happening is something added in one of the mods has a wpn class, but does not have parts. Doesn't have to be a gun. OR something like a melee weapon or explosive is not given the appropriate kind. Honestly you could disable parts type fixer
If you find the item, you could also simply add it as an exclusion modeling the gauss just replace gauss with whatever comes directly after wpn_ and before the next underscore
I thought it was lootboxes but having a second look I don't know if it is may just disable the mod it's much easier than trying to find the item
Yeah. All it honestly does is fix a very rare bug with weapons spawning with armor parts.

I see the problem both andtheherois and groks kriss vector share the same mod parts file both called mod_parts_kriss.ltx I don't know if I can rename one with stuffing something up

gammas is this : w_kriss_vector.ltx andtheherois is this: w_kriss_vector9.ltx
Remove the -4 and replace the one in the mod. That will now ignore both vectors

If you find another problem on take a look at line 21s if statement and copy ot and replace kriss with that first part of the name

Initially the edit to your file didn't work. So I tried removing mod_parts_kriss.ltx from andtheherois's vector and copying the contents of the file to the gamma kriss vector mod_parts_kriss.ltx instead. I loaded up your file with my edits and it works. No crashes and all vectors are now displaying parts properly. Your script doesn't like having duplicate mod_parts_kriss.ltx I guess? Anyway since it works I'm going to make a copy of the gamma kriss vector file so the next update doesn't erase my edit thank you very much for the help Larkin.
Honestly good work! I don't think it was necessarily my mod or ands but the combination of both. My guess is whichever one was being over written was basically loading in and the parts didn't have proper names which caused a nil reference. Effectively just a not great circumstance XD. I'm glad it's fixed though
Thank you 🙂 yeah you are right it would be a combination of andtheherois's kriss mod the gamma kriss vector mod and your script . It was the gamma kriss vector that was winning a conflict with andtheherois's kriss vector so my edit fixed this conflict. I did suspect it was something to do with the mod_parts_kriss.ltx being in both files and after checking everything in my inventory I found nothing else that was meant to have weapon parts that weren't displaying so I knew it was something to do with the kriss's. It is generally never a good idea to have duplicate files in mods it may seem to work initially but you never know when something you may add might break it. I needed to fix it either way as it wasn't displaying the parts for andtheherois's kriss mod.
I want to have items in the stashes, it feels empty as hell at least for me but i dont know why i disable this one, and it keeps spawning empty stashes even in a new save dwd

Look around. The enemies Don't usually wait in the area the quest marker points to
yeah the mods both use the same dltx part file. whichever one you have loaded latest will override the other. The easy fix is to just rename one of the part files lol

as long as you dont touch the first two parts of a dltx file the rest doesn't matter

I’m playing with pretty much all the default mods enabled after first installing Gamma, but I wanted to keep one mod that I’ve been using for a while which is Dialog Dynamic UI, it changes how the dialog box appears and such, although it causes everything outside of the dialog box to blur while using something in Gamma, I’ve tested it with a vanilla install of Anomaly and there’s no blur issue there and I’ve already spent roughly and hour trying to pin point which mod or mods are causing Dialog Dynamic UI to blur my screen during dialog, but have had no luck, does anyone know what the possible cause could be?

if they don't have any, go save and load

ok, idk if it's vanilla or a mod problem but i've the last dawn quest to kill the military in Machine yard. But there is nobody here but the marker is still active and the quest don't update (i've heard a rifle against a controller, but when i searched there was nobody, i've not kill any people here)

@white rose Manually selecting something like cloudy3 shows the lighting correctly, and then pressing Play makes everything dark again.
I was able to break weather by loading the quicksave it broke in again, lmao
