G.A.M.M.A. has a default mod list to make sure everyone has the same things, everything goes back to default when you update or you do a complete installation, it's normal.

Yeah, I purposely saved right before the crash, it happens exactly at the turn of 05.01 game time. I changed the command in the script file like you said, here's the log.
give me night_mutants.script from gamma i'll add 50 lines of prints for everything

So... I did several tries and fast-forwarded through several days, but the morning crash is only reproduced from the saves of one particular night.
Updated: It stopped reproducing from that night saves, I even slowed down the time roll.

Hey in the latest update, apparently the bush situation was solved through custom exe's provided by demonized on Github, which do include DLTX, Shader Based Scopes, Screen Space Shaders, ARX (I think it's optional), and numerous other engine edits. I'm fairly certain you've heard of it.
My question is: Can this fix be integrated into GAMMA? If not, why?

just installed gamma and played it successfully for a couple hours yesterday. Today I came back, enabled a few mods according to the custom instructions, and now it always gets stuck on the splash screen after clicking 'run' in MO2. Not sure what went wrong?

Has anyone tried toxic air with gamma yet? Is it overkill on the rads? I know it doesn't crash, but I don't want to put hours into my play through to find out I die in 1 minute in zaton with the best gear.

Oh shit, so I installed Inverno and Graupel and deleted my shader cache when doing so. Decided to revert back to default; should I delete my shader cache again?
Toxic air does not add any kind of radiation. It adds zones where you need filters to be able to walk in without taking damage

@whole jungle so well, trading isn't really required for beating the game I've noticed (renegade runs) but, getting new routes that lead to northern maps are absurdly rare now it seems, can I revert the map drops / PDA's containing routes back?
pdas already drop routes, i have played with inaccessible zone and it works just fine except that its tedious without buying them

G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key - Enable
Ammo Check - While in game, check your keybinds
KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it. The only safe way to do so, is by loading a save where you don't have the mod enabled or by starting a new game.

yes, but id use debug to spawn a few mags (that you would have found already if you would have started with mags) cause otherwise your pretty fucked by having only 1 mag

i dont know but FYI tool kits are unlimited if you use them at a vice/workbench, they do not consume charges this way
I just pointed this out in stalker-general but figured it would probably be good to mention it in a channel that I think is appropriate, but i'm pretty sure with magazines installed it becomes impossible to load the 12.7x55 deagle since it seems no magazine exists for it, and you can't direct load it like a mosin despite only using one round.
I think the same problem might also exist for the glock 17 when converted to .45.

Yeah expedition 2.0 can work but you need delete others things like hd models and other scripts what can cause problems 🙂 If you want i can send you my unpack and help you make it work. But personally cant still make beef nvgs with expedition shaders 🙂
So if you don't mind using vanilla nvgs, everything else works

Expedition no. I modified it to work with gamma and added him manually.. I have all the other mods thanks to the gamma installer. I put my unpack to the end and turned off some mods from gamma like weathers and skies redux and beef nvgs.

Nope 😄 Not full modpack.. Because there is alot others things like scripts and hd models. Gamma using Dux characters. I just deleted everything what could cause problems and was not needed. So in the end I'm left with some textures and shaders. I can send you my unpack that worked with gamma. What I have for personal use )

In order to update your Anomaly 1.5.1 to 1.5.2, follow this:
- Download the 1.5.2 update: (https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152)
- Extract the update into the root of your Anomaly folder
- Overwrite everything when asked to do so
- Open the installer with admin rights
- Click on
Update GAMMA data->Full GAMMA Installation
So somehow my game got fucked up between yesterday and today. It was working fine last night, loaded up the save today, BHS shows full red body with no health and limbs are yellow health. My sprint animations with weapons are different. I also don't have any breathing sounds or mask fog animations even though those settings are on. I did a full install for the update and still having exact same issues. Don't even know where to begin to troubleshoot this

hey is anyone else having an issue with unjaming thier weapons after activating Mags redux. i follow the step posted yesterday. can i turn on gamma reload unjam same key option and will it bring it back to using the reload key top clear a jam?
What key are you hitting to unjam?
Also no you can not have that mod on, as it wont let you reload in mags.

No worries about being new, also if you are only using mags, you can still post in #🔨base-gamma-support in the future. Unless mags also changed it, default unjam should be 'Z'

Anytime. You might try checking the MCM settings, but I really do not believe it has that option, and I have torn through some of the mags files. Again I could be totally wrong though
anyone knows where i can find some saiga mags with mags redux and trader overhaul? Duty trader only has like 3 mags for VSS on 2k relationship and that's it, barmen has a crapton of mags but not for saiga :/

Chatty Companions is really cool only is crashes the game far too regularly. And also sometimes gets stuck with repeating messages untill the trigger of the message is dealt with it or moved away from.
That's an easy fix. Just adjust the hud for the gl sight
Just completed the "Miracle Machine" quest in the laboratory - and it was a nightmare trying to finish the last room (with the large machine and all the levers you have to pull).
I had no issues with crashes in my gameplay other than the occasional rare one (both in the previous version + the most recent one from 8/28). However, in that last area, and the subsequent area after (the tunnels) the game crashed over and over again to desktop every few minutes, so it was a grind making sure I quicksaved often.
I enabled - Body dots on minimap / Trader Overhaul / New item highlight / Xenotech protects Cordon base / Unlimited Stashes weight
I disabled - Immersive sleep / FDDA Immersive sleep patch / Limited Fast travel / More aggressive NPC looting GAMMA Economy / GAMMA Economy no BAS injection / GAMMA No trade with random stalkers / GAMMA Sleep balance

check if you don't have any mod that changes the character dialogs
should be character_desc_escape.xml or smt like that

search in the MO2 for that file, check the winning mod

I think for the most part I figured out the ammo half, but after talking to Grok I'm not sure it's viable as crafting "old" ammo or obtaining it as loot is removed in GAMMA

yeah that was what I was trying to get to work, looks like all the special ammo is remakes of the old ammo types so just had to disable the old to new mod but there are additional changes made for crafting and loot drops that will prevent getting it any legit way
also not sure if the saiga12 isg version is being affected by something but my animations vs the sounds for reloading is way off on timing, not sure if anyone else can check that and provide feedback

To be honest I haven't checked, but I think if you skip a couple of game days, the arsenal of new spawning stalkers will change, but I would recommend starting a new game so it is in full effect. Np, np.

Hey, @gritty reef! I have to say it happened again with the Night mutants addon and I was able to skip the time from 11 p.m. to 05:01 a.m. when the crash happened (sry, but it didn't work from an earlier save). I've attached a log with the night time rewind. I don't want to replay the whole game night again, I've done a lot that night. 
I like your addon and hope you can fix it or tell me how to deal with this.
so i disabled the daddy/mommy token notifications for campfire saving, yet they still constantly show up in the most up to date version of gamma, is there any way i can fix it?
(didn't select campfire saving in the beginning, only using it with YACS, but in my run from earlier today i enabled it in the beginning too and there was the same issue

if you are willing to do it the hard way, you could make a new save and debug-speedrun the questline until you get to the same spot, hopefully with science man intact
go find him and make note of his location
then use that info for repairing your proper save

Are the changes to artifact stats tied to Artifact Reinvention? If I wanted to play with a mod that necessitates disabling the melter (for example, Dante’s More Artifacts), would every change to artifacts be disabled (including any buffs or new GAMMA artifacts), or just the quality and Melter system?

Yeah shaders are the most likely cause, unfortunately I know like nothing about them, you could try reinstall the preset or clearing the cache, if that doesn't work hopefully someone here knows more about those than me.

He won't be in there, he's not a vanilla character. You need to look in the mods files

some functions are global and some are called from another script

console prints is what is used to get info how code works (in human language xd)

There is the "Log spam remover", but it is enabled in the vanilla Gamma preset and it doesn't seem to affect it. I checked and turned off the bulk of my addons, they mainly consist of configs, texture files and sounds, but so far the same crash.

I wasn't looking at the log file. I was searching for a script that was preventing the addon from working properly. If you meant to disable the "Log spam remover" addon and send you a new log file, you could have just said so.

I know, but I already have written before that the earlier, older daytime saves do not produce the crash, because it does not happen every night. But anyway, I can try to catch it again.

Yeah, sry, I tried again, but from the earliest save with about 19:40, i.e. until the beginning of the night, after a couple of attempts to rewind the whole night, the crash does not happen. 🤷♂️
Btw, I think I found a solution - debug menu F7 ---> F5 reboot and morning crash does not happen, but I don't know how else it affects a save besides this.
@viscid stirrup sorry if I bother you again, I noticed that in "Complete_Lorewise_Outfits_Re-Balance" v1.1 the EXO rebalance file is missing. Should I keep the one inside the version 1.0?
If you mean my Exo Re-Balance, it has no change, so I just didn't reupload it. The first and only version is still relevant.

Like buying weapons at exorbitant prices (unless you are part of the military) and buying/getting specific gear from factions you belong to via dialogue options, for example?
Just disabling gamma's economy makes traders have absolutely everything for sale at a way too cheap price, not quite an option either.
dont disable gamma economy. follow the other method also mentioned in #╭📖faq

Though I don't see much difference if any, except for Loner trader selling a couple armors (not sure if it's because of faction standing with me (~1600), or because I sold him an armor before when I tried disabled eco)
I was lucky enough to get a Hybrid heavy armor so far by "legal" means, so only bought SKS modern and sphere 08 helmet to accompany.
Either way, default anomaly eco is too cheap and trader tiers for it are completely broken in gamma, maybe I should look into some anomaly armor/weapon price rebalances and see if it works together with gamma.
Could anyone please help me? I'm trying to remove Boomsticks & Sharpsticks from my list, but I get crashes on starting a new game. I've tried unchecking everything BaS related but still no luck. Perhaps something I'm not aware of is dependant?
Hi, i deleted trade_presets to be able to sell/buy weapons according to #╭📖faq but i don't see any weapons to buy at traders, i even started new game to check if it's a bug within my save but still no luck, do i need to modify some additional files to get it to work?
i can only sell weapons and armor now but buying it is not an option unless i need to get more rep to see them at traders
I assume you need to wait for trader reset
depending on your progression difficulty could be 24 hrs or 48 i think
you could be right in regard to my existing save file but it's weird that they're unavailable also when i start new game

Hey im trying to get HD models to work and every time i deal damage, the game crashes.
what gamma mods disable maids icons for the pda? Everything else is maids icons except all items that can use the PDA slot (RF Receiver etc). What mod do i need to disable?

That's the only addon i have on top of gamma, so i'm 100% sure that is what causes the issue

Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

The traders seem to be selling guns and armor. Not much, but at least 2-3 guns and armor each. I’m not sure why, the GAMMA economy mods are active and the only custom mods I have are Crossing the Border and Dante’s Artifacts.

switches ammo type of mag depends on the mag don't know if it has a bad effect used on a gun that is not designed for a certain ammo type though you would need to ask
I did try to use it but, the outcome was a bit obscure. sure the mag will change but the caliber stays the same so I could not understand the difference. Sometimes it would add a little up arrow icon (as it upgraded) but no clue what would be the nature of the upgrade

the retool changes the type of ammo you can put in the mag, not the ammo, so if your gun was upgraded to a different caliber you can do that so the mags fit in

no the reflections (with jaggies or dither not sure how to qualify) are there regardless of reshade ssr, although I found out a reshade effect which was amplifying this which is the blooming_hdr.fx. I think they come from one of those mods in MO, probably SSR?
Hey guys, it seems like I got this annoying rare bug where all enemies just stop acknowledging my existence, so I don't get shot or anything by monolith or mercs (I am a loner), I've tried disabling the stealth overhaul and messing with faction relations/incognito cheat to no avail, anything else I can do?

I tried using Enhanced Shaders and Majestic Weathers together and now the starting weather is too dark to see
As in when starting a new save it's literally pitch black, despite it not being nighttime
I checked that but that's not what's going on really
When I have Enhanced Shaders on or Majestic Weather on they work, but when both are together it results in everything being shadowed

Does trader overhaul actually work? It gets overwritten by the GAMMA economy mods, even though the faq suggests that they can work together?
I don't think this has happened to me (yet), but I have been running majestic only for a day and seen few quirks which kind of annoyed me already. I am not sure what to make of it. I do like mostly the light contrasts between interiors and exteriors but skyes and weathers are nothing special. I think I loaded the cfg_load majestic after install that that's it, after I only playerd around with reshade. I installed the majestic reshade but I have used somebody else preset. Here mine if you want to try

its a vanilla anomaly issue. dont use the delayed repairs option

If anyone is getting frustrated with the SIN eating bullets with their little shield, you can edit the value in grok_bo.script
-> \GAMMA RC3\mods\G.A.M.M.A. Close Quarter Combat\gamedata\scripts
-> grok_bo.script
-> line 549 (or Ctrl+F) sin_res = 0.15
This will negate 85% of the damage received, I set mine to 0.66 (34%), it feels rather good, they still soak some damage, but don't eat all your ammo in the process.
As always make a back-up incase you break it.

Honestly sometimes it's just xray shitting itself. Sometimes you get a gun that drops with a full set of armor as parts
Npcs will disappear for no reason, or appear behind you for no reason
When I'm running mags I try to keep my Inventory clear of any ammo that goes to the guns in using. It delays the reload when the game has to read your inventory ammo and then figure out you have mags instead

You'll notice you hear a click right after a mag is loaded if you have ammo in your inv vs not. That's the ammo going back into your bag and loading the mag instead

Can anyone tell me how to disable periodic damage while near an anomaly? I guess it's in the Dynamic Anomalies Overhaul addon script files, but I'm not good with scripts.
What I found out, by the example of an electric anomaly: the actor only getting an insane periodic damage with any artifact that gives like -1% to electra protection on the belt (in a container), which breaks limbs and causes the actor to die in a few of seconds.
I figured it out.
I was using the spike artifact and I had a massive streak, but I missed one shot and took a ton of psy damage that made my psy health go down to 0 but it immediately started regaining, making my character stuck in an attempt to suicide but without the screen being black (Since my psy damage went above 0 before the char suicided). To fix being stuck I saved-loaded through console. And from there on every hostile NPC ignores my main character. Even emulated the exact same scenario through debug and it breaks all hostile NPC's in the same way.
What a way to ruin my entire 10 hour playthrough :D
I just updated GAMMA and when an emission started, I get damage and die in like 10 seconds even when I'm in a safe zone. Never had this before and I didn't add any addon's since last time I updated.

I have a Gravi and an Empty equipped which both reduce psy resistance
And yes, quest updated to stay in shelter. I even tested staying outside during the emission and running inside a safe zone after I began taking damage. Still died.
unequip the artefacts with negative psy res while waiting for emissions and psy storms. its a "feature" that just comes with the anomalous resistance system
negative anomalous resistance impacts your resistances more than whats visible on the stats

Okay I managed to get it fixed. I did a stupid and updated my GAMMA Addons after i installed it, so Im assuming that was the cause. Will be fixed by the time grok adds it to the main modlist

GAMMA UI has a texture for square dot minimap so it keeps in line with the other minimalist stuff

That happens when you get hit sometimes. You just have to reset your fov manually
i dont have the flashlight on, but this "high-brightness" circle pops up on their own on random when i look at dark spots like bushes or interiors, it just blinds me

Mods under the G.A.M.M.A Disabled category are disabled for a variety of reasons: compatibility, performance, bugs, busy hands, etc. DO NOT ENABLE THEM FOR ANY REASON.
After reading this you'll probably ask: "But why are those mods there if you can't activate them?". Because G.A.M.M.A. as a whole is STILL IN BETA, and no, Grok can't simply remove them. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.
And you'll also ask: "What about the other disabled mods that aren't under the "Disabled" category, then?". Don't enable them if you don't know what you're doing. Ask in #🔨base-gamma-support before doing anything.
DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST, they're disabled for the same reasons written above. If you use them, forget about #old-bugs or #🔨base-gamma-support, don't use these two channels. Use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

thing is, gamma is built on top of the addons, modifying their already existing values to 'balance' or to add on top of them, starting to disabling things at random could break the game or rather make some settings useless
for example you can't disable BAS easily, you will have to start searching for all the patches and settings of whole gamma modlist to prevent crashes due to a missing item/section added by bas

Hello, I'd like to add GAMMA economy to my own personal use modpack. Gamma is too big for me taste and goes too far from vanilla. But I would really enjoy playing with no trader stock. Unfortunately launching the game with the GAMMA economy addon crashes on save file load. So what other addons do I need to make this work?

The error you are getting is because one of the addons is attempting to reference stealth values, I would try turning on the better stealth addon and see if that helps.

i may have a problem with graphics/reshade and/or the console: haven't played for a couple of months and had to update everything, after that i started a new character and noticed that the game seemed too green looking. Basically white colors are still white or at least it doesnt seem to look greenish, but everything else is off, like is has a green tint mixed with its original color. Tried disabling all the reshade options and then removing reshade itself but nothing worked. so i tried using the console to change some setting that may have been wrong, that's when i found that after i change a setting, for example lumscale_hemi it actually changes the value just to refresh after some seconds and going back to the original value. Anyone know what's going on? thanks

go to MCM and search for dynamic tonemap, and disable it with the button

I'm baffled but I'm going to try loading up normal GAMMA and selectively enabling mods
trying to get this package in army warehouses but its bugged, the lamp artifact shows its right there by the stash but i cant see it even if i hold F i cant pick it up, tried checking under the map too to see if i could get it but it just isnt there even clipped thru the stash but no sauce, is there something i can do to bypass this or am i just not going to be able to get packages for the rest of my playthrough? 
the lamp artefact makes stashes glow to, even if they are empty

I'm honestly not sure that will work for you fully. This is the thing about mods, when they modify things disabling them doesn't always remove the modification. The error at hand seems to indicate that something modified the rest per hour value or removed it, now it's just a bad reference that a base vanilla script is struggling with.

Does anyone know of a way to get rid of artifact durability but still be able to keep the melter and make new ones? I found that when I played a few months ago the grind to get new artifacts was a bit too much since I would have to craft so many of one artifact to improve it's durability.

AFAIK I don't think I am. Unless radiation patches can somehow still hurt you even if you don't build up any mSv
Again I have no idea if they are radiation patches btw because all that happens is my screen goes a bit extra fuzzy but there isn't any radiation clicks or mSv buildup
If you have a geiger counter you will hear the clicks. and be able to hit 8 to see the mSv. I believe that it can hurt you if your rads resistance is too low. What Rads resist does your helmet provide?
Basically no issues in your log, no damage coming from monsters or stalkers, my assumption at this point is either radiation, or anomaly. Is your character coughing?
Suit currently gives 5% ext rad res and helmet currently gives 19% ext rad res

I can think of 3 things watching that honestly. A - There is an "invisible" Anomaly, B - Radiation patch, C - Your arm actually has temp health and the display bugged. OR my other question is did you turn on any extra animations, and when you get to butcher can you still heal and interact with things?

Uhh I am very confused now, shadowplay messed up so I couldn't catch it but basically between the save I loaded and now, I apparently took some random leg health damage when leaving the farm and getting to garbage (had the geiger counter out in my hand already at this point) so my health at the save I loaded was 86% and then my health at the autosave point after the transition was at 83%.
Now I've sprinted to butcher's place with and got like a few tiny clicks in a spot near the helicopter yard but have apparently now ticked down to 72% health

Honestly, I would try this, go to default mod list. Make the same run, see if it happens (obviously if you are using mags keep the mags stuff on) If it doesnt happen, start adding the mods back in 1x1. My honest assumption though is you are skirting the very edge of big radiation puddles and basically getting just enough to mess you up, but not enough to build up.
Slowing down the YT video I can hear what sounds like the start of the cough sound like right after you take damage. Its very weird man.
So I've reloaded the save several times now just to try and look at what it was, aaaand it isn't radiation. I think it might be thirst but I also think it might be scuffed.
It seems that I consistently (even if I just stand still at the spawn) take damage about 20-25 seconds into loading. The only difference I've noticed is that if I drink the momentI load in I take less damage, from what the saves say on the health percentage if I drink I go from 83-79 and if I don't drink I go from 83-72

I honestly dont have an answer for this.
Imma just attribute it to the zone being the zone lol, I also don't know why the thirst indicator is even showing I'm only down 1 bar

It's the debuff tied to getting your torso hit.
Essentially, if you take a decent chunk of health out of your torso, first aid and then don't post-heal, after a certain threshold other limbs and your overall health will go down as part of the debuff applied to low torso health
The delay looks too big to me, but that could absolutley be it.
What in the fuck, it is actually that but for some reason if I'm standing still it takes less from my torso. If I'm full sprint I actually lose a chunk of my torso PAST the yellow first aided bit
I don't know if it gets affected by anything else, but you can try debuging some meds in and post healing your torso
An antidote or vinca should be enough for a test
