hi all, having a weird issue. All of a sudden emissions kill me whether I'm in shelter or not, doesn't seem to matter. I'm playing mostly default but I disabled the sleep limiting mods, that's all. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
Which mods change how radiation works and are they safe to disable?

I guess this is the spot to post this? I added in Mags Redux and Trader Overhaul (I think that's all that applies in this situation), and vendors are selling full mags at the same price as empty ones. Not that I particularly mind, since that's cost savings of like 10k rubles right there, but I know that shouldn't be the case.

Traders have had a couple of glitches now, where it'll show one price when in the lower portion, but when I add it to buy, it'll correct to what it's supposed to sell for. Wasn't paying much attention at that particular moment, so not sure if it applied in that situation specifically.

CTRL + M should open the "choose the folder" window

I was watching a streamer play a modpack with BHS installed, and somehow they died in a weird way after killing a Controller (Controller Overhaul). He's pretty sure it's a BHS bug that caused him to take random damage and thus died.
Here's the clip for reference, would love some feedback on what happened.

most of the addons in that section have been disabled because of issues they caused
its recommended to never enable them

Mods under the G.A.M.M.A Disabled category are disabled for a variety of reasons: compatibility, performance, bugs, busy hands, etc. DO NOT ENABLE THEM FOR ANY REASON.
"But why are those mods there if you can't activate them?", you probably will ask after. Because G.A.M.M.A. as a whole is STILL IN BETA, and no, Grok can't simply remove them. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.
That red cross in there it's fine, don't worry about it.
DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST, they're disabled for the same reasons written above. If you use them, forget about #old-bugs or #🔨base-gamma-support, don't use these two channels. Use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

There seems to be something going in truck cemetart causing a lot of people to lose insane frames
This happened to be on a previous playthrough. Deleting common squads helped but the frames started to drop again after a few minutes
That's why I stopped going there

Turned on Trader Overhaul and disabled all the necessary bits with GAMMA Economy to make it work. I'm at "Maximum" (2352) rep with Loners and went to Sidorovich to see if he was selling the Fang Exoskeleton like the ModDB page says he should. I've done it for a few real days now with no luck. I ended up checking the debug menu for the first time and saw it wasn't there either. Were the outfits disabled or am I just being a fool and looking at the wrong areas? Do I need the "Heavy Pockets" achievement?

I went into the mod folder for Trader Overhaul to check that while I was waiting, and it seems to be installed. MO2 isn't one of my skills though so I may be wrong.

So that means the B&S patch isn't being read either? It's further into the same string of files.

It's cheesy, but I'm using it for a casual run before I bully myself with a straight GAMMA experience.
Sorry if this is all obvious; Like I said, I'm not good with MO2 and I worked all this out for myself, so figured I'd share just incase.
Figured out that the structure is wacky because the author wants you to overwrite the "gamedata" folder of the Main Folder with the subsequent patches/additions. So the main folder will work as intended when installed in MO2, but none of the other stuff will because it hasn't overwritten the mod's original gamedata.
Made a renamed copy of the mod with the correct version of everything molded together and threw it haphazardly into MO2; the Outfits were in-game with some minor bugs like one or two not having icons, but this also revealed that the B&S Patch is currently outdated anyways, causing many weapons and items to go poof, which isn't a very good trade-off in my eyes.
I also made the mistake of trying to make the "Outfit Icons" that were included work, but it seems to have only disabled the updated icons of everything in the game, which took a while to fix.
I should've just gotten a proto-exoskeleton and some plates. 
Is GAMMA's CinematicVFX edited in any way from the original?

have an issue with mouse lag in the game after a few hours session, had the same issue with the normal anomaly aswell
Have you tried disabling reshade? I thought i did notice a difference with it disabled, just press Page Down to see if it helps
Im assuming it has nothing to do with it just due to the fact ive had this issue with normal anomaly aswell, without reshade. Basically i downloaded gamma because of the issue on normal anomaly. I thought the modlist would make it so these kinda bugs wouldnt happen
this is the issue, as you can see when i look towards the buildings my game runs perfectly normal no issues at all but when i turn around, fps stays high but the camera movement is completely stuttering
hard to completely represent in video form obviously but theres huge friction when i try to move my camera/mouse
Hmm, I would try disabling any overlays as well like Nvidia, etc.. I'm afraid thats all i can suggest :/
i actually just restored the user.ltx to default and that fixed the issue, however now we have encountered another bug, the white flickering screen lol

Just installed the game, launched new game, everything works. However, I didn't like that the traders don't sell any suits nor weapons
So I closed the game, went back to MO2 and ticked the Traders Overhaul mod, next I opened the game and launched new game and... Sidorovich still has no weapons nor armors
Did I miss something? I also have Mags Redux enabled and GAMMA unjam/reload disabled if that is of importance

im having an issue with the latest version of the modpack and the mags redux option. none of my weapons will properly reload anymore despite having the appropriate mags and having them attached to my loadout

I tried to go back a few saves before that happened, but same result, albeit it worked for me when I pressed the scope button a few times, bit it came back after i traveled a few dozen of meters
bit late, but try going to controls and binding free look to alt or something
then see if using fixes your camera issue
I've got the same issue, an animation will play where the gun is put away, then brought back out still empty. Restarting the game or reloading a previous save doesn't fix it. Reloading is still possible via the inventory actions, but the R key just stopped working. I've had no problems for the last few hours, it only just started.
you guys need to deactivate unjam/reload addon and rebind your unjam and reload buttons

I followed the guide that Apollo sent me; I decided to keep GAMMA Economy and only deleted trade_presets.ltx file
Now I can sell weapons and armors to traders, but still don't see any in their stock, I suppose it's because of the low Supply Lvl?
and with more goodwill, those guns will start to appear in traders' stocks?

Been crashing about 15-20 seconds after I wake up from sleeping. Never had any issues w crashes before, worked fine last night when I updated my game too. Just suddenly whenever I wake up from sleeping my game crashes

make sure you have the latest installer version 3.7
unrelated, but the path you have anomaly in can cause issues, its really not recommended to have gamma or anomaly in special folders

Grok's "Better Quick Release System" doesn't work somehow. When I use it, I only have my mags and ammo, not my meds. Did it break after 1.5.2 maybe?

Was trying to get to Zaton through the guy in the Merc base. Crashes during load screen. I followed the guide in the #╭📖faq to delete common squads and scouted the discord search to see if there were any other fixes. Saw others had similar issues but no fixes have worked for me thus far. Deleting common squads allowed me to spawn in Zaton but after a few seconds would crash again.
I tried doing a full a reinstall of gamma but no luck.
Also tried to walk there manually and same thing happens upon entering Jupiter from Lamansk. Army Warehouses and Dead City are perfectly fine.
As far as I can tell the extra mods I have enabled wouldn't affect it, but heres the list just in case its helpful

UPDATE: I disabled every single one of my additional mods and it is now working. Gonna go 1 by 1 to see which one it was haha
Managed to fix it: was caused by my EFT HUD addon it seems, not sure why but I can live without it

To clean your "shaders_cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Well, that's an entire different set of weathers, so it will be different from the usual ones from GAMMA
It's better in my opinion
But in case you don't like it, I suggest you reinstall and not checking the box for weathers

had the same issue, check gamma or brightness, they make the sky white if theyre too high, or check the reshades enabled pressing the home key
Changing the gamma or brightness should not be needed more than necessary
But I'm using my own so, can't say for sure
agressor reshade made the sky white in my game, when that happens just disable watchdogs tonemapping

Not the first time I had a save bricked after an update so I'm not too bothered with restarting really

whatever addon you added probably has shaders inside, if edleting shader cache doesn't work, maybe it isn't compatible with gamma, or you will have to edit the shaders to make it work
Ill try in a second, but I have no shader addons running except for beef's motion blur fix which worked last update
well I found out what the problem was, it was YAWM
not sure why, but it makes every single texture white
Sounds like a load order problem, try to load it earlier (if not after the audio section of the load order), and delete shader cache again

I think you cant uninstakl duty expansión in a playthrough
as far as i know, duty expansion just doesnt work with 1.5.2 or gamma because of some issues (not that it was perfect in 1.5.1

Long shot but i manually installed all 325 mods in the order of mo2 becuase im playing on a mac m1 running win11 arm on parallels and it cant do the virtual disk stuff mo2 does. if it doesn't work and in dx9 looks weird, try spawning a weapon from BAS that has a laser
and try enabling or disabling the laser holding the default flashlight keybind 'L' for a couple of seconds
and see if it can 'fix' the weird visuals

does anyone play this in a 4k resolution? It was running great in 4k at near max settings (about 60 to 70 FPS) for a while, and today whenever I am in the 4k resolution my FPS shoots down to about 22 and my GPU sits at 100% load (even with minimal graphics settings and all steps taken #old-framerate-optimisation ). The moment I set the resolution to 2k at max graphics with enhanced shaders and screen space shaders and stuff back on, my FPS sits around 80 with my GPU at around 85% load. Just super weird that it happened today.
My GPU is a 3080, my CPU is a Ryzen 9 3900x
I don't mind playing in 2k, it looks almost the same, but I'm gonna miss borderless haha

I'm running on a 3070 and had to go down to 1440p. 4k is too slow in certain maps(great swamp, etc). I think it's just over time, there are more and more things getting spawned thus cutting down your fps.

Grenades are making no impact sound when NPCs throw them, they just explode with no warning. 
Footsteps are barely audible when they work, too. Is that just normal now?
I believe thats an issue with ogg files
they sometimes have a limited range for sounds
I just try and move if I hear granada etc
or if they stop firing and I don't hear/see reloading
Hey, I really like to play with the ambient level music and I don't really know if Gamma plays all ambient tracks regardless of daytime and location. There is a little mod called "More Level Music v4" which I used before with Anomaly. It's basically just a game_level_music.ltx in te configs folder which allows to add some lines with custom tracks playing everywhere in the game. I combined that with the Ambient Music Pack in Anomaly. Any idea if that would cause any trouble? Thanks!
I have over 700 relation with Loners and Clear Sky as a Loner, but Traders are still at supply level 1 for me. Is it a bug or will it take some time or smth?
Prof. Kalancha and Librarian are at Level 1, only Spore is at lvl 2.
spore's Level is increased by rep. technicians and doctors by doing the quests f.i. basic tools, advanced tools iirc - could be wrong

yeah techs level via tools; each toolkit you give them unlocks more stock, including the repair kits you could make with that toolkit

couple issues: my mp5 will no longer reload, and my sens will change itself to a very specific 0.071 sometimes. I'm only using a couple disabled addons: blindsides knife anims and mags with the trader mags addon.
you had Mags active for a while already? did an update recently?
yeah, I've had mags active since I installed
and there was an update this morning I believe
then check if mags is still active and unjam/reload is active again
and keybinds need to be re-set again too
unless you do a save of the user ltx and mcm settings
well mags, knife anims and mags traders are always disabled so before I launch I enable those three
and disable jams
keybinds are always the same before and after updating
I have all my mags in my loadout so thats not the issue
they revert to standard after an update, and the reload reverts to F10

Hi ppl, I have an issue where GAMMA crashes on Transitions. The start point is the Great Swamp and I've no issues transiting from the Great Swamp to Agroprom and back via the Northern point. But when I try to enter Yantar from Agroprom, the game crashes on the loading screen. 1) I have HD models enabled as per 'additional addons' and have also disabled 'Better Portrait Icons', 2) I don't have an AMD GPU. 3) I've followed the 'CRASHING ON TRANSITION OR FAST TRAVEL TO A CERTAIN LOCATION OR FROM A CERTAIN LOCATION' 4) My GPU 'Core 0' is disabled.

Didnt see them so far or i oversaw them. So it is possible with those cleaning kits, gotcha.

they unlock more stuff after a restock
you can also craft them
but they take quite a few mats at the beginning
and keep some kerosene and cloth masks - they give the best repair bonus for bringing that gun above 60%
then you can use your normal items
items that repair above 90% are the cheapest, so keep guns in tip top shape
This is a bit of a cursed idea but would disabling armour exchange perhaps fix my problem with Petrenko selling no armours for me ?

Well er, I didn’t disable economy and economy no bas injection, I kept those because the economy is interesting and nice. I did however do the suggested action for keeping them active while supposedly recovering the sales/purchases of guns and armors
Removed trade_presets.ltx as suggested and the result is what I’ve been mentioning here
As a dutier with max goodwill with duty, moderate with ecos and loners and minor with CS, only Loris and Sakharov have armors available, nobody sells guns
not so much a bug but when i updated my gamma i now have that weird box to the right showing my magazines i have in my loadout. anyone know what to do to tick that off?

If you need to know the problem it is that when I try the start a new game it crashes a few seconds right after the load screen shows.

That's what I thought. Was only crashing so far on that one artifact. Also getting CTD when asking for jobs from stalkers, probably due to the same mod. Not sure if I should keep it and deal with the CTD or remove it. Artifact hunting is one of my favorite things to do in the game
Report the errors to the mod author and wait until it gets updated. It's not worth the hassle for extra ctds

Hi all, where can I find the ogg soundfiles of the BaS M4 Tactical? the ones in the BaS sound folder are not the ones playing, and looking at the ltx file, it references "wpn_m4_sounds" and comments the other snd out. So where are they? I assume they are tweaked through JSRS, but the M4 ogg files in those folders also sound nothing like what is played in-game. can anybody help me?

I have the default GAMMA load order. so I scoured all folders but I was not able to find the ogg files that sound like in game. My suspicion is now, that there might be some config/script files that tweak how the sounds play in game. could that be the case? so that playing ogg files from the desktop will never actually sound like ingame?
Look through any dltx files. Changes made by those won't show up as overriding game files

And whichever way I set them up, the MPC doesn't seem to load (Army Kettle still has 8 uses, and the recipes still require vodka). FC runs just fine. And yes, I'm using the MPC patch for FC. The same combo worked fine when installed manually in vanilla Anomaly, but refuses to work in GAMMA (either a GAMMA-related or MO2-related problem, but I have no idea where should I look)
I load them last, and I load FC first, then MPC, then the patch. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Should I disable some GAMMA addon?
are you using the DLTX?
most likely you are using the direct cook.ltx file
and there's probably somewhere in the gamma modlist which overrides some values from that file with DLTX
and makes the DLTX override have higher priority than the default cook.ltx
I've tried the DLTX version as well though
in which case it won't matter where you put in on the modlist
(there are two versions of MPC to choose from, and I've tried both DLTX and NON-DLTX)
The NON-DLTX required the patch
to begin with the dltx version of your MPC doesn't even touch the max uses

in MO2 of gamma search for this in the path bar
where it says army bowler, delete that section
the army bowler and the max uses lines

check that the mcm addon is installed correctly. if not, just right click and reinstall
you can also just update using a full installation, there were a few addon updates and this was also fixed in one of the updates
just wondering something; i’ve been using the USEC 3 voiced actor mod, and i recently started a merc play through, but all the hunger/sleep/thirst sounds are the voiced actor saying stuff such as “ugh, i need to eat something” or “damn i’m thirsty”, whereas it’s been the default hunger stomach growl sound and yawning as any other faction

There's a bug that occasionally happens where on transition the game will mess up the hud and the frames will drop/ stuttering like crazy

this error is occurring, and i’ve isolated it to ZCP, but cannot figure out how to fix it
i believe the issue is caused by the game registering the script to have items have a random count of uses, as spawning a debug item (which crashes when spawned) under the same name
