They're an incredible tool when fighting against Bloodsuckers and Psysuckers because without them they're invisible until they're right on top of you, with them they're lit up like a Christmas tree.

That's pretty sweet. Would have been real useful in the job Freedom gave me to take out the super Bloodsucker in the village there. Turned out to just be two normal Bloodsuckers, but finding them at night and around the fireball anomaly was a bitch even with night vision.

Stalker videos always look like shit. Yours looks just like every other "good" stalker video out there. Entirely watchable. Even a channel like brainjacket, which makes artsy fartsy high quality stalker vids, still looks like shit because of compression artifacts and such. I think you're fine.

didn't enable folliage mod, difficulty was on hard, hardcore aim turned on, and god mode for testing because played for 8 hours and it seemed too easy because AI was making stupid decisions. Like: looking another way, walking pass by me, reacting too late, running around instead of hiding, reloading every few shots and missing a lot of shots as well, even on hardcore aim. And just wanted to know if I have a bug or is this is how AI works in Anomoly. Will try play more and as you said to go more north, will see how it goes

@flat sunI put both sliders of enemy dispersion to 1 and removed stealth mod and invisibility was off. They did notice me sooner, but they still would miss a lot, run around without shooting and constantly reload in a clear day. What's worse, that when they catch me from behind or the sides they would still miss and give me lot of time to turn around and kill them. Will try to delete and redownload everything again one last time

im not saying they're perfect, in fact, they can be exploited quite easily once you have a 8x scope and stuff, but still, they're quite the challenge sometimes
if i get ambushed/ someone rushes me from the side, that's it, they dont miss, or have a 10% chance of missing, with any weapon getting ambushed means run is over. i can't peak the same angle ever

Honestly it doesn't feel like the fps is true there, feels much more like 80-100 fps, because there are no micro stutters or lags, the frametime is as smooth as could be. Also it usually lingers above 60 fps, was just a bit much in that scene x3

Oh yeah and except for the zone realitys texture pack, everything is pretty much stock gamma.
All I did to make significant changes is change the rgb values of ES tonemapping, and the color of the sunlight and sunshaft intensity in the weather file. Meaning everything was already in gamma to begin with, meaning if you don't use zone reality, there will be 0 framerate decrease.

That's partially what made me just straight up turn off Chimeras, I'd just finished off the Laundromat as Monolith and got attacked by I think 4 of them at once before I could even react when I was lugging my loot back home.
By the time the emission rolled around you'd killed 4 and were getting attacked by another 3 I'm pretty sure.

There are noticeable stutters when, for example, a big herd of dogs is loading in. Half a second at best.
I had some pretty bad stuck mutant situations, specifically with with dogs, so I'd take the little stutter over a stuck mutant that's an easy cheesy kill.
Besides bigger groups of mutants though, cant say I noticed much of an impact.

Oh yeah, it just jumped around because this zombie wasn't dead but 'knocked down'. It counted as alive but since it was laying on the floor the hitbox was half underground. Game thinks it's stuck repeatedly and tries to fix it.
Doesn't happen with any other mutant.

I did not, and one shot is very dependent on enemy armor, for example i did not knife the first guy on the roof becouse frem previous testing his armor almost never goes down with one stab, unlike the guy in balaclava etc

Little question for those making videos/clips. I have both Medals and Plays.tv on my PC to record when i'm playing. Didn't use both since a long time, which one is better to record some Anomaly? I think Medals is better but would like some advices 🙂 thanks. My goal is not to record full gameplay, but just a few minutes (iirc you can do that with Medals, you press a key and it saves the last X minutes you played right?)

Thanks man! I really appreciate it. Definitely got some improving to do, but I’m having a blast with it so far! Hardest part for that video was finding assets (animations, transitions, sound/music) that fit the vibe I was aiming for. Switching from Ark to this tempo is definitely a slight challenge at first 😂

I mean a lot of this is preference but I personally like gameplay vids that spend a little less time on the transient moments (picking up quests, fiddling with inventory, talking to NPC's, etc)
those moments are all important but I think they don't need to be as prevalent and you could be much more brief with the edit and still convey the necessary context
also the audio on the glitch transitions you're using is really shrill it jumpscared me the first time it hit lmao
I usually add a lowpass filter and rebalance those when I use them because they're really jarring
but like I said, these are just personal preference!

I swear this is my run right now. idk what it is but everywhere I go this game keeps throwing black Chimeras at me. Haven't had to face of 3 at once yet though lmao. Most I've had to deal with was a Pseudogiant and a Chimera (or that time with the Controller and Chimera)
