There needs to be a work around similiar as 5x basic to advanced, but scaled to 5x advanced to expert but not permament, only limited access

Perhaps not! Upon further investigation, weapon unjamming wasn't binded. After binding it to Z and testing it fixed the weird weapon swapping issue. At last, I can use other weapons and attachments. Farewell starter SKS with your single PU scope attachment.
is there any point to using helmets like the ACH? it has almost no radiation protection, which means you can't go anywhere... just for a "decent" level of ballistic protection... feels pointless to use.
Ah yeah, then it was jammed then. Glad it fixed it though, so now you know any random weapon swaps when reloading is because of jams

some outfits have decent radiation resistance but still will only be enough for south maps, so probably no point in using this one

Helmets reduce the camera shake a lot when you are getting headshotted. Also, it prevents lots of ammo to penetrate your head = less headshot damages

the berill5 is a good mid tier suit that can carry you for a while in terms of damage resistances except it has worse anomalous, carry weight and belt slots
compare that to the shell and see if its worth replacing, i personally dont know much about that specific suit

Nosorog = Exo > Exolight > Skat9 > Heavy armors > Hybrid suits > Medium suits > Light suits > SPP suits
Thing is, a 5 slots medium armor with very good artefacts will reach defense cap anyways

Ammo pen works like, if ammo don't pen, then your armor defense is multiplied by a formula that normalize the defense value
(i.e. the scaling works backwards)
(small armors get a higher boost than super heavy armors)
(so you don't get fucked in 2 bullets early on)
But you add artefacts after that
So with like 3 Compass, you reach max defense anyways
Maybe buff the Nosorog a bit then? It was very expensive to rebuild and I honestly don't see much improvement over the regular Exo. +5 carry weight is the only thing that really matters so far.
Doesnt have to be a hard defense buff. Since it is military-style, it could reduce recoil on weapons, for example.

It's a test addon meant to test the new dialogue system coming in Anomaly 1.6. The story and everything else is more an addition to make it playable and let people playtest it and provide feedback. It's why I can't recommend it really, it won't get updated (most probably) and the missions itself are not that great anyway

I only did a couple of missions for him but he has full stock for me.

One thing that is quite useful is if you hover mouse over weapon it shows which kits and spare parts from stash inv and trader that is compatible with it

Hello, I accidentally messed up my particles somehow I believe. The smoke in my game is broke. Whenever I shoot a gun or look at campfire its just black pixels. Would this be under cinematic VFX? I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it but it didnt do anything.

Is there a way to adjust armour condition found on enemies? I set the drop condition in the mod configuration menu for master stalkers between 80-95 but every single master stalker has broken armour with condition around 10
You need to repair the armour you want to use
I get that but I don't think I can repair armor that has 1 condition on each part
IIRC in that case you need to swap parts with good parts using a repair kit
That is the problem I am facing, finding the good parts, I think you can only repair parts that are above 50 condition
The manual tab says that the mechanics can clean guns but not fix the parts and that they cant repair armor but mine fix any armor I bring to 100 on all parts but only clean the guns so I don't know what is wrong with my version of gamma. My version I downloaded about maybe 4 or 5 months ago so is that what's wrong?

I still suggest to use the other one, the field armour toolkit
The other good thing to do is, like I said, keep one armour that you like and (when you find them) swap the broken parts with the "good enough" parts
You can get to it by holding forward against that beam on the left of your SS and then from there you can make a jump to one of the center beams and then carefully walk towards the stash. Definitely one of the harder stashes to get to in the game.

I'm having trouble with the Sortingplus order. Setting the categories rank, such as weapons 1, ammo 2, etc. doesn't seem to work. I have tried a variety of ranks for sorting but they don't change position in my backpack. And, I do have the sorting box ticked on. Does anyone have a fix or an idea?

Fix found: Uncheck the boxes at the top. The wording is unclear, but if you uncheck the Player inventory and Player trade, then you can use the custom sorting.ltx file.

reliability decreases how fast your weapon's condition degrade (or increases max condition i have no idea)
Reliability is good for weapons you use with a suppressor

even if you have a knife in your inventory but not equipped, it will still use the knife. sort of annoying as I usually keep a hunting knife in my inventory to skin animals, but use an axe as a melee weapon.

quick question, does item condition matter when crafting? like if I wanted to craft a backpack, can I use cloth with 0% or 1% condition to craft it? or will it only count for crafting if it is above a certain % condition?
you can use armor parts that are at 0% for crafting, it does not matter

About how many days or kills before I see a helmet or gas mask drop? I've been learning the GAMMA rules in Cordon, but I'd like to head to other zones now and radiation is definitely not something to ignore.
outfits and helmets have a chance to drop and the higher tier ones will start dropping when you are a higher rank, but you should be seeing helmets and outfits on day 1
but dont expect just rookie bandits to drop a good gasmask or outfit
you can probably still survive swamps, darkscape and garbage with the starter helmet
There have been a few bandanas, baclava, and the top only helmet (the icon looks like a scooter half helmet).

you will need to disable a lot of the gamma economy mods
search in the server you will find instructions
no you just need to disable gamma economy and gamma economy no bas injection mods and then enable trader overhaul, you can have both enabled at the same time but you still wont get armors and guns with traders as gamma economy is intended but will see trader overhaul effects
in the game options there is an option for outfit loot: full or progressive, full means you will always get all outfits (but there is a mod that makes it a chance anyways and you can tweak it in mcm but its already tweaked for gamma) and progressive (gamma default) means the higher rank you are, the higher tier suits can actually start dropping from enemies
Mod also highlights "232 - xenotech with balls", "gamma helmets and repair kits" and "gamma artefacts reinvention". Ignore those?

That suit slaps, it's insanely good. One Volat Emerald at ~50% should almost max all environmental protection
I also have the heart of the oasis (which I admitedly cheated to get it to 100% since it can't be empowered) which reduces environmental protection

My volat emerald is at 35% now, but these are my stats with some artis. The suit can have up to 5 attachments, which makes it even better

Even if you are familiar with Anomaly, GAMMA changes so many things that you'll need to read up to understand how to do things. Only keep three of every part which you can use.
right clicking the items and going to the 'details' tab you can see all the items you can use to repair it, in case of weapon/armor you will see the boxkit that requires to repair the barrel

So I tried to do that with my MP5, and each time I remove and put back some of the part, general condition of the gun goes down 5-9%

yes if the gun is in pristine condition you should replace parts using a toolkit and a repair kit

press the home button and check if the default reshade options are enabled? there are also other shader related mods in the modlist that should be enabled by default
make sure you have 273(the default) addons active in mo2
if the reshade isnt active try clicking on presets and choosing the gamma one, if that does not work go to gammaRC3/grok's modpack installer/gamma/modpack patches and move the bin folder to your anomaly folder and replace

Why does not all mercs attack me even though they declared war on my faction? No disguise, I just walked past merc checkpoint on army warehouse headed to dushman, not even one merc attacked me they're just sitting, headed upstairs then one squad fired on me. Noticed that those who attacked me were legends and master on their ranks and the ones who ignored me are professionals and below.
I already mentioned this question last time and was not answered so I started a new run and still the same after a faction declares war on us they just don't attack me. I just notice that there are squads spawned at the beginning where they just stay at the faction base. I'm wondering if they are not affected by dynamic relations.

To get to the point, do you know why the character seems to stutter when you walk through a doorway? I haven't seen this happen in regular Anomaly, but it does now. Essentially, walking or running through a doorway makes the character glitch/teleport forwards.
BaS is the boomsticks and sharpsticks mod, its probably missing files and textures so you have to download it manually from moddb and put it in the gammaRC3/downloads folder and then run a complete installation #💽how-to-update
so take BAS and extract it into my anomaly folder again?

You can do that with the normal sleeping bag too so idk what the tent gives you
you cant use the normal sleeping bag to sleep out in the open

the tent can protect you from emissions i think
you cant sleep in a tent, you still need a sleeping bag in it

youll notice walking up stairs itll be janky going up but less so going down
and that sprinting up stairs is actually slower than just walking up

There were so many changes over past few weeks, It feels like cheating by continuing on save I started my playthrough a few months ago
, what would be recommended difficulty to start over? I played medium/scavenger + YACS saving and had to turn tail many times due to crushing opposition
and lack of quicksave magical power 
recommended difficulty is whatever you want
the gamma recommended is hard/survivalist(i think) but if you are still not sure go with medium/survivalist
my current playthrough is on easy/tourist just because i like sprinting around and jumping over people
and because the great swamps suck ass
im on medium tourist my last 2 playthroughs without the modpack were with that difficulty

Yo, am I a retard? Artifact says it takes 3msV/second, and the artifact IAM says "permissible radiation 7 msV" but I get irratiated still, altho very slowly
use container to block all radiation from art
yeah I meant im using the IAM (the artifact module to carry it on my belt/use it)
and it says it can hold up to 7msV and the artifact itself is 3msV/sec but it still irradiates me despite being contained
looks like a bug or typo in art or IAM description
