thats a known bug as far as i am aware, you can try and use different settings in the Modsettings ingame (somebody something NVGs)

So basically you take name of your model and plug it into some visual file...

For the options inside MCM you need to rename "GAMMA MCM Values - Rename to keep your personal changes", do what you need to inside the game, exit, rename this add-on in "GAMMA MCM Values"
Once you update trough the installer you'll have two of them, keep the one you rename and delete the other one
Guys, I know I'm annoying with my reports and maybe you feel I'm impatient. I want to stress the fact that I love this work and thank Grok and everyone that worked on it. That cheese repair of guns annoys me. So I started a new Merc game to have fun while a fix is being done. But I keep on looting guns with 45% condition from "experienced" enemies. It feels off. Maybe it's normal to have better condition gear in army warehouses compared to the cordon. But according to the "drops" mod settings, such a high level condition should only be dropped by legend stalkers, and be an exception on top of that. I wonder if there is a bigger issue. I know that at the end of the day it's no big deal. But it destroys the hobo phase and it saps the will to play a little bit for me.

in the other games, the factions would push each other around, taking key points across the zones. I see none of this in this game. Makes me sad.
in warfare mode yes, but gamma is not intended for that mode
that's just it though. It wasn't any mod or warfare element that did that. It was a part of the game. I see small little instances where this happens in out of the way areas, but nothing dramatic. An example would be the checkpoints in Rostok. Duty and Freedom were always battling for those spots and i remember them constantly changing hands there.
it might be i had a direct roll in instigating it though, because i always had to battle my way through duty, then suddenly they would change hands.

it has some conflicts with story mode apparently, but it creates a lot of npc movement
im playing without it as it apparently also changes what spawns where and i dont think i was a fan

it is very worth to do so because you can win brand new guns and that is so good in GAMMA ecosystem

And as far as I know I haven't enabled any extra animations. just the regular installed stuff with Gamma. aside from FDDA.
They're in there own custom folders on desktop.

The crashes are pretty random. They just happen for no reason. sometimes it goes 30 minutes without a crash, other times it crashes within 10 minutes. Before that one it crashed while just running around in Cordon. then before that it crashed in Garbage twice.
so I can't necessarily reproduce it, but it'll crash again if I play it for a while.

Yeah, base gamma. Ever since I deleted my entire mods folder (i was having some crashing issues to begin with) and redownloaded it. I'm using a fresh anomaly install as well. The load order is the default profile that it comes with.

Hey does Mags redux have to be enabled with a new game or is there a way to get it working after a new game? My assumption is that i enable it and all my ammo turns to mags but this didnt happen so just wondering
endurance : sprinting speed and stamina recovery (levels by carrying light loads), strength : carry weight and melee damage (levels by carrying heavy loads), survival : increases damage resistance and parts gained from mutants(levels by hunting or taking damage) and scav : increases loot drops from stalkers (levels by killing and looting stalkers)

Modify the registry entry to increase the GPU processing time.
- Open the windows start menu and type regedit. Click the Registry Editor app to launch it.
- In regedit search GraphicsDrivers under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\GraphicsDrivers.
- After clicking GraphicsDrivers add a new QWORD (64 bit) and name it TdrDelay on the right panel.
- Double click on TdrDelay and add 8 for the value data
- Restart Windows
A possible AMD GPU fix is to check BIOS to make sure the GPU is running on PCI GEN 3.

Who can tell me what changes I have to make to turn off the hit sounds on NPCs, I strongly dislike those sounds. The mod is wepl_Hit_Effects. I like the other stuff this mod brings, only want to get rid of hit sounds on NPCs.

to sell artifacts, i use the artifact melter to combine them and get their condition up, right?
you would be wasting your time if you empower them just to sell them but yes
is there something else i should be doing with them? some of the effects look cool but most of them look a bit situational
you can use them to charge the melter so you can repair actually useful artefacts instead
take this whole part and cut it, try the game without it and see if that works. if the game crashes (probably not) then put it back

Do free stalker traders sell PSU recipes ? I'm at 3000 goodwill with free stalkers and I've checked Loris and Sidorovich constantly but no luck so far

Theres more than 200 mods. Once one person updates their mod, the program doesn't differentiate between compatibility. I've already run into this problem and had to rollback. Thankfully the updater doesnt replace files. One can rightfully assume the mods that work with each other should continually do so, but bugs happen, and publishers aren't creating their mods specific to others.
For GitHub it pulls specific versions or last version depending on instructions

its not that, its just that artefact hunting is my favorite activitie and it doesnt pay off in the early game anymore, but again, i respect the decision and in some ways like it, since there are waayy more artefacts to find, and in consequence the competition also has grown, with other stalkers fiding them more easily
mcm has a section for how much condition guns and outfits drop at
its easier for a random stalker and bandit to find that rare artefact worth your life and makes you want to hunt them down

It is a little bit of an issue that the buy-in for doing much of anything with artifacts is pretty high for new characters. Having a version of the melter that can only do low-tier artifacts might be good
learn what artefacts are good for you to use, the rest is garbage that you will use to empower those good ones. selling artefacts for money has always been way too easy
yeah thats what i suggested early on this chat, a low-tier so atleast artefact hunting is viable in the beginning
but you will have to start collecting them early anyways

You can sell artefacts easily : just go to GAMMA Economy/gamedata/configs/items/trade/ecolog_sakharov.ltx > edit buy_condition = 0.30 to 0.01

My artifact's "health" fluctuates. And im pretty sure this only happens with newly acquired ones. The ones i combine seem to stay the same afterwards.
Though, thinking on it, that is not the case with my "beads" artifact. The one that heals. That one, i have combined quite a few times and it still resets into junk.

The heart thumping sound screws up my in game sound. It turns everything distorted. Half the time muting other sounds, the other half making everything a jarbled mess.

some quests take a day to refresh, but you have to actually finish them to get new ones. you also have aslan to take quests from for mercs or you can do quests for freedom and bandits
