there might be one already loaded but not any more than that

Is the base cost of an armor a pretty decent idea of how good it would be fully repaired?
Ones with a lot of storage typically are worse for the price in my experience though. So if it's a "Load bearing X" Or something along those lines, I'd stay away from it.
Been tinkering around with Lost Alpha; found out the GSC changed the static lighting after a certain build and some don't like that change. Is there any room/reason to consider adding this to GAMMA for DX8 users?
You can use debug mode to spawn all of them and look. Can even use the workshop function to see what they look like upgraded too. IIRC using debug can disable some achievements so do it on a new game if that worries you and it will stop that happening I think.

Hello everyone, after playing for sometime I find I perfer using trader overhaul more than gamma's preset, is anything will be break or missed if I disable the 2 gamma economy module for enable trader overhaul? I assume some mod item wouldn't be in shop but I can still find them in stash so that part will be ok for me, although I can't sure everything will be this case.

i think the player becomes a bit harder to spot at night and in rain by default in anomaly but i dont know how that works in gamma since it has a stealth mod

craft it or give a technician an advanced tool kit and he will sell it when he restocks his stuff
advanced tool kit is required either way and you probably would want to hold on to at least one before you give them to a technician
it unlocks a lot of the mid game gear to be easily crafted and its less expensive than buying
keep your stuff stashed in a safe base since early game. never know when you need to repair that cool ak isg or scar h for mid-end game fights
it can spawn on stalkers and in marked stashes but its a really low chance

They do but the main thing I like with alife was the singleplayer and warfare at the same time
So you could play the story mode and take over the zone capturing bases

the sin storyline has always broken for me and I've never been able to get past finding the dead stalker by the liminsk construction site. All the many characters I've played over years all have gotten stuck there with soft locks or consistent crashes. so I hope it works better in gamma

Does the RC2 installer install mods from the RC2 branch of GAMMA on github ? It seems to be lagging behind the RC1 branch but maybe it simply uses the RC1 right now ?
RC2 installer installs the gamma pack in RC 1 currently as RC2 has not been released yet. or did i misunderstand the question?
Ah, thanks ! Yes that was the question, the RC2 branch on github seems to have older file so I was afraid it would download them instead of the RC1 which is more recent :)

I solved it. Everything is running smoothly now. Seems the issue might be that I didn't extract the contents of RC1.7 download into the folder, bur rather kept the RC1.7 Folder whole. I am not sure why that'd matter, but everything works now. Mod count is indicating 232 now. Thank you for the help

i looked in the mod list. it should be correct at 231 mods and there is no addon for the radiation hud its added in another addon i think

and just in-case, try the pack with your addons unticked. if it crashes on loading old saves make a new save and see if the new update's features are there

For the short duration I tried it I found it to be added tedium, Sid sellss directions that unlock some, no idea where the rest come from. Ofc YMMV.

one transition from army warehouses to red forest is unlocked by talking to librarian about the dog. talking to noah in zaton and then going back to librarian

chances for those are controlled by the gameplay option "outfit loot" : progressive or full and the mcm config for outfit drops
progressive means you will need higher rank for better outfits to drop from enemies you kill
k, I've managed to get and fix up an monolith exo suit but am still stuck with a m80 gas mask. Haven't even seen a halmet yet so I was wondering if I was doing something to cause that.

veles and svarog are too dim in gamma for some reason, oh and too bright to use with nvgs. i think thats intended and the grizzly detector is supposed to replace them

NGL I don't really understand the lighting in general
the moonlight is nearly invisible to the naked eye even if the full moon is blinding up in the sky. But then that nearly invisible moonlight is absolutely blinding in night vision
it has to do with lighting settings and shaders and some console cmds set up by default by grok to try and get best lighting basically but i guess its not doing well for everyone
you can change most of these settings by yourself
but you will have to do a lot of testing to get it to be what you want probably
i tried to fix buildings being literally too dark after a change to lighting that finally fixed the horizon from being a flaming ball of death that would burn your eyes . had to go with a middle ground between blinding myself in morning and being blind at night but it seems to work just fine now

most of the time i use them on lowest brightness
I changed the settings in the mod config menu for the NVGs
so I can actually use them
one thing is that i heard green lasers are supposed to be used with nvgs, they dont work very well with nvgs in gamma thats for sure
yeah, the green lasers are pretty much exclusively for NVGs since you can't easily use optics or even irons with many NVGs
the laser is literally a dot in the sky if you aim up and look at it

(pip mid-long range scope and laser aim) you change between them with grenade launcher key (v by default) and you turn on the laser by holding L. check #│💻keybinds-in-gamma for all keybinds

right click on other artifacts and you can sacrifice it
oh it will make those buffs into debuffs if you dont feed it fast enough
will revert to anomaly health system

its been changed to level up when looting

maybe you have progressive outfit loot?
also go to mcm, there is a config for chances of getting certain outfits and helmets. they are set to really low chances for high end gear by default to balance them it could be that config despawning your loot if its only outfits

Only things so far despawning for me are random equipment used to upgrade armor(mainly) from stashes.
I had the loner tutorial stash artifact despawn lol
