Update your GAMMA Launcher:

1.) Add your GAMMA and Anomaly folders to the Windows Defender exclusions and disable Real-time protection temporarily, before downloading the file.

You can find these settings here:

  2.) Grab the latest launcher: G.A.M.M.A. Launcher v8.6 (mediafire link)
  3.) Extract everything from the archive, into the your GAMMA folder/.Grok's Modpack Installer folder

I downloaded Gamma, downloaded Anomaly, placed them in F:/ both in separate folders, downloaded a new launcher, replaced the old one, launched it as an admin, tried to do the First installation, saw this (bieg message), clicked OK, tried to do the First installation again, saw this (mod organized failed to load module), skipped it, game was installed, then I updated the Gamma and now I have 516 mods and these red messages in the log down in the mod list. Got a new ssd, reinstalled windows, etc. Got everything I needed for gamma, started doing the file extraction portion of it and 7 zip insists on creating a folder container for the files im extracting and this specifically impacts the "latest" launcher portion because its not replacing the files. I know i didn't just disassemble them at some point as one of them was literally in my primary slot when i closed the game to update. And after updating it is gone. for all having troubles, just delete your anomaly and gamma folder completely and reinstall, your zip files should still be under your downloads. Then do FIrst install, then update with all 4 boxes ticked afterwards just to make sure you have the correct amount of mods (578)

trying to install missing about 60 odd mods and when I tried to update to redownload the mods it didnt work

first time trying to install anomaly on my new pc and it starts for a seconds and then crashes. i got an error message saying "failed to compile shaders" but i haven't even tried installing gamma yet, only base game anomaly. am i meant to install the windows management framework? i have windows 11 so i assume i wouldn't need something that's for windows 7

reload save should put you at the exact spot since it create a temp save file when that happen

Start-Process $mo2exePath issue here aswell, both files excluded, all 4 boxes ticked, no MO2 poping up :p

that fixed my problem, but why specifically does running it on dx9 work instead of dx11 or dx8?

well you just need to run the anomaly in dx9, then when you play gamma launching it in dx11 will work

if antivirus exemptions were made, zipping boxes untick for both gamma and anomaly, ran as admin, new launcher was downloaded and zipped (assuming the files were replaced upon extracting, then i dont get how it doesnt work

Well i am currently using the v8.6 launcher for the first time, I hope it will get me out of the 572 mods

it wont hurt. check the video on youtube from john stalker. its a 5min video. just remember to use 8.6 launcher onb instead of 8.5

anyone else have any issues with the newest update where the eotech 553 not shooting on point? used to be able to put my site on a headshot, now its completely over the targets head. shot a wall for testing. ak5c, iron sites shoot on target

@spring steppe the problem is with the "G.A.M.M.A. Actor Damage Balancer" mod. I tried disabling it, but the game crashes when I load a save without it.
