ok. there quite literally is no mod in gamma that overwrites story npc spawns. there are plenty of ways to fuck up your spawn logic so that story npcs don't appear, such as but not limited to warfare or cranked up ZCP or shit in the disabled category

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

I did a clean reinstall on both anomaly and gamma, did everyting in order as per the how-to guides. But still whenever I load up that specific save, whenever I turn in the prototype detector the game crashes and the log says Sakharov doesn't have inventory

I checked with debug and he has a lvl 3 inventory...so I'm clueless for the why

Already went thru this yesterday...all is how it should be after clean reinstall to a different folder, 439 mods, no crossed out mods after install, on previous install the hideout furniture's were crossed out. No extra mods, no fiddling with economy no extra items no nothing

I'm 'Experienced', 'Excellent' reputation, and 'Maximal' relations with multiple factions (Loner, Clear Sky, Duty) but I cannot recruit any of the NPC's as perm companions. I hate to say this but 16 GB of RAM may not be enough to run the game without that error but that's just my opinion as I am no expert and I am running the game on 32 GB of RAM myself

So I have a 32 gig pagefile already declared on the same drive (SSD) my games are on

I can't think of anything else but when I first opened the ticket I had hideout furnitures crossed out

So could be that my client just chugged along with Sakharov's inventory being bugged the whole time until it hit critical mass on that save....so regardless if I reinstall or not, reinstall the faulty mod or not, it might be in the savefile itself that somehow reloads the bugged state of Sakharov's inventory

Cuz' there's no way in hell(*) a fresh anomaly+gamma reinstall to different folders would reproduce the same error after the hideout mod has been reinstalled

I use Black Market mod, play as Loner. Tried to swap my basic Sunrise (~90% quality) suit on other gear, since Sidorovich have a dialog line. However, no matter suit in inventory or on me, any dialog line (light, medium, science, heavy) leads to nothing - just cuts off and goes back to dialog crossroad (trade, quests, etc). No cash withdraw, no suit swap.

The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Turned off loot claim, added mags redux, buyable mags, ammo check, and black market. That's it, I think. Sitting on 444 mods atm.

Gamma still crashes despite putting in the right mod order. I swapped it around just in case I was shoopid, still didn't work. Everytime I right click in PDA it still crashes. The PAW mod still complains about mapspot being unable to load. Am I missing something???

My PC started making weird noise when playing Gamma. It stops in main menu and during alt-tab.
Here it shows that RAM is clocked at 10000 MHz, which I think is causing the issue? I tried disabling XMP in Bios but it didn't change anything. I have 32GB (2x16) of DDR5 RAM, 5800MHz base clock

After deleting "shader cache" and "user_ltx" in anomaly after my user_ltx becoming modified by the Project inverno "snow_ltx" featured on the thread in this discord to fix fog in all weathers I have tried to update and install through the gamma launcher. However after working as expected the launcher freezes and does not progress after around 90% of the progress bar has been filled.

@jolly pumice To manually reinstall problematic mods do this:

1. Go to the link(s) the Helper has provided above (or below).
2. Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.
3. Place every archive you downloaded into your \GAMMA\downloads folder. Overwrite if needed.
4. Run the GAMMA Launcher as admin. Make sure only “Force zip extraction” is enabled.
5. Click Install / Update G.A.M.M.A.

Doesn't do anything. I think its a problem with the binds because my teleport companion bind doesn't do anyhting either
