Well my only thoughts are you having the overlay setting off or a mod is messed up in your modlist. Double check the setting in game settings then look in mod organizer 2 for any ❌ next to mods.

So wait is rhere seriously no reports of the zoom bug? The game temporarily changes FOV and mouse sensitivity when you zoom (cause that's how it's programmed) but the FOV and mouse doesn't change back

More of a glitch i guess?

The FreeZoom mod changes your fov back and forth in order to do that fancy zoom in effect. When you die or do any number of other things it can sometimes get stuck, forcing you to manually reset the FOV. This is INCREDIBLY common and easily found using discord search...

Its on in the settings and No red Xs in Mo2. The weirdest thing is that the mask reflections in the corners and the breathing fog both work fine. Just not the overlay. Would it have anything to do with that GAMMA No Mask Textures mod under GAMMA fixes? I'll see what disabling that does

ok, well first off, this is default support for those that do not modify their modlist at all. secondly, something went wrong with your download/install. Make sure you have the latest launcher (version 5.0) and follow the directions below.

1. Check if you are blocked from accessing and browsing https://www.moddb.com/ (you'll see a big red screen)
If you are blocked, then WAIT for the indicated time + 40 minutes and then try to visit the website again.
Alternatively, you can use a VPN to bypass the block.
Don't check every five seconds if the timer is going down, it can lead to problems.
Don't delete anything unless we told you to do so.

If you're not blocked:
2. Open your GAMMA Launcher and check if you have the latest launcher, which is 5.0.0.0.

There are three tiers of nods, the lowest quality ones are a complete piece of shit. Secondly, there actually is a variety of illumination during nights due to shader mods. Therefore, sometimes your nods won't work so well and sometimes they will be amazing.

Disable your antivirus and make sure both anomaly and gamma folders are whitelisted in windows defender. Pick up the launcher in #💽how-to-update and replace the other one.

If you have already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

2. Open the archive, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

I give up. I've been playing GAMMA nearly a year and this shit just happens. entering areas a certain way -> crash for no reason -> go a different way -> fine.
I've always updated the game. Have run multiple different characters. Sometimes it happens when entering Zaton, sometimes Dark Valley, sometimes wherever tf else. But it happens, and I'm certain many others experience it.

Not really all I removed was lowsprint animation and added the mod to turn on when stutters, mod settings never touched it, only gameplay/progression settings.

This happened after a fast travel to cordon and trying to nade a bandit, so no didnt kill any trader or tech or faction leader, anything I killed before the fast travel was a merc

2. Enable the top 4 boxes under the installation buttons, make sure they're selected
3. Click "Install / Update G.A.M.M.A." and wait for the install process to be done
4. Open your MO2 and check if you have any red crosses, make also sure that you have #📍577-mods-in-mo2

This procedure does NOT remove saves, you're NOT going to redownload everything from scratch and it WON'T delete your progress, your save is... safe.
The launcher will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall/fix them if you have red crosses and any mod that need to be updated, will be updated, that's it, nothing else.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the launcher will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

The Overwrite folder isn't a mod. It is really just a folder that Mod ORganizer 2 uses. It generally contains things created by the game that it doesn't know what to do with. Like screenshots Seriously, it can be ignored. you can even right click and select open in explorer to see whats in it.

Now screenshot your MOd Organizer 2 like Veer said.

Make sure you have disabled all Antivirus, whitelisted your anomaly and gamma folders in windows defender, have the latest launcher (5.0) start it as Admin and update again. It will only pull what is missing or corrupted.

I have a kinda weird issue. I'm sure it's just a corrupted save issue, but thought I should mention it.
After talking to ||Strelok|| and saving at his campfire, I left the game. Came back, and now every save file from that point and before crashes my game with this message if I attempt to load it (the message only shows up half the time).
I don't expect to be able to salvage the save files, but if there's any guidance or info on how to prevent this issue, I'd love to hear it. Thanks in advance for any help!

Starting a New Game (usually) works and loading slots saved in a new game works just fine. But every old save slot is broken

You have to reinstall Anomaly, follow these instructions:

1. Add your Anomaly folder to your antivirus exceptions. For Windows Defender, do as instructed here: #🖥️how-to-install message

I keep accidentally dropping my backpack because opening the inventory, the cursor always starts on the backpack and clicking shift drops it (which is my sprint button). It makes no noise and if it doesn't overburden me, it's easily overlooked. So if the cursor could start somewhere else, shift didn't drop it, there was a confirmation popup, it made a very obvious sound or animation of dropping it... literally anything would be a huge help. This is the 5th time I've dropped it this way and the 1st time I didn't notice. I ran around looking for it and loaded multiple saves with it already gone...

Hi. I reported this error this morning. I just reinstalled GAMMA completely and still had the problem that the main menu it's at 17fps and I cannot load my game. It's stuck on the loading screen forever at 1 fps. The CPU shows a massive work at 99% and the RAM is at 13GB of 32GB. I tried the arith command fix and didn't work either. I don't know what could be the problem... Already tried reset the PC too. Any help please? I can't play gamma no more...

1. Update G.A.M.M.A. to the latest version (open GAMMA Launcher with admin rights, click on Install / Update)
2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands )
3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can find the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11) (no avx)

My problem it's fixed. Somehow my PC decided to uninstall or make not work the AMD driver for my GPU and somehow the GPU worked, but not properly. I installed the latest driver and it's working again. Weird

Has anyone encountered a problem where some of the pistols are invisible (I have so far found APS and PM)? Because other ones seem to work fine. The broken ones still seem to be able to shoot, but I am also unable to switch them to any other weapon as the animation just gets stuck. Is there a mod that I can just turn off?
