okay i did everything in that picture. 422 mods, launcher version 5.0, no more red "X". loaded a very old save from BEFORE installing hotfix with vaulting, there were no artifacts, used debug menu to call in an emission, artifacts spawned. tried the same thing on my current save where artifacts don't spawn, and sure as hell no artifacts spawned in those specific anomalies. what now?

i "kinda " found a solution i enebled the "shaders comulative pack for GAMMA" mod and it removed the visual bug and it was not as demanding as the other shaders so i am getting stable fps for somebody that that shader mod is still to much the solution would not work

I don't think I have any special characters in my path either

I'm going to assume this is due to moving the folder to the root of the drive later than expected, though my memory doesn't serve if this is actually what happened as I started the install awhile back, Gonna try to install again and see if the issue persists in another drive where I start at the root from the get go

I have a problem that i cant figure out. When i start gamma the first time after first install i crank everything up to the max, except for the grass sliders, turn grassshadows on. Fps limit to 60, vsync on. Runs stable at 60 fps. But when i close the game and continue it drops to 30 and i never get back to 60.After reinstalling its fine again.

If the steps from above didn't work, try this fix instead:

3. Find wherever you saved the Jubs_Low_Texture_Red_Dots.rar file.

When reaching the most northern part of limansk the game drops in fps alot and then crashes pretty consistantly. Any fix?

hi, ive reinstalled gamma like 5 times at this point, ive always run into the same issues although ive followed the installation guide to the letter. i have never been flagged by moddb nonetheless i get flags on most mods stating "no valid game data" and an active mod count that is around 400-420 every single time. ive tried the large files fix to no avail. please help me im going insane. my internet makes it so that installing gamma and downloading the files is like a 4-5 hour ordeal. if theres any logs or screenshots i should provide please let me know because i am urgently trying to play something besides unmodded anomaly. thanks

Nope this is a known issue with anomaly. Hurry through there as fast as you can. The only "fix" i have found is to delete all common squads from the game and let stalkers repopulate but that will make you fail every random stalker given quest.

• disable any antivirus you have
• whitelist your anomaly and gamma folders
• if all that fails depending on your country you can try a VPN

Hello! My character gets stuck in an animation (Either unjamming a weapon or use of medicals, etc), so I am unable to use my guns.

Turn on the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in MO2 then go to \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs and open alife.ltx in a text editor.
Reduce the auto_switch_distance_start value in small increments of 100 a time.
Every time you get 'busyhands' randomly, reduce it by 100 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

I did test every gun in the game and found 4 of them have problems. The fort-12, fort-17, FN Fal (the wooden furniture one) and the XM8. The pistols don't go into iron sight, the FN Fal is in the wrong position as if the character is holding it for hip fire and the XM8 doesn't even render.

To make a long story short, I installed a 1TB ssd into my laptop, it didn't format correctly, only gave me 256. I installed GAMMA on it (F drive). I'd rather not lose my current save. I would like to know how to preserve my savegame while I wipe and reformat said drive.
Ideally, where are save games stored, how do I properly preserve them and reintegrate them into GAMMA once the drive is reformatted and I've reinstalled GAMMA.

My only other option would be to clear up a bunch of space on my other drive (C Drive) and copy/paste my GAMMA and Anomaly folders over, but I get the feeling that won't work.

If you have a "dark screen" after updating:

1. Open your Mod Organizer.

It might be slow because either your connection is slow, or moddb is under load, so the dw speed ends up being slow.

You can try restarting the launcher, that usually speeds it up.

But its normal for first install to take an hour or more to download everything
