I am losing health for no reason, does anyone know why? I am in Sidorovich's bunker, have one artifact that gives no radiation, and I am decent on food/water/sleep. While I was in the trading menu, my health drained almost to zero

I even tried healing up but once I finished I started losing health again

how do i know which dx i should use for a decent mix of performance and quality? High dx’s look great, but with stutters and framerate issues, whilst old dx’s look.. old lol.

Dx8 works good but looks yucky, dx9 crashes, and everything above give me rather severe performance issues for some reason.

hi, i'm having an issue with the main quest for Monolith. Cleric wants me to collect 4 AKMS's for him. i have them, but i have no option to hand in the quest. i followed a video on how to complete it through the bug menu, but doing so doesn't give me the next quests. this allows me to finish the quest, get a stash location and some reputation, but the main quest just doesn't exist anymore. i get nothing more to advance it
the quest is named, "Monolith AKMS x4 Arsenal"

I accepted a device recovery mission in yantar, and it tells me to go into the tunnels that you go through after miracle machine. I went and did so, went all the way through the tunnels, and there is no enemy to kill. Where it says an enemy should be on the map, there is a gravity anomaly

So... after about 10 minutes, the marker teleported elsewhere, and now theres two lurkers... and my companion, none of which are functioning correctly

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

press the home button to open reshade, and check for anything that says like UIDetect or UIMask top/bottom

idk how UIDetect works, but UIMask requires you to have both enabled (top and bottom), top on top of everything and bottom at the bottom.

if it still doesn't work you can disable both, just keep in mind that without UIMask all the post processing from reshade will also be applied to your hud.

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

But instead of dragging the download folder to somewhere safe and just deleting the GAMMA folder I instead selected the 2 folders and simply pressed delete. The busyhands is the name of a bug that among other things prevents the player from interacting with objects or the weapons player holds.

If you can't:

• use your weapon or reload
• open your inventory

• transition between locations

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

i had that bug too in my last save
whenever i first loaded the save my health was borked but loading the save a 2nd time fixed it. it didn't happen on area transitions after i loaded the save the 2nd time either

@misty siren What's your screen resolution/ratio? For example, for some the reason may be known bug that I am even unsure Grok is capable of fixing:
- GAMMA is designed for 16:9 resolutions (e.g. 1920x1080). Playing on 4:3 causes UI glitches

@torpid marten Rarely a feature if you're damaged by something affecting your health/head. Often, that also kept happening to me as a bug, reload may help, as may using an item causing temporary blur (like drinking water). Just another little way GAMMA is unstable.

1. Go to your GAMMA RC3/downloads and delete gamma_large_files_v2 and gamma_large_files_v2.meta if you have it
2. Download the file from Github. Make sure it's called gamma_large_files_v2 and NOT gamma_large_files_v2-main, rename it if it has "-main" at the end
3. Make sure that the very first folder inside the zip is named gamma_large_files_v2-main and not gamma_large_files_v2
4. Drop the downloaded zip in your GAMMA/downloads folder AND DO NOT EXTRACT

6. Click the Download G.A.M.M.A. Data button
7. Click the Full G.A.M.M.A. installation button

Because I could not figure out how MO2 worked when moving it to another folder, I made the extremely wise decision to delete gamma and reinstall it again. It led to that.

Then it is a bug. Busyhands mixed with blur and other such effects all at once. Possibly a crash if you'll try to save at this point. My condolences, I never managed to fix it myself and it was one of the main reasons I've stopped playing GAMMA, now waiting till new version comes out - it was just too unstable and annoying, happening at random.

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Why do I have this strange effect in my game? etc.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect.
You can turn it off:
1) Open the game.
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu.
3) Search SSS Settings.
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left.
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

If these steps don't work and DOF remains enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.
