3. In Windows Defender, add Anomaly and Gamma folders to Exclusions:
windows security > virus & threat protection > manage settings > exclusions
4. Open GAMMA installer as admin
5. Click Download G.A.M.M.A. data
6. Click Full G.A.M.M.A. installation
Don't delete anything

Generally indicates that Anomaly/GAMMA/both are somewhere they shouldn’t be or that the player doesn’t have proper permissions in the folder they are running the game from. You can either move the game to a proper location, grant proper permissions to their account in Windows or try running MO2 as admin.

2. In Mod Organizer 2, click on File -> Install mod
3. Find wherever you saved the mod file
4. Click “OK”. Name it whatever you want. It will be at the very end of the mod list.
5. Change the mod's priority to 36 (by clicking on the priority number once)
6. Disable the old one and enable the new one.

You'll need to delete your Anomaly folder.

1. Open your Anomaly folder, if you have any save files you want to keep, take them from this folder: Anomaly\appdata\savedgames
2. Delete your Anomaly folder
3. Extract a clean Anomaly folder (VERSION 1.5.2 IS THE ONLY SUPPORTED VERSION FOR GAMMA, if you don't have it yet, type and send !152 in #🤖bot-commands)

so to summarize the thread for you, there should be a mod installed into the downloads folder of where you have GAMMA at, in the folder there is a mod tittled REMADE_ANIMATIONS.4, In MO2 launcher you can click the top left and install a new mod from archive, from there oyu want to find the location of the "REMADE_ANIMATIONS.4" and select it as the mod. from there you have to enable it in MO2

Okay so for future reference I was able to fix this by reinstalling, although it took a couple of trys

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Hi so for some reason whenever I save or sleep in a camp like rookie village or the clear sky base after an emission or psy storm passes, my save will load me back in as if I am dead. Don’t install anything in downloads. It’s not for that. It’s where files you download are saved to. Also it’s going to get confusing when the GAMMA RC3 also has a folder called downloads.

Try something like C:/games and install them on there.

If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

The problem is with Direct X, so i uninstalled it, then install new one (DX11) and problem disappeard. Game works fine. Thanks for helping though. 2- Open your G.A.M.M.A. RC3 folder, move the archive in there, right click it and choose "extract here", using 7zip. It will create a folder called downloads, which will be now filled with zip archives.
3- Go inside this folder, which is inside your G.A.M.M.A. RC3 folder: .Grok's Modpack Installer, you'll find the G.A.M.M.A. installer.exe.

LAUNCH IT WITH ADMIN RIGHTS. Click on "Download GAMMA data", when it's done, click on "Full GAMMA installation".

The archives stored in downloads folder will be installed in your MO2 and you should reach the #📍577-mods-in-mo2.

Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Resetting my modlist to default using the only install gamma addons doesnt work
Also completely deleted GAMMA off my pc a while ago and just did a full reinstall

Launched it as administrator as well

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

2) Copy these three folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these three folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

Yeah moddb is a dumpster fire, I used a paid vpn to get around it.

I've seen people use free or free trial vpn to get around its roulette game as well

my game is in a black screen at the stalker gamma splash screen and i was in game for a bit but it kept flashing in the game, like the gamma was maxed out, i was streaming and doing this, if you want a visual representation, i restarted the game to fix the flashing and now its in a permanent black screen

im on the last step to fix it which is at the gamma installer and doing a full gamma installation, will let know what happens after

to fix the game going black screen i tried all the steps linked above and the last one brought the splash screen back so i can selct "new game, load game, etc." i had another issue inside the game where the brightness/gamma felt like it was maxed and the image was washed out however i checked the basic light settings and my desktop color settings in nvidia control panel and neither were out of order, and it was still constantly flashing a maxed out brightness screen, i will now load into the game and see if the game image is still washed out

okay i launched into the game via dx11 from mo2 to check the brightness/gamma maxing out issue and it is non existent now so it seems doing this "#╭📖faq message" worked for me, thanks and good luck!

Its the setting in the Visual - Advanced, even the DoF command r2_dof_enable only works until a level load or load of a save.
