Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Mod didn’t install fully. I had been having issues with my game (Level 5:traders didn’t sell PSUs) I had 359 mods installed and couldn’t work out what the extra one was so tried updating, but then I got a load of ❌ on mods. I tried doing a full install and got even more ❌. I deleted gamma and tried installing again, same problem. Also I was getting flagged by ModDB as a bot for too many downloads.

It wasn’t until yesterday I worked out the problem. Since I installed GAMMA last month there had been a new update which include a new installation step. It requires a downloads.7z file to be downloaded. Gamma has a downloads folder and you have to merge the unzipped downloads folder. It includes a bunch of mods that are no longer downloaded when you use the installer app. I guess that’s so that modbd isn’t overloaded.

Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them.
These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests and by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill.
(If said PDA is locked, you'll need to go to a mechanic and pay him to unlock it.)

You can also buy coordinates from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.
And yes, if you buy coordinates from a trader in the northern part of the zone, it's always gonna be random.

Old save. Afaik, DMPCAV shouldn't cause problems with old saves, especially after removing armor prior to disabling mod. It happens at Forrester place after I drop last SIN guy that was pushing me. Every time I load save and kill last guy it crashes.

Okay, so for anyone runs into the wpn_thompson_m1a1 fatal error on loading a save

TLDR: Following the steps from !fullblock solved it

The full Error info:

It seems like it may mostly have been the virus & threat protection exception step that made it work?
In my case, something had failed to install with the thompson, even though all the files were there and uncorrupted in the downloads, and the mod organizer did show all 358 mods active.

I confirmed this by making a new save and finding I couldn't spawn a thompson even in debug mode.

On re-running through those steps, after the Full G.A.M.M.A. installation finished that time; on making a new save, I could see the thompson was available when starting on tourist difficulty, when it hadn't been. Ingame, it could be spawned in debug mode. And most importantly, loading saves worked again.

Sorry for long post, wanted this to at least be somewhere since it looked like several people hadn't found a fix for it earlier

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

I think I might've figured it out. I set my volume level to what I wanted it to be, then quit to desktop without loading any earleir save. quickloading AND travelling to another map seem to cause the issue, but the latter only happens when the former does

I did install gamma addons, and then I had a flagged corrupted mod that I had to replace with a non corrupted version of it

I got a working version of that addon from the downloads.7z I have as a backup, installed it with mo2, and then set it's priority to the same as the busted one
