I am having crash referring to the shaders folder deleted (im guessing) after trying item 3 from the framerate optimization guide. Should i just replace that folder to fix the crashes? Also, the reason I was working through the optimization list to fix stutters, although my computer should be up to the cpu/graphical task? I tried the mod option "turn this on if you stutter", but without improvements there, i was going through the optimization list

FOR ANYONE SEARCHING
A fix I found that solves the regular/irregular crashes caused by the invalid_parameter_handler is unticking the read-only attribute at your Anomaly AND GAMMA folders!

I've noticed this bug mentioned by a dozen or so people, with no solutions posted. So I'm going to post this here since I doubt this will get noticed/posted by the staff.

So i've got FDDA turned on, in the mod menus, have the item swap and usage animations turned on and also tried with them off in the normal -> visual -> player menus. But i don't get the backpack animation?

secondly, turn FDDA Rework off in MO2, it causes crashes. If you want those animations - and they were removed on purpose because they were softlocking games - disable "GAMMA Reliable Animation Settings" in MO2

then look in FDDA in the Mod Config Menu

4. Run the installer as admin and make sure you have the latest version: 3.8 (If you don't have it, grab it here: <#📢announcements message>)

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

Hello, Im having a crash that seems to be happening with regularity. Im running vanilla gamma, and followed steps 1-2 on the optimization guide. Step 3 caused my game to crash (not making into game menu). I received help that got the game going again to menu, and played for another few hours. Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

Usually, you only want to use vsync if your PC creates a lot of screen tearing, and it isn't capable of going at a high framerate. If you use Vsync, you'll be locked at 60fps, and instead of individual lines of pixels, it'll do chunks. If your PC is capable of high framerate, and so is your monitor, you shouldn't need the vsync.

I for some reason have 343 mods loaded so somehow i am missing 15 mods, when i try to run I get this error. Not updating reinstalling, followed the process perfectly no idea what is going wrong

Well, this is interesting, despite showing 359 mods enabled; a check in debug mode is making it look like the Thompson just doesn't exist? I've looked over all the weapon catagories now; would an issue like this be something that could need a new download and full gamma install to fix?

That file is from Gamma Ui. You can try reinstalling that specific mod.
Here are the steps to do so.

1. Find the mod in MO2 using the search bar
2. Right click > Open in Explorer
3. Delete everything inside the mod's folder
4. Run installer as admin
5. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. Data"
6. Click "Only install G.A.M.M.A. Add-ons”
