So I've seen this asked around quite a few times but never have i seen a solution and I'm now experiencing this bug myself.

I go to decrypt the PDA's at a technician, but after selecting to decrypt, I'm only charged for one (500) out of the five (instead of 2500). In the inventory it says that they all are still encrypted. Upon attempting to view, I don't actually see the decrypted PDA, it instead it brings up a bugged version of my personal PDA that I cant do anything with. I cant switch tabs or do most other functions. everything else in game seems to work fine. All PDA's remain in my inventory but my PDA is literally completely broken and unusable regardless of which PDA I equip and/or view. After reloading a save, sometimes my PDA works like normal, other times mine is completely useless and I have completely restart the game, not just load a save. I have this same interaction regardless of what technician I go to.

Please someone who knows about this give me some sort of answer. I've been dealing with this for days, just accepting that this playthrough I wont get to decrypt PDA's so had been selling them. But I'm sick of missing out on so many possible stashes from decryption when I'm struggling to find expert tools up north as it is.

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash.
To remove it safely, you'll have to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

Sorry I didn't post my modlist earlier. I just manually went through groups of mods de- then reactivating them between test loads. Problem solved and can be replicated with any of the ZCP mods being active for me. I assume that I had one in the disabled section activated, but after all the testing I did, I can't look back now and know for sure. 401 mods now active and my PDA interactions are resolved.

yeah weird, just ran from one side of wild territory to the other 3 times and didn't ctd

replaced remade animations in gamma/downloads with the one from the downloads.zip before I tested it

yeah dunno, did another full install with a different us server on the vpn, did gamma addons as well only. No errors, still flagged.

Hey guys, after update to new version my game keeps crashing. For some reason there are only 342 active mods in MO, I've disable some Shaders due to performance issue, but nothing else.

the apparently least problematic way to getting it to work is to get the download.7z from step 5, extract downloads to your gamma folder, run the full install again while using a VPN to trick moddb into thinking youre in the US

I installed Anomaly and GAMMA and the mods as described in the instructions. Previously I had the problem that I had only 357 mods instead of 358, this I could solve with two renewed download attempts via VPN. Now I have the problem that all textures are simply black. Only the sky is displayed normally. I have already deleted the shaders manually as well as in the launcher at the checkbox delete shader checked. I have also tried the debug mode. Does anyone have a tip?

just did a full install again, applied the k98 fix but somehow the game now keeps crashing. the k98 fixed it a few hours ago. 358 mods, everything should work well but it crashes on new game load.

yeah don't do that. do these steps in order please:

1. Check you aren't blocked on moddb (go to https://moddb.com, if you don't have a giant red screen you are OK)
   === You must be unblocked to proceed ===
2. Download the file downloads.7z from #old-how-to-install
3. Extract it to your GAMMA RC3\downloads folder
4. Run the GAMMA installer as admin, click "Download GAMMA Data", click "Full GAMMA Installation"
5. Try to play

I had a veeerrry old pre 10-10 gamma and Anomaly install before re-installing it all. would that have affected the install?

I deleted the contents of the folders and re-used the same folders

shouldn't do, but there've been some pretty massive updates to gamma since then, you may want to start a new game

alright. though that's how I got the 358 mods in the first place, as I figured out the mirrors were completely fucked. I'll try again though. maybe the download fucked up a file or something.

do you have any red ❌ next to the mods in mo2?

and yeah the servers are kind of melting - even if it doesn't block you, sometimes you get matched with an overloaded server and the checks fail anyway

unfortunately the error in your log is a stack trace which is one of a few nonspecific errors

in other words, we can't pinpoint which mod is causing the issue because the error code is only understandable by a computer

so I would suggest you try to reinstall the mods and see if that allows you to load and play again, using the steps above

2)** Extract** what you downloaded wherever you want
3) Copy the gamedata folder you'll find inside
4) Open your GAMMA RC3 folder and go to GAMMA RC3/Grok's Modpack Installer/GAMMA/modpack_addons
5) Create a new folder exactly named 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich
6) Paste the gamedata folder inside this newly created folder
7) Now go to GAMMA RC3/mods and look for a folder called 76- Boomsticks and Sharpsticks - Mich.
If you have this folder - delete it, if you don't have it - skip this step.
8) Launch the GAMMA installer with admin rights, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

If your issue isn't solved, press Download G.A.M.M.A. data and then Full GAMMA Installation in the installer.

if you are doing those steps that i posted you are already doing the best that you can

oh and disable antivirus for your GAMMA and Anomaly folders

Fresh install of Anomaly + GAMMA, upon starting a new save and attempting to load in I get blackscreen and Fatal error (cannot see the fatal error) as laptop then decides to just restart..
I have log files from GAMMA folder though, but unsure as to what could be causing it

Any assistance is appreciated so i can finally play GAMMA
