Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Having problems with launching Gamma with DXVK DX11, instant error "invalid_parameter_handler", DX10 launches and works just fine however. AMD GPU. Doing !k98 and trying to run base executables gave me "invalid renderer" error, so I went back to DXVK and now dealing with this.

Moving the game to a different folder and reinstalling it didn't fix it, so i did a more in deph scan on what the error said and when.
Figured out it was a specific item with some NPC equipped and crashed the game whatever it came into the same area as me.
Found a solution for that problem by literally looking down the discord server, using the "removing the common squads" command.

If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

That makes sense as to why it's all small text. There might be some mod that changes the UI size for 4k resolution.

Let me quickly check in the game to see if there's some way to change UI size.

There probably isn't, sadly. And if there is, it'd likely have to be in some sort of file that the game reads off of, and changing that might fuck with the UI positioning.

download the .zip or .rar or whatever. do not extract. stick it somewhere you'll remember
in MO2, go to File -> Install mod... and find the file you just downloaded
Name it something, finish installing. It will be at the end of your mod list
Click the check box to enable it. Done
At that point you technically have a custom modlist so if you have issues, #🔨modded-gamma-support
