I'm probably gonna have to live with it but how does one disable the DOF? I have checked discord already and nothing has worked so Ive unticked all boxes and moved all sliders to 0 on the SSS tab in MCM and for some reason the r2_dof_enable off command says it cant be found

you need to disable a mod for dx 10 to run

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

was able to run the game (dx11) runs and everything is normal

Mine crashes whenever I try to launch from mod organizer, my anomaly is updated to 1.5.2

these crashes are a lot harder than the other ones, before it was black screen but I could alt+tab to close or force with task manager, now I cant do anything, screen freezes

Okay so quick question (probably one answered before), when turning off the Autumn mods (Simple Autumn Retexture, Autumn No Leaves LOD Fix, Grulag's Dead Bushes, and the Gardener of the Zone mod), do you still need to have 359 mods enabled for the mod pack to function properly?

If so what are some good ones to enable that don't really affect performance/the core gameplay of Gamma?

Also note that you cannot hide the installer screen. You can however launch a new desktop by pressing Windows Key + Tab, then click New Desktop at the top and move the installer window and the black window there. You'll thus be able to use your computer normally during the long installation.

tried the cfg_load grading_warm fix, nothing happened, script loaded with no errors, but screen was still black - tried reloading my save and game a few times
unchecked debug mode and reloaded my save
screen is still black, the cfg_load fix isn't working for me on non debug mode
don't know what to do at this point, I've tried swapping between debug and back with no luck.

Got a very annoying glitch happening (using default modlist BTW). Sometimes I open the workbench menu and this pops up. Random item descriptions pop up and I can't actually click on anything in the workbench menu. The item description stays up no matter where I point my cursor. I've encountered a problem after disabling brain scorcher, hud got completely messed up, neither hunger, thrist or other icons show up, minimap disapeared (pressing toggle button does nothing), companion icons disapeared, neither ammo or firing mode shows up. Only stamina, radiation and body's health system hud is on. Reloading save, restarting game/pc does nothing, no crashes or errors. Pls help it is really frustrating 😦

Been searching the discord for answers for various gamma fixes to my problems and I've found answers to all for which I thank you a lot, but this one I haven't found an answer to. I'm on a Radeon RX 5700, so I installed the DXVK crash fix cause of random crashing during runtime, however with the new DX binaries I have lost the option to enable 1440p game resolution in the game settings, I have changed the resolution manually via user.ltx and it has worked, but it feels like a bandaid fix since changing settings again in the settings just flips back to 1920x1080 (non-native res). Is there any knowledge on how to force the new DXVK binaries for Radeon cards to enable 1440p, or is it likely no longer the problem of GAMMA but DXVK, cause I have not found any fixes to this problem so far as far as dxvk forums are concerned, other than manually changing the resolution, which isn't really a permanent fix.

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

This is what you could find:

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end.
DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

Well, hello, I got this funny issue of freezoom along with body health system bugging in a way that freezoom is now locked permanently in zoomed position no matter what save I load and it does it even if I start new game.
Disabling free zoom slow vibe lets me zoom in that zoomed state.

Okay so I did a fresh install, I have the original 359 mods in mo2 and yet for some reason when I go and change my graphic settings and MCM settings…. My characters arms/hands completely disappear in first person along with whatever I’m holding.

I can shoot hear the sounds of me pulling out weapons and equipment but they are invisible unless In 3rd person
