In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash. To remove Mags Redux you'll HAVE to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Fellow STALKERS, I believe I've found a helpful fix for anyone that is having stuttering, lag or FPS issues but I need others to try the fix to see if it helps them too. Because the X-Ray engine mostly only uses only one core and for what ever reason, the X-Ray engine randomly (or so it seems) switches to different cores & threads and using RivaTuner to check my CPU & GPU loads, I noticed that when the engine would switch to a different core, my game would stutter/skip for a couple secs and if there was a ton of stuff going on, my FPS would drop by 10-15fps & sometimes 20fps. I also noticed that any of my CPU cores that had a load of less than 5% were not running at max clock speed and when the engine would change to a different core, it was always to a core that was running at idle. This fix changes your CPU idle setting so that it no longer idles and all cores always run at 100% clock speed. An easier way to apply this fix that was pointed out to me by @solar kraken. This can be done by changing your PC's power plan to High Performance (Press Windows key type "power" then select "choose power plan") as this power plan does the same as manually setting your CPU MIN & MAX power state to 100%. This will keep all of your cores/threads are always running at max speed all the time and also change your GPU power saving settings off as well so your GPU will always run at max speed. These two changes fixed ALL of my FPS drops & stuttering completely, except for the weird Rostok FPS drop when looking towards the exit to Truck Cemetery while standing in the technicians building; I've narrowed that down to the testing cube underneath Rostok possibly causing the Rostok FPS drop issue but I need to do more testing to be sure. If anyone tries this fix, post back and let me know if it helped you. Thanks!

It will not aleviate stutters from alife spawns, but IT WILL smoothen out and help your overall framerate.
This is true FOR ALL GAMES.
High Performance power plan vs Balanced will make your frames smoother with less overall dips. People are sleeping on this extremely easy tweak to boost their performance in games.
The only downside is a laughably small increase in power consumption. Think of it in terms of less than 5 euros/dollars a year.

This may be true for the CPU side of it. GPUs however often perform better running adaptive/balanced power mode as this reduces the thermal load until it hits a peak load.

Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

Some people can get it to run on integrated graphics but it does not run well.

1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

You go to into the Gamma installation folder and backup your "mods" and "download" folder somewhere else on your PC. Then you can best either delete the MO2 instance and install just MO2 again, but the easier method would be to delete the Gamma installation and start from step 1.

HOWEVER; since you backed up your mods and downloads folder, you won't have to download everything again. Simply follow all the steps in the installation guide and BEFORE you open the gamma installer and click "full install", you paste the "mods" and "downloads" folder from before in your Gamma installation folder. This will cause the installer to recognize the downloaded mods and you won't have to wait for them to download again

I am guessing that that will fix the issue

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

for me, most stuttering was fixed by checking prefetch sounds in the launcher, so that may also be something to consider

If your installer is stuck and you can read "Instruction solving..." at the bottom, follow this:

1. Close the installer
2. Go to your C:/Windows/System32 and look for a file called Robocopy.exe
3. Copy this file and paste it in GAMMA RC3/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources.
4. Remove Robocopy_10.exe from this folder and rename your recently pasted Robocopy.exe to Robocopy_10.exe
5. Relaunch the installer with admin rights, it should be fixed.

You'll need to delete your Anomaly folder.

1. Open your Anomaly folder, if you have any save files you want to keep, take them from this folder: Anomaly\appdata\savedgames
2. Delete your Anomaly folder
3. Extract a clean Anomaly folder (VERSION 1.5.2 IS THE ONLY SUPPORTED VERSION FOR GAMMA, if you don't have it yet, type and send !152 in #🤖bot-commands)
4. Run the installer as admin and make sure you have the latest version: 3.8 (If you don't have it, grab it here: <#📢announcements message>)
5. Click on Download GAMMA data and then click on Full GAMMA installation
