Yeah, it's all good, appreciate the help anyway. I am just at a loss, ahah. I guess my PC just doesn't like the game, I've noticed streamers and youtubers play it, even a buddy of mine does, runs smoothly as butter. So I don't know if it's CPU bound, if they have a better rig than mine, surely it would run. I'll have to dabble about, or bite the bullet and just pull through the stuttering in hopes that it might clear in the future.

Tried that method last night, as I posted up above of all the fix-attempts I did. Sadly no luck.

I think it's mostly just a game that refuses to work politely with my current hardware. It's the only plausible reason I can think off, or Window's 10 is the cause of the problem.

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Hey everyone. I'm trying to do the "Defend the pump station" mission but the moment I get close to it my game crashes. It worked just fine some hours ago but blowout happened the moment I reached the NPC I was supposed to talk to so I got inside the building to wait it out and all the defending NPCs died so I reloaded a save before I took the quest and ever since it's constant crashes. I tried restarting the game, did the full install thingy but the results are same. I wasn't getting any error messages apart from the very last time I tried.

How does the installer really work? I've been stuck trying to reinstall gamma since yesterday, running the installer again and again (after checking moddb if it's seeing me as a bot), but I'm always stuck with a 227 active modlist (and many more that comes disabled missing too), and clicking the full install just once ALWAYS gets me flagged as a bot by the time it's done trying to install it all, I'd expect the installer to ignore contacting moddb if it finds the mods already downloaded in the download folder, but I guess not?

It's not a hosts file issue either, I did download gamma in one go last week without any issues at all as well, but now it seems basically impossible to get it working (else I'll have to go check which mods I'm missing and install them all manually, but that's a hell of a chore)

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash. To remove Mags Redux you'll HAVE to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

@sharp bough So I solved it! the creater of Mags Redux has a converter made specificly for converting from the old mod to the new one! It worked flawlessly so far

Even if it makes my game unstable, its still better than playing with an outdated mod, which makes the game even more usntable

Hey everyone. I'm trying to do the "Defend the pump station" mission but the moment I get close to it my game crashes. It worked just fine some hours ago but blowout happened the moment I reached the NPC I was supposed to talk to so I got inside the building to wait it out and all the defending NPCs died so I reloaded a save before I took the quest and ever since it's constant crashes. Just walking to the Military Outpost as Loner to do a mission where I needed to rescue someone. Crashed mid-fight, had another crash earlier today which also resulted with no error where one of the NPC's that followed me decided to stay where he was, walked to far away from him, game somehow crashed.

No, they were stationary, weren't aggrod on a enemy as the icon for the NPC was idle. So not the usual red when they go into a fight.

Only today did I have these two crashes, not sure if it's to do with the 359 number or so since I only ticked the Stutter fix in hopes it would solve my microstuttering.

You were right. The problem was from windows 11. When I put the game to root folder, and entered via MO2 it entered to anomaly instead Gamma. And the problem was there too. Then I entered to Stalker Ultra Zone modpack and the problem was there too. So, even in youtube, I could hear all sounds, but couldnt hear speakers. It was very weird problem. It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Hey Guys, got the problem, that on missions or locations with a big amount of enemies .. like clearing the bandit base .. or the "Defend the Pump Station" Mission the game starts to stutter, then glides into a frozen screen & a crash.
Using the Standard Mods plus "Use when stutter" and Mag Redux.

loading a previous save in another region still crashes on the loading screen, and it seem that every time the game crashes, i get different fatal errors, i have 363 mods enabled, because i enabled some extra mods in MO2 that were included but not enabled by default, one of which is the stutter fix

1. Open the installer with admin rights
2. Click on Only install G.A.M.M.A. addons

Keybinds
To bring your keybinds to default, DON'T press the default button in the menu, you'll mess up everything.
Instead, do this:

1. Go in GAMMA RC3\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
2. Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)

You can tweak, since you play on a potato you might want to disable a bunch of stuff like shaders, also remember to try disabling the AI mod I told you about some days ago
