Hello,
First time installing, I followed the instructions closely but I guess I messed up somewhere as I get the following fatal error on launch.
Does anyone know how to remediate?

I tried running the install again. It seemed to be successful so I don't see why a file is missing.

  2. Bring your modlist back to default (type !default in #🤖bot-commands)
  3. Enable the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod in your MO2 (you can found the mod under the G.A.M.M.A. Fixes separator)
  4. If you have a NVIDIA GPU, you can enable Triple Buffering in NVIDIA control panel
  5. Open Anomaly Launcher via MO2 and tick Prefetch sounds
  6. If you have a beefy GPU, use Anomaly (DX11)

  1. Go in GAMMA RC3.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches\appdata
  2. Copy the user.ltx file you'll find in there (note that every change made by you in your user.ltx will be reverted to default)
  3. Paste this file in Anomaly\appdata

This will revert the graphic and other changes to the defaults that GAMMA shipped with

Why is the application not responding and freezing my whole pc? I followed all the steps when installing and when trying to launch it, it just stops working, freezes the pc and have to manually shut it down from the power button, its getting real frustrating since i tried reinstalling everything with a clean install for like 10x now and the power button has never seen this much action....

Hey guys, I don't know if here is where I should post this, but I have found a miss-type in one of the barrel descriptions. As you can see when I hover the mouse over the barrel, the type is 7.92 and the icon in the inventory says 7.62. Also, when I hover the mouse over Mosin-Nagant it says it needs 7.62 barrel instead of 7.92 even if the model of the barrel(the icon) is different than the other:

Hello,

i am currently playing as a merc and disabled the brain scorcher.
Now mercs and free stalkers are friends so they don't attack me but it seems like they still lock down on me. When i walk by free stalkers they follow me and aim at me. They at least don't shoot.
They never really stop except when i run far enough away out of their sight.

Does anyone have an idea why this happens or how i can debug it?

Already reloaded saves, restarted the game etc., still occurs.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

  1. Download the 1.5.2 update: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/downloads/stalker-anomaly-151-to-152
  2. Open the zip, you'll see 4 folders and a text file
  3. SELECT the content of this archive (4 folders and a .txt file)

Go to https://moddb.com and see if you are flagged as a bot. If you are, you will see a big red screen. You can either wait for the block to expire or use a VPN. Then run a full install.

FULL INSTALL:

  1. Disable antivirus temporarily
  2. Open GAMMA installer as admin
  3. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
  4. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"
    We strongly suggest you use mirror 127 or 128 when you do. You don't have to delete anything and this will not delete your saves. If you want to back up your mod list or custom keybinds/settings, use the command !backup in #🤖bot-commands

so im having an issue where on starting a new game i can see the ui but have an otherwise black screen. i tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling just anomaly and running that and it worked fine but the moment i reinstalled gamma it happened again. The common fix i saw was deleting my shader cache but that did not fix the issue. are there any ideas on what might be going wrong or would this be a good post on the installation problem chat?

You can play it if you really want to, but forget about #🔨base-gamma-support, this channel support is only for G.A.M.M.A. vanilla (which basically means no extra stuff at all) and is also used by Grok for bug fixing.
Since G.A.M.M.A. vanilla doesn't use Warfare, you'll need to use #🔨modded-gamma-support.

You haven't updated to 1.5.2, that's why you're seeing this error.
If you already updated to 1.5.2 and still having problems, it means you did something wrong.

Hey, I'm downloading GAMMA now and it seems to be stuck after downloading the soundscape overhaul mod. It seems to finish, then just states "Instructions solving..." Am I just being impatient and need to wait longer than the 20 minutes I have, or is there a problem here? I've restarted the download few time with no avail as the installer stops in this same spot.

If your installer is stuck and you can read "Instruction solving..." at the bottom, follow this:

  1. Close the installer
  2. Go to your C:/Windows/System32 and look for a file called Robocopy.exe
  3. Copy this file and paste it in GAMMA RC3/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources.
  4. Remove Robocopy_10.exe from this folder and rename your recently pasted Robocopy.exe to Robocopy_10.exe
  5. Relaunch the installer with admin rights, it should be fixed.

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

Is Mags Redux a little weird for anyone else? I reset my jam button and activated the mod, but the guns i use, even though they're my starting weapons, I encounter perpetual jam bugs until i open my inventory, and manually unload/reload

To explain, I rekey my buttons on my keyboard, but that doesn't seem to matter, as my gun jams perpetually/refuses to properly reload until i manually do it via context menus in my inventory, taking several crucial seconds longer in firefights than it needs to

gamma installs for a very long time, everywhere it says that it should be installed less than an hour, I will add that a few months ago it was installing just about an hour. you can do something about it because after 5 hours the installation moved slightly and since yesterday I restarted it literally 4 times and always a few hours and literally almost invisible progress

I've tried running with Core 0 disabled and at high priority. Games FPS is normally good but then at a random time the FPS will drop to 5-10fps and will not recover. This can happen after 20 minutes or an hour but it never recovers, anyone know what it could be related to?
Its not really a frame issue because normally the frames are good, just randomly drops

The file is inside your Anomaly folder, this is the complete path:
Anomaly/appdata/logs.

This is what you could find:

  1. xray_yournamehere.txt
  2. xray_yournamehere.log
  3. xray_yournamehere without any file extension

You just need to send ONE of these files where it was asked. It's either ONE file with .txt OR .log OR with nothing at the end.
DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

Drag and drop the file inside the Discord channel, Discord will handle it for you.
Make sure you're not using any extra mods, if you do, you'll need to ask in #🔨modded-gamma-support.

If your installer is stuck and you can read "Instruction solving..." at the bottom, follow this:

  1. Close the installer
  2. Go to your C:/Windows/System32 and look for a file called Robocopy.exe
  3. Copy this file and paste it in GAMMA RC3/.Grok's Modpack Installer/resources.
  4. Remove Robocopy_10.exe from this folder and rename your recently pasted Robocopy.exe to Robocopy_10.exe
  5. Relaunch the installer with admin rights, it should be fixed.

My game is completely blurred except for the minimap, HUD, and scope. When I reload it, restart my PC, or load a different save even after doing the above mentioned, it stays broken. Anyone know how to fix this?

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

2) Copy these three folders (check pic)
3) Go to your Anomaly folder
4) Paste these three folders (check pic)
5) Overwrite/replace all if asked
It won't delete your save files.

i have several issues:
-NVGs do not work (animation & sound plays, but filter isn't applied)
-loading screen pictures are replaced by a grey block
-Game crashes when pausing, tabbing out, tabbing back in, then exiting the pause menu

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

  • interact with objects or people
  • use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
  • open your inventory
  • drink/eat/sleep
  • check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

  • Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
  • Animation for skinning mutants
  • Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
  • Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Is there way to disable card game? Like that were you can earn up to 1500 RUB? Seems like an exploit no? Where you can just save and replay and constantly win? Is it intended or is it a specific mod? Is there a limit to games or its infinite? If its infinite, I am thinking about removing it, if possible as it makes missions for 4000-5000 RUB useless. No spent ammo or damaged armor weapons health etc. quickly win and reload 3-4 times. Literally in 10 min earned more then in many hours of actually playing game. Kinda feels broken.
