After disabling miracle machine as a merc the load times became very very long. Like a solid 7min load time when traveling between zones. It was about 30 seconds before. Quicksave also freezes the game for a good minute or two. Is it a known issue? Any idea how to fix this?

well, there was one more step to do if the instructions didn't help resolve the problem.

3. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"

Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, reinstall and fix them, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

We can't really see the problem if you take a picture with your cellphone. If you have a problem you want to share with us, you can do the following, since we don't care about your second monitor or your desktop image:

1. Press F12 in-game, look in Anomaly\appdata\screenshots. If it's not there, look in your GAMMA RC3 folder, inside a folder called overwrite
2. Press PRTSC (Print Screen on your keyboard) open Paint, CTLR + V to paste the pic, save it, send it
3. Windows key + Shift + S, which let you choose what part of the screen you want to copy, it will directly copy the pic for you.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

I guess most of my issues were due to download and install failures but I never got bot suspended on the site, after downloading a few different times with a vpn I managed to get all the files

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1) Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2) Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3) Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4) While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5) After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
Bonus: You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list.

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't just disable the mod in your current save file and call it a day. Your game will crash. To remove Mags Redux you'll HAVE to remove them from your save file with this addon, follow EVERY STEP: <#🖇old-mods-posting message>

your Anomaly is corrupted, moddb does that some times, get the torrent version

So I had my stuff working all good on PC. Took my anomaly folder + GAMMA and zipped.

Put onto my deck, unzipped and followed all the steps, game ran just laggy af.

Got upto this part:

Remove reshade. Following the tips here, open up the anomaly/bin folder and delete any of the dlls mentioned in that forum post and the reshade-shaders folder.
Disable shader mods. Following the steps for disabling shaders on the discord: Disable
Screen Space Shaders - Ascii1457
Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA
Right click Beef’s NVG addon, click “reinstall mod” and tick the following options:

Beef’s NVG
Beef’s NVG - Patch ES
Delete anomaly/appdata/shaders_cache folder

did all that, now when I run it says shader compilation error

if i re-enable shaders cumulative pack and screen space shaders, this fixed the compilation error but i still crash on clicking settings

So I assume I need to have these 2 shader mods off, but whenever I do, it crashes on loading save, but when they're enabled, no crash on loading save

ill disable and try a fresh save aswell now

is disabling these just for better performance?

Yeah manually did it. (Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_patches) into anomaly folder and overwrite I believe.

In saying that MO2 under linux can be a bit finicky at times. Due to uvfs used.

Have you managed to solve this? I have similar problem. Every time i try to go into Rostok i CTD. It makes no difference if i use fast travel or go by foot from any other area. In my case other ogf is missing (stalker-do-balon.ogf). I have already tried to reinstall whole game, but it changes nothing. It will be great to get this solved instead of starting new game.

if I use the mod launcher to start gamma, can I not change values in mods in the G.A.M.M.A. install folder? I changed the "skills haruka" mod to require 1 xp to lvl up (for testing purposes) and increased lvl up gains, but nothing in the file changes anything in game, even when starting a new game. DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

So, I got the most vague error. I downloaded and installed gamma for the first time, I started a new game as a loner in cordon. I finished two quests, one by fanatic and one "tourist" one. I wanted to return to the village to finish the quests. Then I found myself fighting some zombified stalkers and after some time in that fight the game freezes. No crash, no error message as the game doesn't shut down. This error happens every time from the 4 times I tried to load the save.

I used to get this error from one specific stalker in the freedom base on normal anomaly, but that's all I can say around it.

In case you want to save your in-game or MCM settings (because the installer will revert them back to default), type !backup in #🤖bot-commands.

I'll give this a try but 2560 x 1440p isn't ultra wide. It's just a 2k resolution. It's the same as 1080p with more pixels. Both 16:9 aspect ratio.

My unjam keybind has not been working for a long while, I've always had to go into my inventory and click on the gun to unjam it. This has persisted through multiple Full GAMMA Installations, GAMMA Data Updates, and GAMMA Addon Updates. In fact I just updated Data and Addons 20 minutes prior to writing. This issue persisted with/without the mod "Unjam on same key as reload" enabled. I opened the mod and looked at the scripts, and noticed that "Clear_Jam" was empty

@compact flame I see you keep having issues since yesterday. Part of GAMMA data is downloaded from Github and the other part of addons from ModDB. As I've mentioned it's weekend and ModDB servers are throttling so it will be slow. Also what's your Internet speed?

no, redistributing other peoples' work is not something GAMMA does as most mod-makers don't allow that, the installer grabs everything one by one from the source, this ensures that ModDB registers a download on the mod pages thus accrediting the mod makers

Just moved my anomaly & gamma to my m.2 folder then realized that just moving it broke the game so I deleted & clean reinstalled but now it's crashing whenever I start a game. Boots to main menu fine but I can't start a run in cordon or whatever.

Is there a way to remove the Depth Of Field option ? Im unticking it then when i go back to options its still there ?

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.
