I updated it just like the instructions said and now there are 367ish mods on and it was like 340ish mods before, not super happy with the new set up, is there any way to revert it to the previous update? I know you can go in and turn on/off individual mods but some of them don't have an internet link with the descriptions on them so its hard to figure out what they even do. Plus I'm dumb and have no idea what I'm doing but I'm trying to learn what I can from the discord. Any suggestions?

I Could use some help. Walked into Garbage and once I get halfway through the area this crash keeps happening. I did try and do a redownload of the GAMMA Data and the Full Gamma installation as other solutions have suggested and it keeps redownloading gamma_large_files_v2-main.zip and gamma_loading_screens-main.zip each time due to aborted downloads. I found the URLs in the modlist and downloaded them myself and they CRC to be the same as what the Gamma installer grabs so I am not sure that's relevant. I also tried installing the older BaS install on here too. However I did notice that in the newer version that's part of the original download and the older one that this file doesn't exist. Not quite sure on what else to do at this point

If you crash upon changing your resolution in game, you can change it before launching the game. In Anomaly/appdata/user.ltx look for the vid_mode line and change it to the resolution you like.

5. Click "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation"
   Don't delete anything

Grok is trying to release 1.0 ASAP, he's working now (as in, he have a real job) so his modding time is limited. For now, he's doing the same things he has been doing for months: polishing, bug fixing and releasing (almost) daily updates.
Also, Boomsticks and Sharpsticks have been updated, this has clearly slowed down the work, because you have to put weapons in loadouts, give them to NPCs, balancing these guns, make sure everything is in place... it's a lot of extra work that is already being worked on these days and for which 1.0 is delayed.
However.
G.A.M.M.A., as it is right now, can already be considered 1.0, because the actual 1.0 will literally just be a more organised mod list (once and for all), so no disabled mods that can harm your game, etc.

As for actually new things to be added, he has already said not to expect the world for 1.0.

Hey guys, I think there's a bug that blocks me from completing the Clear Sky's last dawn mission (clearing the Renegades from farmstead mission)
So when I received to clear the southeastern farmstead, instead of waiting the clear sky men to join up I ended up went ahead of them then finished the mission by myself. Clear sky then later came and just sat at the campfire, and I got stuck from there.
I couldn't finish the last dawn mission because of that bug I believe

It's the new DOF (Depth Of Field) effect. You can turn it off:
1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

Hello, I'm back with my colossally borked game. After a ton of unsuccessful trouble shooting last night, I attempted to "reset" my game files by re-extracting Anomaly 1.5.1 from the zip and re-updating it to 1.5.2. I also used the GAMMA launcher to Re-download the GAMMA data and then did an "Only install GAMMA Addons" to try to reset my GAMMA as well. However, now my game won't start up completely - it crashes before reaching the main menu. Here is my log:

@narrow sparrow That definitely helped, I can get into the main menu now! The game started in an incredibly tiny window for some reason though, lol. I'm gonna try to fix that and then see if I can load my saves or not.

@narrow sparrow the window fixed itself when I tabbed out and back in - also I'm realizing that I obviously lost all my saves from "resetting" my installation, so I went to start a new game instead. The game got hung up before finishing the loading screens and crashed. I got a fatal error but accidentally closed it trying to exit the window.

Here is the log which includes the fatal error. Seems like it's back to saying "GPU device instance suspended".

Also I have a "Mini Dump" file in my logs folder, so that's new.

Also I just wanted to check, is having this warning in MO2 normal?

A core feature of GAMMA is the inability to trade weapons/armour, this is as intended.
You can revert it to a more 'vanilla' experience, but GAMMA is not designed for that.

if you wanna fix it do this:
Go to https://moddb.com and see if you are flagged as a bot. If you are, you will see a big red screen. You can either wait for the block to expire or use a VPN. Then run a full install.

2. Open GAMMA installer as admin

Updated and now there's this really aggressive DOF effect on the world when I aim down sights. Would rather do without it. Found weapons DOF in "SSS Settings" in the mod configuration options, but turning all of the sliders to zero still hasn't gotten rid of the effect. Is there another cause for it I'm missing? If you want to turn off the stinky dynamic dof when aiming at stuff (when you aim at a tree, everything else behind it gets blurred), but want to keep the blur when you reload or use an item, that stuff comes from ScreenSpaceShaders (SSS), soooooo....

• Disable Shaders cumulative pack for GAMMA (that has all of the shaders shows in the image)
• Install ScreenSpaceShaders (SSS) and make sure to enable Weapon DOF (and any other settings you want, I'd recommend everything and then picking between SSR Water or SSR Water Ice; depending on if you are playing stalker in the snow.)
• I haven't installed any of the other shaders so I don't know what one forces the DOF to always be on in the settings, let me knoe if you figure it out xoxo.
• Install any other shaders you want to keep (NOTE: Read last step again)
• Boot da game
• Go to the settings > visuals > advanced
• Scroll to the bottom and untick DOF
• Apply settings, go back into the settings and check to see if it stays off.

Now the dynamic focus DOF should be gone but the inventory and reloading DOF should still be there!~~

1) Open the game
2) Go in Mod Configuration Menu
3) Search SSS Settings
4) Disable whatever options you don't like and/or move sliders to the left
If these steps do not work and DOF stays enabled, press ~, type r2_dof_enable off and hit Enter.

Shaders Cumulative Pack for GAMMA has to be enabled in MO2, otherwise the SSS settings won't be visible.

To fix it, you need to launch STALKER in Debug Mode, once in game hit 'F7' and '0' to open NPC Logic / Execute, and type the following under Function Execute.
