A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

I experience graphic problems with reflections on water as seen on the screenshot. I tried to check and uncheck graphic options one after another, I tried to start with lower DirectX-Versions. My drivers for Radeon 580X are updated and I have before not changed any settings from the original GAMMA installation. Has anyone experienced these errors already and knows which knob to turn to get rid of the graphic artifacts?

How does one enable fast travel? I'm aware there are guides but you gotta pay plus they're not always present at each region/location. I have to do many trips back and fourth from Gordon to Yantar etc but it takes forever and I've seen multiple people being able to fast travel when playing GAMMA and I do find some fast travel related mods within MO but I don't want to mess around that too much without being sure

Hello guys, I have a big graphical issue : When I turn on SSAO from off to SSDO low, I drop from 100 fps to 30 (this doesn't seem normal at all). Then when I turn it back off and restart the game, I am still at 30 FPS. The only way to go back to 100+ fps is to go all the way back to low presets and turn things on one by one. Something is wrong with Gamma installation. I had to do a clean reinstall because i got a new SSD and Win 11 and i keep trying since yesterday. Every single time i try to update and keep my settings etc (pull the user.ltx from the Anomaly appdata folder, do the rename of Gamma MCM values etc etc, i follow the instructions TO THE LETTER) I get an error like this (see image):

It has literally not worked once, ever. I always end up having to manually redo my settings and mods.

Not bringing the awesome talent of Grok, his team, or any contributors into doubt or anything, but could someone review the instructions on how to update and keep your settings please, in case there's a little something missing / incorrect there? (I know I know, I'm probably just a dumbass that messed up, but since it's happening every time, it could be worth a quick look 😅 )

Obviously now I'm marked as a bot for moddb again, so I'll have to wait for that to timeout and then update and just redo my settings etc manually again. Getting kinda tiresome, and makes me want to avoid updating lol.

my FOV is messed up, I think I zoomed in while I was traveling to a new level and now my FOV is zoomed in, the gun looks the same but everything else is really zoomed in, I tried restarting the game and loading an earlier save but it didn't help

I've reinstalled everything from scratch, double checked if I installed everything like instructed , I've tried disabling anything relating to campfires but couldn't get the game to work. if you're doing it for the first time, it will take solid 20-40 minutes to install everything
after all the initial setup, updates or full gamma installs take about a minute
