FDDA is not really meant to be enabled by default with this version of the pack, sooooo if you've ever disabled GAMMA Reliable Animation Settings to get to FDDA extra anims, there's a reason we say we won't support you here

Right-click the Horror Overhaul mod in MO2, and click "Visit on ModDB"
Download the mod file(s) from moddb. DO NOT EXTRACT.

Click the "Download G.A.M.M.A. Data" button.
Click the "Full G.A.M.M.A. installation" button

Hello i am trying to play vanilla anomaly but i have noticed there is an audible difference in sound quality between gamma and vanilla. vanilla sounds a little muffled and slightly more monotone. Anyone know the mod/mods that may be used for that increased sound quality so i can install just those?

this same exact shader file "20481111001100000000001000001013310101101000000" keeps causing crashes even as i've done multiple fresh installs, it's the same exact file that causes my screen to go black but i can still move/have inputs until i press ESC or get to a loading screen by moving to an area or reloading my save

i've done a lot to look into this, even look into the error 0x887a0005 and see if there's any similar issues through google
i've done !blackscreen, !k98, deleted shader cache, reinstalled mods, reinstalled the game (twice, G.A.M.M.A and Anomaly 1.5.2), tried new saves, ran the game in administrator mode and pretty much anything that i could possibly find

i can't play this game without crashing every 10-15 minutes and at it's worst it's every 5 minutes

is there anything i can do to fix this, any files that i could possibly replace to have a stable game?

i've made a couple posts about this but nobody has responded, any help or pointers would be really appreciated

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

If you get the bug on first load, try loading the same save again. It loads faster and is less likely to bug.

4. Delete G.A.M.M.A. Actor Damage Balancer from both \GAMMA\mods and \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons then run a full install using mirror 128 (don't delete anything).

I'm getting some really weird NPC interactions where some high rank Stalkers would run up to me with the guns drawn as if they're supposed to attack, but they don't. I can talk to them and even take quests from them, and they will lower their weapons but immediately draw and aim at me again and try sprinting into me. It seems like they're a hitsquad who's hunting me because my original faction is Military, but because i'm disguised it breaks their AI so they treat me as friendly, but every couple of seconds they remember they need to hunt me down.

Hello fellow stalker, I hope this is the right channel for this question.
Im currently playing as Mercenary in story mode. I have found the Military Documents and Psy-Research Documents from the Agroprom Underground and the Lab x-16 in yantar. While It seems I can progress the main quest just fine - my current mission is to disable the brain scorcher in Radar - I can't turn in those documents at any friendly trader. I remember in earlier playtroughs there would be a dialogue option going something like "I found some old documents would you have a look?" where you would then get a medium amount of cash and item reward as well as some rep.
Currently those documents are just sitting in my inventory as quest items. Did something change where fetching those is a quest later? Or am I missing something here?

I dont think they were ever part of the quest, you just found them the first time trough a lab. They have 0 kg and cant be removed from inventory thats why they are relevant in some way. I think about 2-3 months ago I played trough it last and there it worked as normal so must be something with a new update? I just did an update yesterday, worked great with no problems. I logged in this morning and suddenly depth of field is turned on and no matter how hard I try every time I turn it off it is back on in the default. I did the mod changes in SSS, but it is specifically the 'Depth of Field' click box in advanced settings. Is this a bug with some new update?

I'm really struggling with configuring this game. It's getting to the point of frustration and I want to stop.

I finally had a graphical config yesterday. I was running at a decent 30-60 FPS with no dips below 30... Still fluctuating wildly but playable. I put in a solid 3-4 hours of play.

This morning I booted up the game, and I'm right back to 30 FPS, cratering at 17 FPS...

I changed nothing about the settings since last night

What's even more frustrating is that, having started with everything set to low and off, no single change has any noticeable effect on the games performance

In order to properly enable Mags Redux:

1. Enable Mags Redux (Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload) (the mod under "Optional")
2. Disable G.A.M.M.A. Unjam Reload on the same key (yes it's a mod, no it isn't a keybind)
3. Enable Ammo Check (this is a mod as well)
4. While in game, check your keybinds for RELOAD and UNJAM in Settings > Controls > Bindings
5. After successfully following all steps, you need to Left-Alt + left click the magazine to add to your loadout, before a reload can work
   Bonus) You can also enable Mags Buyable at Traders if you want, it's a mod already inside your mod list

KEEP IN MIND that once you enable Mags Redux, you can't disable it in your current save file.

The only 100% safe way to do so is by loading a save where you DON'T have the mod enabled OR by starting a new game WITHOUT Mags Redux.

We also have this POSSIBLE workaround if you want to disable Mags Redux in the middle of your game:

Hey so I had an bug with crashing entering Dark Valley and was recommended to do a full install. That seemed to fix it and it played fine for a while. Booting up today I saw a message at the top of the main menu talking about an update so I decided to do another full install. Everything was fine till i got to GAMMA large files and got an "Unexpected end of archive" should I be concerned? I remember seeing this pop up when i did the earlier full install but i didnt check the console to see if it eventually fixed itself.

In mcm settings you can set the artifact degradation to 0, so that artifacts won't degrade with use.

But you will still have to find artifacts and empower them to get gull benefits tho.
