Hello, I had this problem when loading my save. I tried to fix it by doing the full gamma installation multiple times and it turned out that the mod "Horror Overhaul" was missing a file or files.

to fix that I proceeded as instructed here

However after that I have multiple ❌ in my mo2

And my game won't launch

I've had an issue recently where when I aim down my scope, a PU scope attached to a SKS that the image is flipped. Down the scope I'm seeing upside down. I didn't change anything recently and have recently redownloaded and updated gamma with the 3.8 launcher.

In the settings for the scope mod in the mod-list ingame I have tried the various keybinds to try to reset the POV including holding down shift + backspace key to no avail. It's the only scoped weapon I have so I am unsure if it's specific to this weapon or all weapons.

I dont have a certain fix for that. Try running Mo2 as admin and see if the crash is still there

If you have a mod that adds anything to a save and disable it that save will no longer load without that mod.
When you went to the default modlist and loaded your save it started looking for files that no longer exist.
if you want to load that save you have to reenable the custom mods you had and void your support warranty per say.
Or you can start a new save with the default mods.

greetings, I just need to ask how can I fix this issue where I attempt to start playing the game. the game boots up fine, I goto create my loadout and then click start the game freezes and then crashes to desktop. I've been playing stalker anomaly for at least 4 weeks now and all of a sudden when I go to launch it from the desktop icon it says that the portable instance stalker anomaly plug-in cannot be found it may have been deleted by the antivirus. Hello, so I finally got gamma to run on my computer and it runs fine but I've noticed when I have a long gun like the karabiner 98 and try to equip it doesn't show I'm holding it. Plus when I try to switch to like a sidearm or knife nothing happens unless I go into my inventory and manually unequip the rifle. I have all 357 mods and have added no other mods

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

I installed the full install way after the big video posts on youtube, and did everything by the book here and on video tutorials. It shouldnt be the issue to update and stuff.

Yeah, I know. It's fine. Like I said, it's not unplayable. It's not a great experience as far as playability, but it's doable and I am addicted to everything else about the game, so while it sucks a little, I'm not gonna stop playing. Just wish I didn't also have to have abysmal loading times, but I think that's more to do with the fact that I'm running on a 7200rpm hard drive and a 5th gen CPU.

@keen cedar Short update: I tried to reinstall today, no luck. Still crashing out in the miracle machine. Then I started the gam on DX11 instead of DX11-AVX and didn't have any crashes for about a 1 hour session (crashed every 5 to 10 minutes before). Not sure what it means, but it seems fixed. For anyone getting strange crashes with no logs: try turning of AVX, might just help

When you're in game, press J. Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

Hey, after shooting a bandit in garbage for a quest, my game crashes the second the bullet touch him or anyone (tried mutants same thing), i have the crash logs if someone willing to help me

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

Okay... after borking my game by deciding to select one of the graphic preset dropdown I have went through the entire install process.

For me mods keep "crashing/disappearing". (The minimap disappears, ammo count too, and icons for thirst etc, psy-hp-bar) - Probably more but I can't tell the full extent.
This happens regularly when saving the game.
The only fix I know is to do a full install.
I have now had to do this 3 days in a row.

Asked this question a few times in other channels since I’m not even certain it’s a bug, but nobody seems to have any answers so I’ll try here.

Been going for quite a while on my current save, and I’m noticing that for a REALLY long time, not a single downed enemy has “surrendered.” As in, they become wounded, and you can aim your gun at them to get them to kneel and give you their weapon/stash locations. It hasn’t happened in so long that I’ve been attempting to even bait it out, and I’ve noticed that I’m not even able to initiate dialogue with hostile downed stalkers like I was able to at the beginning of the game. Is this a side effect of goodwill the goodwill system? Am I just incredibly unlucky? Or has some script perhaps been permanently flagged?

When you're in game, press J. Be sure to be close to them, 200m is the maximum distance you can be far from them, don't go over 300m.
Also, if their health bar is grey, that means that you're far from them and they won't "hear" you.
You'll need to get more close to them, sometimes you'll need to be right next to them in order to "teleport" them.

I'm used to modding Skyrim/Fallout through Vortex, so the organization of MO2 is still new to me. I'm getting a warning message about an overwrite file and it seems to be a .mdmp file. I'm unfamiliar with these and can't really remember experiencing overwrite files generating when doing modding in other places
