@inland night I tested this and it fixes the P90 issue. @tulip tiger Tell me if this fixes the MP7 issue in Dead City for you. This simply forces the specific model of MP7 and P90 to use the LR300's model instead. It's super janky and looks silly, but at least the game is playable now. NPCs will hold the "P90" and "MP7" wrong, and it will be completely unusable to the player, but it will no longer crash the game.

To install, go into MO2 > File > Install Mod > Select the .7z file and confirm you want to install it. Give it a name you'll recognize. Make sure it's checked in MO2.

Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

DON'T send anything with .bkp at end.

It'll actually be held properly by NPCs and the player alike, but they'll always appear as a base LR300 with no attachments regardless of how it appears in the inventory. The animations are also out of sync.

Not that it's that big of a deal to me, but the K98 is completely unusable. Equipping it does not show the weapon at all. There's only the first time camera animation for when you're "checking" the weapon, with the laugh sometimes. Additionally, I can't even holster the invisible gun or pull out any other weapon/tool unless I go into my inventory and drop it or use my drop key.

A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.

I got a sudden problem (worked like a charm until now), whenever I travel from Army Warehouse to Cordon via navigator, the game starts to fail at displaying correct stamina (it no longer depletes yet you can exhaust), animations when skinning are gone (it's instant), camera close-up when talking to NPCs does not work and saving or loading the game anywhere in that level (Cordon) crashes the game, the whole "autosave" file on that travel is f****d, loading a previous save file (still in Army Warehouse) is okay, only by travelling to Cordon it makes the game fall apart...

nevermind I think I figured it out, I was in close proximity to electro anomalies. Which in other modpacks/installations of the game shouldn't do damage unless touched. But they seem to do damage similar to fire anomalies now in the area around them.

You are missing some disabled mods, which might mean that the installer is having issues downloading the rest of the mods. Make sure that ALL of your antiviruses are off if you have multiple. Check if Windows Defender is off. Add both GAMMA and Anomaly folders to exception lists

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.

Hey all. I seem to be getting the busyhands bug. Strange thing is, it only happens when I try to travel to Cordon. I can travel anywhere else just fine, but Cordon bugs the health meter. I can still play on just fine, but if I try to throw a grenade, all animations are bugged and I can't switch weapons anymore.

my GPU reliably crashes near the duty base in Rostok. shuts my display off and requires a full computer restart to fix. idk if this crash log will have anything, not even my PC recognizes the event. drivers are up to date. it's an AMD card and I did all the relevant fixes I could find in this discord. if there's anything useful in this log that I can use to fix this I would appreciate it.

weirdly, every other release of GAMMA is super unstable for me, two updates ago my GPU failed all the time, last update it was super clean and stable for a while after I implemented a whole bunch of fixes. This update it went right back to being unstable again.

I need some help here regarding the disguise system
I have now tried everything it feels like, I'm trying to enter Merc Base in dead city and I keep getting shot on sight when I go in.
My disguise says it works(ecologist), below is my current loadout.
I've tried going tping into the zone, going in through the zone with the disguise on.
And every time they hive mind and shoot me, I have reloaded saves prior to this where I'm not in the zone

I just encountered a bug with Living legend: Crucible where im instructed to fight the phantom guard and grab the Shard but as soon as i enter the monolith control centre my quest disappears from the PDA task list and when following through with killing phantom guards and grabbing the shard nothing happens and i dont unlock the dialogue option to hand the shard to strelok and move on to the next quest "Living Legend: Answers"

Just updated with the recent hotfix. After reloading a (pre-hotfix) save, the Smith & Wesson 645 ammo was changed from .45 to 9x18mm. Is this a bug on my end due to the update or was the change to 9mm ammo intended in the update?

I already tried a full [re]install, but to no avail.

Also, I'd like to add that on my first update, magazines were suddenly spawning on npcs despite having mags redux turned off -- but the second full [re]installation fixed this issue (although the saves which did have this issue, concerning the sudden mag spawning, are now bricked).

Hey guys! So ever since the latest update... my game has been running amazingly well. Until now. I jsut went through Agroprom Underground and I've always had problems with crashes there in GAMMA. Specifically I crash at the big hall with the acid anomalies and the Burer and the hall of fire anomalies and snorks is a shitshow with crashing. Now when I opened the logs I didn't see any errors or whatever. BUT ever since I went there and I saved after the crashes i've been having lag when opening inventories or stashes(specifically when shift-transferring items), also loading new areas takes a lot longer now and I may have noticed some more hiccups or fps drops. You guys have any idea what i could do to fix it or if it's gonna go away or something? Should I reload before i went to Agroprom Underground or something and try to avoid that area?

loading times are getting a little insane ever since the crashes... i deleted the saves post the crashes and tried replaying an older save... but it's happening there as well.... anyone have a clue how i can fix it or what is causing it?

Hello, I have a potato pc so I disabled some visual mods. At first everything was great but after some point the game always crashes saying "shader compilation failed". Can someone help me?
