A possible fix for busyhands if you have the "Turn this on if you stutter" mod enabled: reduce the auto_switch_distance_start in small increments of a few hundred at a time in \GAMMA\mods\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs alife.ltx.
Start with like 300 or something, then every time you get busyhands randomly, reduce it by 200 more.
If the fix needs to be resistant to changes made by the installer make sure to also modify the alife.ltx file in \GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\G.A.M.M.A\modpack_addons\Turn this on if you stutter\gamedata\configs

Do you have a good CPU? Use AVX (if you have a crash, it probably means your CPU doesn't support this function).
Do you have a good GPU? DON'T use AVX.
Do you have both? Try for yourself, see what's better.

Actual explanation:
AVX is a way for your CPU to do calculations on a large array of data simultaneously. This is the same kind of job GPUs are primarily meant for.
So if your GPU is decent, AVX is (in most cases) outclassed by the GPU itself. Best way to know which is better for you, personally, is to try both versions and see what does or doesn't crash/performs better.

is it me or Gamma started to crash so much more after anniversary update ... i did the update as usual nothing went wrong (gamma data + full installation) ... i use dx11 (without avx) ... 6 crash in 2 days ... usually looks like in game loading squence where hichups like a 1 second lags now turned into crashes ... new map and 3 seconds later crash :/ ... what could be wrong ? Depends. But this might not suit everyone since it's a bit more advanced. But first figure out which mod is responsible for those items. These "hud"-files are mostly related to outfits. It might be easily solved by making sure that DLTX mods are being loaded in the proper order. If that's not enough, or If it's non-DLTX, I usually search the files for the related definitions and/or variables (e.g. "actor_hud_loner_sunrise") to see which mod exactly modifies that outfit (the sunrise suit in this case). In my case some file/script/config tried to access the variable "item_visual", but it's not existing, which usually means that another mod overrides changes that are required for the first mod to function properly. So this might be an incompatibility. Either remove incompatible mod or make it compatible by adding in the related changes manually.

There is something odd with Trader Overhaul. I just wanted to check some files inside it. Whenever I attempt to double click it in MO2 it sayss it cannot find the path. But it's indeed there. However, the included files won't open in any program (like NP++), but only with normal Windows Notepad, which is weird. Then when I open the mod's folder in windows explorer, it's clear that it's not properly configured, since the 1.5.2 files for Trader Overhaul are in a seperate folder that won't be applied when the mod is enabled in MO2.
I don't use it though. Just wanted to check something and figured this out. So something is wrong there. I already made a full install twice, etc.

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement
