For anyone who can't disable the obnoxious depth of field, make sure to disable them in the mcm menu in sss, then go to the main menu of the game, disable the depth of field in the normal settings menu over in advanced video settings, then click apply, then restart the game. I've fixed it,
Go to the properties of the exe you are using, for example AnomalyDX11AVX.exe and make sure to tick disable full screen optimizations, and tick run as admin.

if that doesn't work then close your game, open your users.ltx with notepad or notepad++, go to r2_dof_enable on, and change it to r2_dof_enable off
then go to the properties of the users.ltx and make it read only

then launch the game.

Hello, ive been trying to update gamma for a bit now and I tried doing it normally by just using the launcher (up to date) with full gamma installation and I ended up with like 337 mods instead of 348, I deleted /downloads and /mods and am currently reinstalling but I have a bunch of mods that look like this. Ive checked Moddb and I have not been blacklisted.

Ah, I should've clarified. When I say without doing a fresh reinstall, I meant without deleting and starting over. The "full install" button, as near as I can tell, works a bit like a version control update (SVN, git, that kind of thing), where it just checks to make sure everything you have matches the expected file listings for the latest version.

For some Reason, Cordon's Bandits are hostile to me. As you can see, i even have Bandit Followers. Its only Cordon and its never the bandits that spawn at the Checkpoint to Garbage. Only those near the Railroad Bridge... Reloading the Autosave at the Checkpoint would fix that, but i just found a 99% Barrel Kriss, is there a way to fix that bug?

• NEVER, NEVER, NEVER extract Anomaly AND G.A.M.M.A. in Desktop, Download, Documents, OneDrive, Program Files and/or Program Files (x86).
  NEVER.
  Anomaly and GAMMA have to be in TWO SEPARATE DIFFERENT FOLDERS.
  Installing them together in one big singular folder WILL RESULT IN PROBLEMS.
  You can have something like this directly in the root of your hard drive/SSD:

C:\Anomaly
C:\G.A.M.M.A. RC3

THIS IS AN EXAMPLE, you can use whatever drive you want or create multiple folders, you can even have Anomaly in C: and G.A.M.M.A. in D:.
AS LONG AS EVERYTHING IS SEPARATED AND NOT INSIDE A SINGLE FOLDER.

• KEEP IN MIND AND REMEMBER that performing many Full G.A.M.M.A. installation or MD5 Check WILL GET YOU FLAGGED AS A BOT BY Moddb FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR.
  It's either the installation OR the MD5 check.
  You can check if you’re blocked by going on Moddb. You simply need to open the site, if you're blocked, you'll know it instantly, you'll see a giant red screen with a warning.
  Another way to tell if you're blocked is by checking the command window the installer open, if you see a bunch of errors that never stops, maybe you’re blocked.
  Check also your mod list as well, it's full of red crosses? It's another sign that you are blocked on Moddb and you didn't download anything.

• Make sure you're using the latest installer (version 3.8) that you can get in #📢announcements (or type !installer in #🤖bot-commands) and make sure to open it with admin rights.

the only mod that I used besides invictus protect, was "02 Tagged Patches Non-DLTX " and shortly after that my game startet crashing, and my load times became super long (over 5 min) and my game freezes for over 5 seconds when I look in my stash or even inventory, but disabling it didnt fix it, also there were 2 versions DLTX and non DLTX, I have no Idea what that means, so went with non DLTX, could that mod have anything to do with my problems ?

I followed the installation process, and i got to gamma window

And then clicked on launch MO2

ok, try closing the game, disabling the stutter fix then loading a previous save and do the same action that caused the bug again and see if it has been fixed.

Already tried it, and I'm pretty sure that when you update it doesn't automatically add the new mods to the modlsit you have to tick them yourself. So yes you keep your settings but you'll have to manually add the new mods I might be wrong.

Guys, I have a pretty odd but straightforward problem. Whenever I equip the Mauser and try to pull it out, my hands seem to freeze. I can't use any other weapon until I unequip the Kar. I updated gamma today but the glitch still occurs. I browsed the mods and found this, I dunno if it's the source of the problem tho.

sounds like it isn't able to read in some strings

just change the file extension instead of straight up deleting though, so add something like .bak to the end just in case

1. Go to \Anomaly\appdata and open user.ltx with a text editor.
2. Search for snd_cache_size and snd_targets then reduce their value from 256 to 128
3. Launch the game and open the settings.
4. Click Visual then Advanced.
5. Slightly reduce Texture detail and Object detail.

idk if it's what's causing it or is common, but I saw a couple scripts and textures were bad/ missing in that log you sent
