DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

To clean your "Shader Cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.

i recently learned - the "difficulty" presets in the Settings menu is not the same as the presets you get by starting a new game. The new game presets are tuned for GAMMA, the settings menu presets are tuned for Anomaly - for example at all levels in GAMMA your carry weight is meant to be maxed out on 50kg.

(I spent a good number of hours walking around on 10kg actual carry weight before backpacks so I feel this...)

Quick explanation about WHY you're missing mods/files:

Moddb isn't really suited for the installer, it's not that much ordinary to download 300+ mods casually every other day, so you can lose some files in the process, when you download them.
MO2 can't obviously know if you have everything or not. This is because, if the file structure of the mod is "okay", the mod is "okay".
Anomaly, on the other hand, knows right away that something is wrong/is missing from a specific mod, because it has to look for certain files in certain mods. And if those files are not there, the game crashes.

I saw on the FAQ a guide to make the zone look more "alive" by disabling a few visual mods that replace the trees foliage. It then goes on to talk about adding AI cant see through foliage and then having to remove gun cover tilt and all kinds of things,
Does removing gun cover tilt and having NPCs not see through foliage negatively effect gameplay overall? And it says it also removes something called "Gunslinger controller" I just started so idk what a lot of these things are lol. Thanks if anyone could give feedback. I really like the look of the zone with more greenery but not if it takes away from the gameplay too much

npcs being able to snipe you through bushes is largely an issue in Great Swamps.

Turning on "NPCs can't see through foliage" can help but it means sometimes the actual bush that you see does not match up with the invisible vision-blocking wall that the bush has, so you can be standing in a knee-high bush and the NPCs can't see you, or you can be standing in a bush that you think is covering you and the NPCs pop your head like a melon.

Because "NPCs can't see through foliage" makes bushes act as "cover" (that lets bullets through) as far as the game is concerned, it also makes Weapon Cover Tilt... tilt your weapon because it thinks you're in cover. This means you can't shoot out of a bush. To give yourself that ability, do not disable the mod in MO2 - do it via the in-game Mod Configuration Menu (Esc > MCM > Weapon Cover Tilt > disable it). Otherwise it will cause a game crash since "Gunslinger Controller" requires that "Weapon Cover Tilt" is enabled in MO2.

turning on "NPCs can't see through foliage" def makes it easier because it is significantly easier for a human to spot an AI through it than vice versa, even if it has leaves on. WCT is largely cosmetic.

eta: Also, you can stand in a bush and shoot out of it and the AI can't. They can still "hit" you with lucky grenades or ricochets but they can't directly aim at you while you're in a bush

Hello, when reloading/switching shell types my Carabiner is using the pump shotgun animation also when its equipped its adding animations for looting/skinning or ignoring the setting to use item use animations - only when the Carabiner is equipped. This a known bug? Can I edit something to fix it?

So, I got the "Defend the Pump Station" quest. This is a different one from the Last Dawn story line. In this one, I am supposed to talk to a commander NPC, who then would tell me to go to a sniper tower, and then I would be able to trigger the assault to begin. There are problems though. If I use the guide in the Hidden Base, my quest simply does not work. If I walk to the pump station, my game crashes when approaching it. This has happened every time. Attached is a crash log.

Negative resistances are potentially bugged, so if you have anything equipped that increases the amount of damage you take from an anomaly and you enter the ambient damage field (some anomalies have this, e.g. electro) it can kill you super quickly

Guys, npcs sometimes won't go aggro or shoot at me even when I am next to them and/or shooting them. Any suggestions? (obviously not allies)
I've checked, bot has this "blind" command, but suggestion there did not help
I've also done something like a comparison test, basically spawned some random squads in gamma and in redux pretty far away. In redux they would sometimes see me even without shooting them, while in gamma they would completetly ignore me sometimes even if i shoot them or kill their allies next to them
