my debug menu randomly stops working after opening and closing it sometimes, and I have to reload my game to get it working again. It happens on average every 3 times I open and close it, like I press f7 and nothing comes up. is this normal? is there a way to fix it or at least a way to get it working without having to reload?

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Issue is still persistent unfortunately. Made sure unlimited stash weight was disabled as @upper dagger suggested and updated GAMMA to make sure my modlist was default. Only made some tweaks in the ingame modmenu: - lowered waittime between fasttravels, - reduced degredation of perk-based artefacts over time, - disabled first 4 points of sorting plus, - disabled zoom and focus on npc while talking to them. I'm playing with Mag Redux, I've checked dead city and spore traders (both nato) for a mag for it, and they just don't have anything that will allow me to load bullets into this gun.. do I need to go to some other nato trader that I haven't met yet or.. cause I've never used debug menu before but I'm getting really tempted after running through the south of the zone looking for a damn mag

I don't think I've gotten a 5.56 aug to see if the nato traders have mags for those, but I'm 99% sure they do, I've never ran into this issue before this gun, normally between sidorovich/duty trader in rostok, or Spore/deadcity merc trader I can get all warsaw / nato equipment

Spore is at supply 5, merc at supply 3 (those are who I believe SHOULD have), duty is the lowest, then freedom I think supply 4

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

MO2 lists 336 mods installed and i haven't modified the mod list at all so it's all "Vanilla Gamma". from the launcher it's set to DX11 and i followed the instructions step by step so i'm not sure what happened or what's going wrong. there's no error message either, just an error sound and back to desktop.

Okay, so. It works after messing around with Voicemeeter and my system's default devices. I think the issue was that my default sound devices got mixed up somewhere along the way which maybe screwed with the audio pathing of GAMMA.

Hi everyone. I'm having an issue related to very long loading times, and quick savings. Suddenly, my game started to happen with no apparent reason. This happened before and I solved making a full installation from scratch, but this time, this method isn't working anymore. My loading time take up to 5 minutes and quick savings takes 10 seconds to be done even if I start a new game. Any ideas or solutions will be welcome. 1. you survived a psy attack that should have killed you but the game didn't properly do that, causing you to exist in the world but also for all NPCs to think you are already "dead" and therefore ignore you
2. fiddling with Stealth MCM values, breaking NPC perception
3. turned on Incognito at some point in debug menu and it got "stuck"
4. some completely unrelated thing that we have no idea about and wouldn't even know how to start diagnosing

the save is only about 3 hours old, in the modlist I toggled the stutter fix and ammo check on and off, in the in-game settings I just deactivated the limited amount of bolts and activated item usage animations.

I've just got a second CTD in a span of 30 mins. One happened in Wild Territory, at the entrance, at sniper nest - after looting a dead npc. Second npc that was standing near turned towards me and CTD.

Fresh install didn't solved for me, even after that, the issue still happening. What's seems to be the workaround, at least for me, is running the game on DX10 (non avx). Since then, games is running great with no more long loading and saving times.

My other issue was stutter or just freeze for few seconds when opening inventory, turns out this was caused by auto sort mod. had to go into mod config menu and turn it off

Just a quick tip, switching between DX10 and DX11 so many times caused black screen issue for me. So, try avoiding this and stick with Dx11 as much as you can.

I seem to have encountered a bug with Prof Kovalevs mission to retrieve his laptop and the three artifact samples. I can retrieve his laptop but two of the three artifact samples are missing. I don't see any crashes in that log. Errors are fine, and common, but you got no FATAL ERRORS

Had that multiple times, you can spawn them in with the debug menu
